  1. McGuire and Rory should have gone in the summer. Djebi-Zadi should never have been signed. If Brewster hasn't gone before then, then Brewster should take January as the opportune moment to hand in his highly sought after resignation.
  2. Perhaps you fail to notice we have only gained 25 points from this year If the season ran from January to October, we'd be serious contenders for the drop. 2002/2003 - Motherwell finish bottom with 28 points 2003/2004 - Partick Thistle finish bottom with 26 points 2004/2005 - Dundee finish bottom with 33 points 2006/2007 - Dunfermline finish bottom with 32 points The simple fact is a season runs for 9 months. In 10 months we have amassed a whopping 25 points. How you can defend Brewster is astounding... I knew things werent good but that is amazing Those stastics aren't exactly fair, when you consider that there were no league fixtures for three of the 10 months. OK so compare our statistics to those of St Mirren, Falkirk and Kilmarnock on the 2008 Stats thread. The way things stand, we can only hope that Hamilton continue to languish at the foot of the table below us.

  4. Since when did what the fans think matter?... As for your second point, that was what I was referring to. A vote of confidence usually indicates patience is wearing very thin.
  5. The clubs silence is deafening... I fully expected to hear something today be it announcing Brewsters departure or giving him a "vote of confidence".
  6. You have completely misunderstood the point. If you have a poor manager or just plain don't like your manager, then it is highly likely that you are not going to perform well for them. As far as whoever your manager answers to is concerned, it is the managers job to do whatever it takes (within reason obviously) to get you performing well. Therefore the blame lays directly with the manager.
  7. Do you work well under a manager you don't like? I know I don't.
  8. Aye, sorry should have mentioned that.
  9. 2008 stats for ourselves, St Mirren, Falkirk and Kilmarnock (I feel we are a similar team to Kilmarnock and should be every bit as competetive as they are) Didn't see much point in including the stats for Hamilton as you only need to look at the current table for where they are and how they're doing.
  10. My apologies Chris, I got the impression it was me you were aiming it at. It's true that Brewsters failure at Dundee United has been cited by a few folk, but I really don't think that it is exclusively down to that.
  11. I thought the general consensous was that flunking at Dundee Utd made you therefore not good enough? Or is it one rule for some... I have never cited his failure at Dundee United as an exclusive reason for why he shouldn't be in charge here. The simple differences are Brewster has not once demonstrated that he alone has managerial ability. Our 7 game unbeaten run or however long it was, was orchestrated by Donald Park and not by Brewster. Gordon Chisholm on the other hand, has demonstrated he has managerial ability with far less resources at an inferior level. Given the players we have, I think he would do a grand job up here. Feel free to selectively quote what I have said though
  12. What does that mean? That means it doesn't matter a jot what us lowly fans think, it's up to one man and one man only. The only board meetings that would take place would be to inform all of the yes-men and puppets on the board what decision has been made. This would be the same man that offered Brewster a managers job at ICT before CC had even left his position. That was why Brewster had it written into his Aberdeen contract that if it just so happened that a team were to require his managerial services he should be released at the right price. Despite knowing that the job was Brewsters, the board saw fit to have a poll at a meeting with the fans on who they would like to see in charge at ICT. Nothing but pure spin to make us beleive that there were interviews going on with a "shortlist of candidates" and there was dialogue with Neil Warnock. To summarise, as I have posted many times here before, there is more wrong at ICT than just the management team. The problem goes to boardroom level.
  13. Just to really show us who is the master tactitian, I fully expect Brew to give us a master class with something along the lines of: -----------------Fraser------------------ Tokely----Proctor---Munro---Hastings Imrie-----McBain----Duncan----Cowie -----------Rooney---McAllister--------- He'll show faith in Fraser by demonstrating no matter what he does, his position is guaranteed. He'll persist with his blue-eyed boy in the centre of defence and he wont worry about any gaping holes or anything as trivial as that at full back. Naturally, Cowie and Imrie should play on their weaker sides. This will allow them to cut in more and whisper it: (Hibs wont know what hit them!) No room for Black I'm afraid, with so much quality to choose from there was always going to be someone who was disappointed. Rooney will be the perfect foil for a natural finisher like Rory. It really will be fish in a barrell time. Hibs will destroy us 4-0 and after the game Brewster will say how gutting it is to be on the losing side yet again. "We were definitely unlucky, not getting the rub of the green at all. Our boys need to show more conviction in front of goal, and generally be more focused. After all I'm only the manager, what more could I have done to prepare the lads? Credit to Hibs, they took their chances well. In no way, shape or form do I accept any sort of blame for that woeful performance today."
  14. Stevie Frail was a puppet, a yes man at Hearts. A yes man is exactly what we don't need at the club. There are enough puppets at the club already and that's just at the big table. Ian McColl would single handedly destroy our youth setup. That being said though, I will stick by my guns. Anyone and I genuinely mean anyone would be better than Brewster and Thomson. I'd like to see Gordon Chisholm up here but doubt it'd ever happen. I suppose there's only one man who'll ever make a decision as to whether 1) the current manager will be sacked and 2) who will replace him. And I fully expect the next manager to tick the "jobs for the boys" requirement box.
  15. Do you get off on talking about the rub of the green? It's got f*ck all to do with luck and plenty to do with Brewster being a f*cking disgrace to this club.
  16. So if we aren't a bad team (I sort of agree with you on that one) and we don't have a bad manager where does the fault lay then DBS? If that's your summing up of how we play football then all I can say is thank Christ it's not you in the dugout!
  17. Leave the club currently employing him?... In all seriousness, I can't see any reason for folk to pay good money for what's on offer at the moment. Of course we have fans based in Edinburgh, but I'll stick my neck out and suggest our lowest away attendance in the SPL at Easter Rd. If you were travelling by car ?30 quids worth of fuel plus a ?20 ticket + food and beverages. This of course is assuming you're going by yourself... A family of four for example will probably shell out somewhere in the region of about ?100 next weekend. And for what? To see a decidedly average Hibs side molest our defence? Colin Nish is probably going to play so you can stick at least a 1 goal deficit on there before we've even kicked a ball.
  18. Once again mr Brewster(Or ralph for the sake of the board) you come on defending yourself, you really dont like criticism do you,an arrogant big heed who cant see that it is you to blame, you dont have a clue about tactics, players or man management you really are about as bright as a 1 watt bulb, there's the door shut it on your way out I'm not convinced that "Ralph" is Brewster. I am convinced he is something to do with the club (higher up perhaps?) If I am correct, "Ralph" should sit up and realise that it is not only Brewsters head that folk are calling for. The BoD may have pulled the wool over many's eyes but there are those who realise that changes need to occur at BoD level in order for ICT to progress. Enough with the "jobs for the boys", Brewsters leaving will only be the beginning of the end for a few at the club...
  19. That's a monster of a PC! On a more serious note though, the clock speed of the AthlonXP 2400+ is 1.8GHz. To be sure, can you post the model of Time PC it is? Also what model of Acer screen are you selling? monitor is al1917w(so is 19" not 22) pc just has a serial no,cant see a model no Right OK, to sell a PC it helps if you advertise the full spec of it. Things like CPU - We've covered but I'm not convinced since you weren't even close with the clock speed. RAM - You sure it's got 2GB RAM? If you Run DXDiag.exe on your PC (It doesn't need installed it's already included in every windows operating system) Hard Disk Space - Click on My computer and give us the low down (is it one disk, two disks - what is the overall capacity?) Graphics - Again this info is available on the display tab of DXDiag's output - Who is the manufacturer of the card if it has one and what is the model number? How much Graphics RAM does it have? Anything else of note that is a good selling point? What operating system is it running on? The way things stand, you will struggle to get ?220 for it from anyone. I recently picked up an old Athlon 1800+ based Packard Bell system for free and have since turned it into a perfectly good home server. Realistically speaking you can expect around ?70-80 for the second hand monitor as well.

    Proctor

Is it not brutally obvious why Proctor was played yesterday? Brewster leaves ICT for Dundee United Brewster signs Proctor Brewster parts with Dundee United Brewster signs for ICT Brewster signs Proctor You do the math...
  21. On a similar note, Brewster gets verbal diarrhea whenever a microphone is put in front of him after a game.
  22. Can we afford not to? There's certain people involved with ICT who are quick to get the wallet out and splash the cash when they want to prove they are the big "I am" - The same ones who were responsible for Brewsters return. Let's see now if they are so quick to get the wallet out when it comes to clearing up the mess they have created!!! It will certainly be interesting to see if this transpires. I very much doubt he'll take responsibility though...
  23. Its a mix of optimism, realsim, common sense and loyalty. I take it in small doses after each game, but recently i've been taking them on a daily basis and especially after seeing this and various other anti-brewster topics springing up. I don't see optimism or realism in any of your posts tonight... I see grasping at straws and disillusionment. Brewsters days are numbered... And that's not something I'd keep to myself if I were to catch him in public...
  24. I'll have some of what ever you're on. Though perhaps not the same dose... It's high time more people voted with their feet until Brewster and Thomson vacate the premises.
  25. i'm not defending him to the bitter end jay and if you stood next to me at many games you'd hear me give him pelters from time to time with many others.just facing facts that i'd be amazed if the board ousted him at this stage, its not going to happen and he's definately being let down by a combination of luck and the players but things can change pretty quick in football He's definitely being let down by luck and the players? Sorry but that's utter pap. He's being let down by himself and the "assistant" he sacked Park to get in place!! Craig Brewster is the worst thing that has ever happened to this club and the sooner he gets forcebly thrown out of the door, the better. Quite how anyone can defend him at all is astounding!
