    Result V Hibs

Have me down for the home win I think positivity has increased exponentially among our support recently!
  2. That's exactly where I caught the picture. I think he kept going in the ditch hoping to get a lucky bounce out of it but it wasn't to be. Got a picture of the Escort Cossie chasing the Puma - He wasn't happy!! A lot of the better pictures I took are already on my Flickr account (link in my Sig) - haven't had a chance to add the rest yet. Duncan McGregor overcooked the square left a bit and needed to do a 360 with a bit of help from the spectators to go in the right direction again then he did exactly the same on the chicane before the end I was told. Not sure who it was that knocked the tree down on the chicane either, but I wish I'd been there to see it!
  3. I certainly didn't expect to be parking at the bottom of a snow-covered slope that's for sure. Marshalls were putting cars down there knowing full well they would get stuck. More could have been done to prevent this from happening. The tractor that pulled us out had a snow plough attachment on the front, so some snow could have been cleared to make a parking area. The cars didn't have to be put to the bottom of the slope, there was plenty of room in the field level with the entrance. Straw could have been put down. A good few hundred/thousand quid was made in parking charges. I think the people paying deserved better than they got. Fine if you weren't inconvenienced. I had 2 bored and starving kids with me. There was a pregnant lady beside me with a child. I'm sure plenty others had plans that had to be cancelled. I've been to a lot of Snowmans (Snowmen?) in the last 20 years and I've never seen such a shambles as this. Put me right off. Don't be ridiculous. Even if straw had been put down, the wet nature of the field meant that anything that wasn't 4WD would not have got out of that field. The only way it could have been improved was to either have more tow vehicles available or use a field with a gate at the bottom (you'd have probably got stuck there too). The staggeringly vast number of idiots who were putting their foot down in vein attempts to move meant that even the 4WD vehicles were starting to struggle. If you'd waited longer on the stage you'd have only had to wait 20mins tops like I did Anyway... Got a great picture of Tich McCooey stuck in a ditch just before the popular chicane at the end of SS2: A big well done to the spectators and marshalls who damn near had to lift him out!
  4. Spectator car parks are officially closed at SS1 & SS4 due to the amount of snow but if you are able to access the stage then you are welcome to do so - But be aware there is a lot of snow at the sides of the track making moving about hazardous. SS5 is cancelled as the exit from the stage is not safe.
  5. I'll be going to Meall Mor (first time there) and Corrimony (I know a cracking spot where there's a half mile straight coming down a hill going into a square right. A lot of cars mess up there, especially the RWD cars!
  6. Looks like it'll be a good one - good to see that the recession hasn't hit hard yet going from (what I think could be) a record number of entries into the rally. You taking in any stages TM4TJ?

    Foran

He was playing as striker for the final 10mins along side Rooney. Yes he was good at left midfield, however I felt he was far better up front.
  8. A very good question. All this trendy mock offence really gets on my nerves...
  9. You want specific examples of when I have seen him play well at centre back?... Jog on pal... Just ask any Pars fans about their memories of him at centre back.
  10. But Brown doesn't consider himself to be Scottish. He considers himself to be northern British...
  11. I'm going to join the "I can't see what the fuss is about" brigade on this one. To quote Frankie Boyles impression of Brown: "You thought Blair was a c**t?! Watch this...". In fact I'm pretty sure Brown will be more offended at being labelled Scottish than the one eyed idiot part...
  12. Esson Tokely Mihadjuks Munro McBain Kerr Morais------Vigurs------ Imrie Rooney Foran
  13. How so? Byrne is a terrible left back but IIRC he does a good job at centre back. More than what can be said for McGuire...
  14. Not really. I actually lost count of the number of times he was solely at fault for goals conceded. In fact in his last appearance for the club he played an integral part in shipping two goals to St Mirren... Fair enough he wasn't fit and should never have played, but surely he's big enough to stand up and say "I really don't think I'm fit enough to play". He'll do as cover for our cover (Jamie Duff & Richie Byrne) but should go at the earliest opportunity.
  15. The time to punt McGuire was a long time ago. He was alright when on loan to us but as soon as had a permanent contract, we'd have probably got more results if he hadn't turned up. Punt ASAP please.
  16. If we draw Celtic away - take them to a replay and then beat them, then get drawn against Rangers in the next round... That would be my ideal scenario... Ok, but the chances of that happening are slim to none. Even if we did draw one of the ugly sisters in the draw, the chances of us getting through can't be great. The alternative, a home draw against a diddy team like Airdrie, Dunfermline or Forfar - Beat them comfortably in front of a 2000-3000 crowd, proceed to Hampden play a lower half SPL club and we get half the gate. Even if we get beaten, the combination of what I've suggested beats taking just half the gate from a Parkhead or Ibrox draw...
  17. I fail to see the logic in wanting to cash in on the OF in the next round... If we draw someone we can beat, not only do we increase our potential winnings from the scottish cup anyway but we'd have another game to play with another half gate to take from Hampden no less!
  18. Agreed 100% This seasons shirt is one of the ugliest I have ever seen.
  19. I meant in the sense that he didn't give the penalty and only a free kick.

    Foran

Foran was getting his head to just about everything Esson sent his way from a goal kick! He was unlucky not to score from the terrible pass back to Combe and he put in an even better performance in the last 10mins of the game when he was partnering Rooney! What more do you want to see from him?! Incidently I think we have found the perfect strike partnership in Foran and Rooney...
  21. By definition, stating that RiGs reason for not travelling is lame, you are therefore criticising him. Quite how you think you're not criticising is a bit of a mystery...
  22. The winner from Airdrie Utd/Dunfermline will do me fine, home or away.
  23. Only for the penalty decision. Brines is easily one of the worst referee's to grace Scottish football.
  24. Quite sure? I mean, I was only having a go at Ralphie here if he was indeed Craig Brewster - but if he's not, where was the need for the personal attack on me?
  25. Quite hot under the collar for someone who's not Craig Brewster... Don't get me wrong, I am delighted that you're no longer wasting the time and money of the club I support 100% :thumb04:
