1. Thanks for clearing that up Fiona ..... seems straightforward enough .... buy one at £100 with the names on it and frame it because it is a 'collectors item', and buy another at £40 without the names and wear it (if Errea's inconsistent sizes permit !!!) .... oh well, time to start saving !!!

Oh grow up .... he was a confused young man who has now seen the error of his ways as he got older and wiser. :002:
3. Its a shame, but I think his mind was made up long ago. I wish him well (except against us). As has been said earlier in this thread (and in others), ICT did a lot to resurrect Dods' career as he previously had a reputation as anything but a solid defender, for making defensive blunders, and for scoring own goals etc. While ICT can perhaps be credited in some way with a turnaround in his fortunes, it has been a two-way street and we have benefited hugely from the fact that he has been so immense for us so i guess the books balance in that regard.
4. i think the comment was .... "oh dear"

thats what you call bad wind :015:
6. In the Cup home (SPL) clubs have to charge SPL admission prices unless alternative prices can be agreed with the opposition club. It is my understanding that Dundee United were not prepared to agree to reduce the adult prices and have only agreed to a limited reduction in concession prices. In this instance the club tried but were thwarted so lets not blame ICT for this one. For anyone that doesnt know .... [li]Main Stand – Adult - £25 & Concession - £15[/li] [li]North & South Stand – Adult - £20 & Concession - £10[/li] [li]There will be no family tickets.[/li]
7. funnily enough - i read that before complaining http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/sportscotlan...mon/faq.shtml#1 I think I got a non-standard or 'real' answer back because I pointed out to them that the game was not being blocked by ICT, nor was it being blocked by Hibs. I was able to tell them that I had checked my facts and they then admitted to their error, although for some reason, they cut out the online coverage at half time and at full time hence the lack of a full time report.

Sophia, thats your opinion and you are entitled to it, just as others are entitled to their opinions. I think you are unfairly generalising about people on here. Rosscoe has had nothing but praise on this board for years and this is pretty much the first season where his ability has ever been called into question. I would agree that some people are perhaps guilty of forgetting that he did not have a pre-season and that he has also been carrying an injury that might have sidelined other players but the very first post on this thread was someone saying "I gave him stick so now I am giving praise where its due". I would call that a pretty well rounded and honest posting. We seem to have a few categories of posters on this board 1. Always positive no matter what and players can never do any wrong 2. Usually positive and although hesitant to criticise players, do so from time to time 3. Realistic - give praise where it is due, and criticism where it is due 4. Usually negative and although hesitant to praise players, do so from time to time 5. Always negative no matter what and players can never do any right It would be nice if we could have a board made up of "3"s and everyone would accept that praise and criticism should be handed out in equal measure where merited, but the truth of the matter is that we have posters in each and every one of those categories and if you are a 1 and they are a 5 you are going to get some heated arguments - it doesnt make you right and them wrong, or vice versa, it just means you have differing opinions which you are entitled to. oh, and before you ask - I have always been a big fan of Rosscoe so am delighted that he seems to be getting back to his best in the last few games.
11. I believe he is registered, as are several other players.
12. Dargo injury confirmed by our very own Mr Bannerman as a dislocated shoulder.
13. actually think it looks pretty smart, will have to consider that one.
14. yeah - getting that too, should disappear at end of half time hopefully
15. and the thing is, we sound like we are playing really well .... commentators talking about flowing football, joy to watch etc etc .
16. just loved how the commentator was slagging him off about 30 seconds earlier and then had to say ... "goal. Roy McBain" and do a s***load of backpedalling :015: :015: :015:

19. Ok, now that we have tomorrow's game sorted out ... onto the rest of the games I think the Radio Scotland webcasts (when available) are excellent. I fully understand that there are certain games/teams whose games they cannot broadcast so they cant be blamed for legitimate blocking as that is all in the sponsorship/media arrangements. I would be happy to pay my share of the 'license fee' to be able to access guaranteed weekly coverage of ICT games if the BBC were allowed to offer a subscription service whereby they paid a proportion of the costs back to the clubs when covering matches that would normally be blocked. Obviously I like the free coverage I get now, but maybe a subscription could be an easy way for supporters of the 'other' team to listen to the commentary on the bbc legitimately without having to subscribe to a number of different websites of other teams. I would also be happy to pay a subscription to ICT if they could organise audio broadcasts. Kilmarnock use PTV to provide their commercial website as do Rangers and even the SPL itself. PTV DO have the capability to organise broadcasts (****, we could even do it if we made some changes/investment). In fact, this is the reason that Killie are one of the teams whose games are blacked out on the bbc - because they offer a subscription service on their site every week. If ICT did this fans everywhere could listen to the commentary each and every week ... including games against Celtic, Rangers etc
20. Fair play to the BBC - they sent me an email which said Hi Scott, This was an error on our part, and has now been rectified. Sunday's match will be available to all listeners. Regards, BBC Sport Scotland YESTERDAY TODAY
21. I think CC has made it pretty clear that Ike will get a chance to become the permanent first choice keeper. He has said that he rates him, the players rate him, and we can see from comments on here that the fans rate him. The rest is up to Mike. Sounds like the backup keeper is just that, a backup for Mike.
22. I dont use messenger so dont really know ...... but it does sound intriguing :004:
23. Aye, education isnt what it used to be, is it ? :003:
24. It's not just me .... we have quite a few fans overseas .... Also, from another perspective, if i cant hear the game, I cant record the soundbites I add to each match report :004:
25. Just realised that the ICT game is the only one where there are NO COMMENTATORS listed .... maybe they just cant be ersed broadcasting it to ANYBODY ?
