Attendances --crisis mounting?
That's up to you. I grudge paying over the odds for anything and football should be no different. It's not like I'm spending that same ?20 on watching any other team. I'm far happier keeping my ?20 to myself than spend it on watching dross, and end up being cold, wet, miserable and more often than not, downright angry.

Brewster
I'm looking at the facts and fail to see how my facts can differ so much from yours. Brewster is a fitness coach - he does this well. Brewster is not a manager. It was not Brewsters decisions that won us games before, it was Parks. Since Park has left, Brewsters decsion making has been laid open for all to see. Thomson was a successful youth coach at Rangers. Since then he has been unsuccessfully masquerading as an assistant manager. If he was successful (like Park was) that success would be noticable on the field. If you believe the spin around Park leaving then that's up to you. Wyness was not the worst player on the park against Falkirk(?) when his contract offer was withdrawn. Brewster made a scapegoat of Wyness over a very poor team display indeed. Part of the reason Wyness hadn't scored in four months at the time was due to injury.

Attendances --crisis mounting?
I didn't word my post very well at all. It was actually the poor quality of entertainment on offer for your ?20 I was getting at. 10 months of paying SPL prices to watch 1st division quality football will only attract customers filled with hope for so long before that hope disappears all together.

Brewster
The fact is, Brewster is not a manager. He is a fitness coach. When Park was in the dugout beside him, our team put on a performance that was at least watchable. It's no coincidence that since he has left, our form has been dysmal. Similarly, Thomson is not an assistant manager. Thomson is a youth coach. It's like playing a striker as a goalkeeper! So to answer your question directly, I honestly believe that anyone with reasonable experience as a manager would be better than our management team at the moment. So that begs the question, what attribute of Brewster do you associate with stability? Under Brew, we have had a very turbulent experience! He drove Rankin away, he then told Park to get lost, he offered Wyness a contract then withdrew the offer before Wyness had an opportunity to even pick up a pen! How many fall-outs has he had with Black now? Now after 100 or so games, how many times has he not taken responsibility for a loss? It's never his fault though is it? After Saturdays performance, we sit one point away from relegation but because we only ever lose by the odd goal that makes relegation OK does it? We need action from our Board of Directors and we need action NOW

Attendances --crisis mounting?
I doubt it's the weather that's keeping folk away! If that was the case there would be definite declines in attendances over the winter months every year. Last winter for example, I can't remember a game with an attendance below 3,700! The main reason is that money is tight these days. Spend that ?20 and watch us play dysmally or save it for a better cause? No brainer in my opinion! Weather will play a secondary role in keeping folk away though. The prospect of going along to a game on a hot summers day where we are unlikely to win is surely more appealing than the thought of the same game in the middle of winter?

In the words of the Clash.....
His ego has always been the problem, thwart him and you are out, as even some of the players have found out. Parky was pushed out because he had more knowledge, skill, compassion, and most importantly he had the respect of the players and Would NOT say YES to Brew, and Brew was not going to let this happen, Malky was brought back, because he makes Brew look good, or at least thats what Brew believes, take last weeks game, Malky spent more time facing the crowd sprouting P*** trying to convince us he knows what he is talking about, NOT Brews down fall will be he surrounds himself with a*** holes who have no experience or knowledge of the game, if he had the likes of Parky he could have bounced decisions off him, if he could get rid of the Look at Me I am the Manager syndrome, and share and listen to others including the players and their opinions he could go further, unfortunatly he has neither the mentality or insight to be able to see or understand this. A good manager has to be able to listen, and learn from others, every day, you need to be able to earn respect and this comes from respecting others, a skill that has to be learned. Take a bow!

In the words of the Clash.....
Course the board won't do anything. After all the member of the board who hunted Brewster down and allegedly* offered him a job before the job wasn't even available, wouldn't want to be made to look any more of a fool now, would he? *I thought I'd include the word allegedly in case the member of the board in question (you know who you are) reads this and throws a hissy fit.

5 home wins in the last 10months.
What a boring post. And that's irony for you

What Brewster has to say
Wyness Legend is a happy clapper and from the general drift of your post, so are you. How should myself and IHE get real, when the reality is we have won 5 times at home in the last 10 months?! I could be wrong here, but I think the those 5 times have been against Gretna and Kilmarnock. A sorry state of affairs when we have not beaten any other team at home in that length of time I think you can agree. The least Brewster could have done, was to accept the blame for the loss but he didn't, never has done and probably never will. He is the embodiment of arrogant. To coin a phrase you appear to know well, I put it to you that you should get off your high horse

What Brewster has to say
But Brewster can do no wrong apparently...

5 home wins in the last 10months.
Without Park as his assistant, Brewster is nothing more than a glorified fitness coach. Either we keep him on as a full time fitness coach, or we get someone in who can at least manage a football team. The board need to grow a pair before any more damage is done, Brewster and Thomson must go!

Dundee Utd Chairman Thompson Dies
Got to admire what he's done for his team. Big loss to Scottish Football.

Well I Never!
Include Malky in there and we could be on to a winner...

Cares enough to go to the games you mean ;) :018: Would anyone notice if Brew didn't go to games?...

ICT V KILLIE
How can you decide on hooking players after 65 mins when you have no idea how the game is going to go, what if Imrie is best player on the park at that time. Obviously I wouldn't hook him then. Thankyou for highlighting that point though, gameplans are dynamic - Take note Brewster...

Suggest a replacement
I'll take that job for 50% of what Brewster is earning. That way you can all rest easy that at least it's someone who cares about the team that's in charge.

ICT V KILLIE
--------------------Esson------------------------ Proctor-------Duff-------Munro------Hastings --------------------Black------------------------ Sutherland-------------------------------Imrie --------------------Cowie----------------------- -------------Wood--------Rooney-------------- Hook Imrie for Wilson on 65mins. That ladies and gentlemen, is how you select a winning team.

Brewsters Comments
Let's be fair about this, my granny has more tactical awareness in her pinky than Brewster, so what you're suggesting isn't too far fetched...

Tickets for Celtic Match
In your opinion. I did not renew my season ticket this season and it wasn't for financial reasons. The BoD should be ashamed of themselves but I fear they are likely to be smug with ?'s in their eyes. I await those who blindly defend the clubs decision...

Positivity
Why not? We share a lot of similarities with them, they are a similar age to us, They rose through the leagues just as we have except we have not bought our way to the top league. While they relied on their spending to stay in the top league, we are relying on our team spirit to keep us at the top. Although their success was limited, did they not finish 3rd in the SPL, appear in Europe and win the CIS cup?

Positivity
It feels wrong posting something positive like this but looking over some Wikipedia pages I came across this: Linkage It appears from the "all time SPL table" that we have collected more points in 4 seasons than Livi did in 5! Not only that but looking at the goals for and against columns, in the same time period and having a whole season less than them, they have only managed to score 20 more goals than us while conceding 111! Now I may be negative a lot on here, but I can't see us conceding 111 goals between now and next season...
-
SPL Level players?
Aye, Hibs got promoted in the 99/00 season and Brewster played for them in the 01/02 season.
-
SPL Level players?
Brewster played for Hibernian as well.
-
Dennis Wyness
You have to remember why he is no longer at the club though. Deserves a standing ovation IMO.

Tickets for Celtic Match
I agree 100% with this. Sell the tickets ourselves and tell the OF to stick their 5%! Given the number of OF fans in Inverness we'd have no hassle at all in selling these tickets.
