don't think you can criticise someone just cos they're slagging the team and i've heard folk singing we're $%?& and we know we are on occasions - and we probably are... however.... and i have posted this before... at a game against raith many moons ago i was sitting near someone who started making rasist comments about either Agathe or Andrews or maybe even both (that shows you how long ago it was...). i remember turning round and looking at them but never said anything. to this day i truly regret that. i would hope that i would have the courage to say to someone now and hope that they would take heed on the first telling. if not - i would certainly say something to a steward or police. it would probably mean that i would have to move my seat as i'm not particularly interested in making myself a target for someone like that... pretty sad that it should take place in the weeks when all clubs are supporting give racism the red card.... however, i do think it was a bit unfair mentioning the 'old firm' in this context as every team has it's morons in the support and them no more or less than others and we have a fair few too...

caley thistle have never had one though there was talk of trying to start one up about 1996 i think... personally i think it would be a good idea and there must be some bright journalistic sparks out there who could do a good job. caledonian certainly had one which was extremely funny called LSM - not sure if thistle had one...

  17. Then you really can't know too much about football. Lennon is exaclty the kind of player that every opposition fan "hates". He's like Robbie Savage, Roy Keane or Ian Black. His religion has nothing to do with it. It's who he is as a player. totally agree with RiG and Scotty here.... not a thing to do with what religion he is, where he came from or who he played for. reason he was disliked throughout scotland is that he was an arrogant sod who knew exactly what buttons to push to rile other players and supporters. many of you will recall the aberdeen incident - that hardly endeared him to their support.... :001:

pled guilty today and received a ?300 fine for possession of cocaine. not too sure of all the details yet but the judge accepted that it was a one off and an error of judgement. i'm sure this has been a big lesson for him - one that will never be repeated. i for one hope the club stand by him....
  19. there is def an ict tartan. i have a tartan scarf in it and at one point it was decorating the kingmills. the female staff also had tartan jackets. it was a kind of darkish tartan but not too bad...
  20. agreed GM when we played them first game of the season you could see they were a different team from last. well done to them - great game. now fingers crossed for the others this week
  21. Can't they get their current season ticket seats changed permanently? If they are not season ticket holders then they will have be first in the line to get the seats they want for the big games but that's not a major problem nor unreasonable is it? :004:

it was funny RIG but prob not appropriate in front of the family section nor in these times when someone could take offence and report the player to the police for indecent exposure....

  24. helpful stewarding at Celtc park??? :crazy07: :crazy07: that's a first. remember them on one occasion throwing out a 14 year old for looking at the top tier to the right of the away section where his cousin was sitting.... and then there was the time when we left last season after losing when a steward started on about us not been so super now... another team and comments like he made could have caused a riot. complaint made - no response. stewards at CP are employed by the club not be crock steady...
