10CC for director of football anyone??? While not a bad shout I dont see how a club of our size needs both a manager and a DOF, Levin manages to combine both at Dundee United and seems to do ok guess we could afford a half decent manager if we got rid of the one we've got... combined the 2 roles... :thumb04:

don't think anyone had ever stopped supporting the team as could be seen at the weekend game at hamilton. tons of fans in good voice singing cheering showing their support for the players on the park. however... i think when it became obvious that the manager didn't really have a clue about how to respond to hamilton's game (and only towards the end of the match) did the majority of the fans let their feelings to the manager be known... not too sure if you were there but there were some folk there who questioned the passion, support (and right to criticise) of supporters who travel vast distances to watch games just because they weren't season ticket holders was a bit rich when i suspect that they may get free tickets to away games.... there is no doubt that we will now see a resurgance of the old ict support, as always fully behind the team. but as IHE says there's more to the rot off the field...

could be a good stop for a game at fir park.... for an OF game it'd need to be an early start and bacon rolls for brekkie rather than lunch!! good idea though

You obviously haven't read too many of IHE's posts.... oh i'm slowly but surely making my way through them and as i said been impressed with his knowledge of things both on and off the park... wonder if he's the same in reality - or does he really exist???

know something? when i first started reading your posts i thought to myself - here's a man who knows what he's talking about. now i wonder if you're delusional....

watched this tonight and i don't think the difference in the kids behaviour is down to money at all. yes money in the fact that the kids were soooo disruptive that they had to have specialist staff to look after them and change their thinking and behaviour. Mrs jnr asked where their problems stemmed from. to me it was quite clear - from the home. you saw the wee boy kidding on he was drunk - his mum was an alcoholic. hitting - they'd seen it at home. language - they hear it at home. what difference did the school make? they set boundaries. made the kids chose which path they took, pointing out the consequences of the wrong choices, sticking to the rules if they did the wrong thing. they provided consistency. things these kids lack in their every day lives. no such thing as a bad kid - well there is the very very odd one..... it's very easy to say that schools should be responsible for kids behaviour but parents need to look to themselves.... coat...

Our biggest problem the fact that we can't get rid of the source of all of these problems until he's had enough. Unfortunately there are fans that simply won't hear a bad word said about him as well... But it is rotten to the core now. If ya own the orchard ya can get rid of the rotten fruit - unless ya dont want fruit fer the season only manure fer the next - or perhaps ya are looking fer a better crop in a few seasons. Or perhaps ya are all feckin inept ?? i like you!!!

my understanding was that there used to be 2 sometimes 3 buses going to away games. with no reference to things on the park i'm curious to know why folk don't use them now... and could anything be done to get more folk to use them in the future? looking for ideas...

as i've said before lizi there's always someone about that will do that to anyone - you're not unique!! keep posting - everyone's got the right to their own opinions...

this is not a comment getting at anyone but..... what could we do to make more supporters travel on the supporters club buses each week? :thumb04:

it's a fantastic gesture by the club and should make sure a great crowd's there. need to get behind the team at this time. i'm in both the supporters trust and the supporters club and i must say it's a bit of a shame to see a post like this at a time when we should all be sticking together.
