  10. and i know that some of the other 'ultra' groups have a paypal account set up so that when they plan big displays folk can donate to the costs... but remember - you need to do these things right! as for the name? ultras is fine with me... :003:
  11. there was a crackin flag on the caleyjags site one time when we were at hampden - cant remember which time but i think we had the south stand that time. not sure who had it but think it might have been guys from either dundee or edinburgh - no idea who they were or if they're still about. maybe someone can have a wee look and post it and see what folk think?
  12. good stuff! must have taken some patience to write that! :004:
  13. soething else to thnk about is that a few supporters clubs and supporters trusts have a wee kick about before the big game kicks off. not sure how our distance away from other clubs would affect it but might be an idea.... early kick off on all counts... :004: :001:
  14. tbh and i'm not defending anyone here at all but i suspect that this is a bit of a smokescreen started by someone earlier. i'll bet my bottom dollar that a 'senior club official' did not pass on large numbers of tickets for the home end to the local rangers supporters club. if there were a block of folk sitting together i bet they all just came down at a specific time and bought 2 or how ever many tickets you were allowed each at the time. they may well have been folk from the town but i'll guess that they did that when they did not know whether or not they would get an allocation for the away section. they would then choose to sit in the away end and probably pass the home tickets on to someone else... it may well be that there are tickets put aside for the local old firm supporters clubs but i'll also bet they aren't for the home end... :sherlock2: :sherlock2:

  20. never really supported any team before ict although i've always watched it... being born and brought up in glasgow i had a vague affiliation to the jags - but that was just cos there was sooo much crap going on with the other 2. you used to go out and folk would ask first what your name was and if that gave nothing away what school you went to and if there were no clues there what team you supported.... hence the jags. used to go watch local teams in lewis as a youngster and then when i moved back to glasgow with work it was scotland. when i came to inverness i'd go to watch all three teams but probably more caley ones as i met folk there i knew. once the merger came there was no contest! been to games at pittodrie, celtic park and ibrox too and have had a wee soft spot for a few other teams down the years for various reasons. in england at the moment it's forest (cos their manager's good... :003:) and have always looked out for wolves as my cousin is a diehard fan and season ticket holder..
  21. The Directors do not receive a salary or dividend. have pm'd you....

  23. it's my folks golden wedding in the first week of july and we're heading to stay in the Royal York Hotel from monday 30th june to friday 4th july. looking for ideas of things to do bearing in mind that the age range of the group will be 4 in their 70s or not far off, 2 in the 40s and a 10 year old boy fascinated by history and war! my sister and i are also planning to take everyone out for a meal on the anniversary itself and wondered if anyone knew of any nice restaurants we could take them to. we'd be looking for something decent but not too pricey. someone mentioned Ate O'clock to us. is it good? any other suggestions?
  24. it's my understanding that the debt is still all there and someone is paying the interest one it though i know not who.... the stadium sits on a prime piece of land and the stadium trust was not set up out of altruism....
