  1. BBC Scotland said Bayne now 1-2 , O'Brien
  2. 0-2 Bayne
  3. 0-1 Dargo
  4. Team lineups - a 3-4-3 for ICT by the look of it STIRLING ALBION [attach=1] ICT [attach=2]
  5. Spoilt for choice it seems .... My bet is on Ally McCoist for manager with Durrant as his assistant. Rookie manager McCoist would also have one or two 'old-heads' advising him. Failing that - what about Butcher who is reported to be ready to come back from Oz, or maybe IHE's favourite man, Richard Gough would like a go. In all honesty, none of them could do any worse than Le Guen who drove the final nail into his own coffin when he took action against Ferguson.
  6. fair comment. although it may be an option to rest one or two players who have had a busy time of it over the Christmas period and give one or two fringe players a chance.
  7. Scarlet - you cant argue with that post ... one of the longest thats ever been on any incarnation of this site, and unlike some of our mini-novels [:004:] its one that makes a lot of sense with some reasoned thinking from a fan calling as he sees it. Clacher - I am still 100% behind Charlie, think he will overcome the recent slump and go on in the coming seasons to keep us in the SPL as proverbial mid-tablers with odd forays higher up the table (and lower down). However I am also realistic enough (most of the time) to realise things can also go the other way. As someone who is also passionate about this club - even from this distance - I can appreciate the sentiments and legitimacy in every word you posted. I agree that he is a rookie with a lot to learn and unfortunately I simply cannot fault the (frightening) accuracy of your arguments and their consequences if we were to go in the other direction. I hope you are wrong, but your argument is indeed a reasoned and well thought out one.
  8. Fraser Caff Dods Munro Sutherland McBain Duncan Rankin Hastings Wyness Bayne SUBS (5 not 7) Brown Tokely Morgan Wilson Dargo Think thats adventurous enough, and it can easily be adapted to 4-4-2 without using a sub or to 3-4-3 by taking off one of the midfield and throwing on Barry or Dargo so that Barry or Denzil can play behind the front two if things go really well :) ... and with the subs listed the team can be re-arranged quite easily if Stirling were underestimated !!!
  9. This is what GOOGLE MAPS came up with for the journey from IV1 1FF (Caledonian Stadium) to FK7 7UJ (Stirling Stadium) GOOGLE ROUTE TO STIRLING ALBION GAME
  10. From "Binos MAD" From the South: Follow signs for Stirlingfrom the M9/M80 Northbound. From Pirnhall Roundabout follow signs for Alloa/St Andrews to the 4th roundabout and then turn left for the stadium. General: On leaving either the railway or bus station head past the new Marches shopping centre, when arriving at the Craigs roundabout(a) negotiate the underpass and take the road signposted for Alloa(Kerse Road).Keep on heading up that road-straight on at the first round about(b)through the traffic lights©at the next roundabout take the first turn-off then the first road turning left-follow this all the way to the bottom where you will encounter another roundabout and wil be able to see Forthbank
  11. Ferguson stripped of captaincy at Rangers and told he wont play for club again, perhaps transfer listed. Rae made captain. major disagreement because of results against Inverness and St Mirren
  12. Radio says 'will be the biggest story of 2007' - so its got to be Le Guen or Murray resigning, a huge world class signing or maybe they have signed a Celtic legend like Larsson !!
  13. radio coverage had Roy on the right and Barry on the left with Rankin in the middle although they mentioned that Roy and Barry had 'switched' so maybe Barry started on right .... who knows, but it was Roy who setup Bayne.

    Happy NewYear

Happy New Year to one and all - friends, acquaintances or otherwise :004: - Its not midnight here yet but most of our users are at least 30 minutes into it so hope the heads arent too sore in the morn :002:
  16. Dmacca - while you are probably right, there is absolutely no excuse for what he did today and we would have had more chance with 11 players on the park than 10 - even if one of the 11 was not Black. This player has crippled Charlie Christie's game plan once too often and has to go - either to the reserves for a lengthy period or out of the club completely. CC gets criticised for his gameplans and sometimes for his subs but he routinely has to use one of his 3 options to merely keep 11 players on the park because the little nyaff is acting up and has to be taken off before being sent off. We may not have won it today because of Stokes/Latapy but Black didnt help with his infantile antics.
  17. not a knee jerk reaction, just reacting to a jerk !! (meaning Black not you ;)). If his bookings were for his determination and tough tackling then fair enough, but most have been for temper tantrums or childish petulance. get him to **** until he can behave like an adult. This game is over so subbing Wyness and Bayne is more to give them at least some rest before our next game in less than 48 hours time.
  18. dont care how good he is, or how nice he is off the park - 21 yellows and 1 red in less than a season and a half means he has to go, or at the very least be dropped for a very long time, especially as most of these bookings are for temper. If he wants to behave like a kid, let him train with them
  19. merged topics.
  20. 21 yellow cards and 1 red in a season and a half - sorry, he has to go or be dumped in reserves until he can control his temper tantrums. If he was getting booked for tackles or something 'sensible' then fair enough, but I perish to think how many of these bookings have been for 'petulance'.
  21. Rankin playing wide right, Morgan on left

  23. SPL/Setanta probably complained because of copyright infringements.
  24. Basically, the 'new' info is to say that tickets will be available at Falkirk after 2pm on Saturday - as posted in a previous thread. Here is the main information: - Tickets available from Away Ticket booth after 2.00pm on match day - Adult £19.00 - Concession £13.00 (over 60 and under 16 only) - No Student Prices - Falkirk do not participate in the U-12 passport scheme.
  25. sounds sore : Ouch !! [attach=1]
