  1. He hasn't organised a new contract for one of our most valuable players? Surely if lack of money was the issue, get him on a new contract and Blacks value soars... It's not rocket science. Our DoF is involved in the recruiting the players that Brewster has identified as targets, and renewing the contracts of players currently playing for us. Think about this for a second. We are hardly inundated with players coming for trials or in talks with the club about joining permanently. Bennet has had very little to do on the player recruitment front so if he hasn't been renewing contracts, just what exactly has he been doing?
  2. I refuse to believe that we do not have enough cash to be able to offer Black a new and improved contract. Bennet is picking up nigh on a grand a week, and for what? If it was a straight choice between keeping a do-nothing DoF or one of our best players, then Bennet would be out the door faster than you could say "You're fired!"
  3. The fact is, it has to be someones fault. We are told that Brewster has nothing to do with the contract negotiations, and that is what Bennet does. Now if you're talking about trimming the wage budget, if Bennet is not organising a contract for one of our most valuable players, what exactly is he doing to justify the wage he is picking up? Contracts should be handed over when current contracts have 1 year left
  4. Black quoted in Tuesdays Courier as saying: Just what exactly is Bennet doing?!
  5. Here layeth a problem. Sure the midfield all know their roles, but a defence with Tokely in it will never keep its shape. I had hope if Tokely was suspended but now I fear another heavily one-sided result.

They're made by Lotto AFAIK, Errea won't produce any designs but their own. (Unless the design was to mark an anniversary etc)
  7. As mentioned, the exact same team that played at Rugby Park but swap Wood for Rooney.
  8. I'd like him a lot more if he left. Seriously though I think he's a fantastic fitness coach. Without being able to play, that is literally the only positive he has.

    Here are my efforts...
  10. I refer to "it" as the existance of the problems you have cited in your original post. You have your head in the sand regarding the existance of problems at the club. Hope that helps
  11. It doesn't matter a jot to me if you believe it or not - If you don't like it, then by all means continue to bury your head in the sand.
  12. Because the evidence hasn't been put in the public domain yet.
  13. Don't get me wrong, I totally appreciate what has done in the past. The fact is he is now strangeling the club, holding us back if you like. His biggest problem is he wants the power without the limelight, hence he is not the Chairman anymore but can dictate what the Chairman can and can not do. He may well have done good things in the past but he is harming the club right now. If you're fine with that, then that's your problem.
  14. The other major difference that has been touched on previously in this thread is the context of the shouting. Ferguson will give someone the hairdryer treatment when they are performing poorly. That player is surrounded by world class players and his failure to perform seriously impacts on the teams chances of winning the league. When Brewster throws a hissy fit on the other hand, the question has to be asked is he shouting because the player in question is having an overall poor performance? Or is it because Brewster is making the player a scapegoat for his own failings as a manager?... After all, it's never Brewsters fault is it?... Edit: Just for the record, I'm not against managers shouting at players at all given the correct circumstances such as a player performing poorly or not adhering to the gameplan. I am against Brewster shouting our players down as I feel he is just making the players scapegoats for his own failures.
  15. Believe it... What's worse is he knows no one can do anything about it. HRC could cancel the lease on the land. They could, but just how likely is that to happen? As long as we're keeping up payments on the lease then they'd really have no reason to.
  16. That certainly makes me suspicious... Alternatively it could be a cleverly chosen username to throw folk of the scent. The club may well be able to control what is displayed at TCS, but they have no control what so ever as to what banners or flags are displayed on the road...
  17. Believe it... What's worse is he knows no one can do anything about it.
  18. Even Munro's been at it in the Highland News with the old "But the OF have more money than us" routine. The fans aren't angry at the fact that we were beaten, it's the manner in which it happened. It appears that the entire club have lost touch with the fans...
  19. I'd put money on Sutherlands pockets...
  20. It's pretty clear to me that Ralph Milne is employed by ICT one way or another. Not sure on his role yet, but I'll find out sooner or later... :thumb04: Perhaps Ralph would like to substantiate on his eloquent response with some reasoning? Or would that be like asking the BoD to do the right thing and sack Brewster?...

Stinks of "jobs for the boys"
  22. Maybe so, but the negotiations should have started long ago. If our DoF is supposed to organise contract offers, and Bennet is not doing this, what is he doing to justify his wages?

Almost exactly the sort of thing I've been wanting for years!
  24. I think the reason Wyness or his agent didn't speak out was possibly because Wyness had his fill of the crap going on at the club. Putting myself in his shoes, if I had a contract withdrawn like that and then had a move sorted within a week, I'd be in "couldn't give two hoots" mode.
