  1. Yeah I thought it was ten years service and you can only have one testimonial. Unless you play for twenty years ala Mr Malpas
  2. Addicote could have been so good And if your granny had baws..............................................................
  3. The standout ones for me: Paul Bradshaw Gary Farquhar (tho did he actually PLAY for us?) Darran Thomson Andrew Allan Sandy Robertson Liam Fox David McGinley
  4. Why? Maybe he just wanted to concentrate on playing and not be distracted by long drawn out negotiations. And? 1. Lots of people leave jobs everyday with no definite new job lined up. 2. Just because there has been no contract offers for Dargo in the press doesn't mean that there haven't been any, lots of contract offers are kept confidential. 3. Maybe it was an excuse, maybe it was the truth. It's not a new thing to use the press for your own advantage, and there will be lots more of it happening in the future. I agree with you that everyone will have their own opinion, as is their right, and these will probably never change. But he has to play the situation entirely for himself, or himself and his family. As stated, they might have had trouble settling in the highlands and maybe why he has decided to move with no clear indication of his next club.
  5. Really? That's actually pathetic
  6. But will he be? He still has a lot to prove at this level I feel, his record as an SPL striker isn't great and I'd be worried if all our hopes were pinned on Denzil next season. Don't get me wrong, nothing would make me happier if he made me eat my words but I just feel that he's not gonna be the saviour that everyone hopes.
  7. And you're perfectly entitled to your opinion. I just take issue with the fact that a player is instantly hated just for leaving. Yes, circumstances dictate how individual players are treated after they have left but a lot of people's attitudes appear to be that as soon as a player leaves they are an instant hate figure, regardless of how they left. I can remember Wyness being booed at Tynecastle after he left. I nearly lost it! :008: I can understand that the Dargo situation has dragged on for too long and that people are clouded by this but if you were to take his 12 goals away from this season , where would we have finished?
  8. I bet you weren't calling him a wee shyte when he was banging them in over the past two seasons! The arrogance of some people on here is shocking, "oh he'll never be as good as he was here!" How the **** do you know? He played two years for us and scored a number of important goals and I for one wish him all the luck in the world wherever he goes. And no doubt if he stays in the SPL the small minded amongst our support will jeer his every touch against us, just completely forgetting that without his goals we could have been a lot closer to relegation than we were. Get a grip and grow up! :008:
  9. The BBC are showing them I believe, although with one game kicking off at around 3am you'll have to be dedicated to wake up to watch it!
  10. Get a grip! Leeds pay premiership wages, I'd doubt if any Leeds move to scotland let alone ICT
  11. Yeah because i really enjoyed the trips to Dingwall this season! :017:
  12. John Motson - For those of you watching in black and white spurs are in the yellow strips!
  13. Dear Mr. Domenech, On behalf of the population of Scotland I would urge you to pick this world class defender at Hampden next Saturday so that we can all have the pleasure of witnessing his talents in the flesh. We all like to see the top players playing for ourselves and it would be a real pleasue to have him grace the Hampden pitch. Yours Sincerely, Ecosse
  14. Uruguay are the current Unofficial World Champions, although Scotland are the most successful team in this competition! Unofficial World Champions
  15. I'd be quick on the phone if your wanting a ticket, over 30,000 sold already!
  16. So why sign him? :017: Is it just signing for signing's sake? I can't believe we have signed this duffer, what has he got to offer? "Oh but he's played for Scotland" aye, 2 caps and a total of 83 minutes 7 years ago! Your telling me you'd rather have a 35 year old has been on the bench instead of a youg striker out the reserves? Yes McSwegan's got experience but how do you get experience? I'd much rather use the reserve and u-19 strikers as back up instead of 35 year olds signed for a year to take wages away. And if he's only back-up, why not take him just until January? That way he covers the "crisis" and we can get a decent striker in the Transfer Window?
  17. Steven Caldwell but no Stephen McManus, seems a strange one to me. And where's Riordan? He's not in either squad.
  18. Yup, it's the one your friend came out of! :015: Did you not spot that fine looking establishment?
  19. someones had an interesting summer :016: I deny all allegations!!
  20. I think the title of the thread alluded to it and the fact that you've called it his biggest test so far, losing one game. If you have no problem with CC then why even raise this topic? If you have no problem then there's no need to discuss it. And is this how you conduct all your discussions? I make a couple of points you don't agree with and you result to name calling, nice!
  21. Feckin ****!! :008: We lose one game and Christie's under pressure? Think you should go give up following football if thats your attitude to every defeat. How is it the biggest test? He's lost games before, and I'd much rather lose a couple of games now than when we need results in about 25/30 games time. I've seen some stupid posts in my time, but thats up there wi the best o them!
  22. It's one thing to play well in friendlies against much lesser opposition than to turn it on in the SPL. CC would have been looking at him as a player overall, ie how he is in training, how he conducts himself, attitude, how he fits in with the rest of the squad etc. He might not be right for ICT and I'll trust CC on those decisions, he is the manager after all. A couple of good games against part time teams ain't much good to ya at Parkhead or Ibrox!
  23. I'm guessing Parratt's not in the Scotland Under-19 squad in Poland this week then?
