I think its Brewster whose in need of reality check, in the league at home we've won once in eight feckin attempts.

Some praise for a change
That's just it Alex, teams usually raise their game when up against the OF (hence the flood of criticism after Castle Greyskull showing). Its not games against the OF that will shape how our season turns out but games against the likes of Utd at home, St Midden away and Dons at home. If we play with same style and committment in these next three games then definitely hats off to Brewster, in the meantime I still sitting on the fence

Reserve team players

YOUTH OVERKILL
Can't believe I'm sticking up for Brew but his team selection today was spot on. If Rooney's effort at start of 2nd half had gone in we'd had righty romped home today. A couple of defensive lapses and we concede two goals, nowt to do with Duff, Vigurs or Woods. V's Jambos I'd bin McGuire for Granty and we'll take 3pts thank you very much

Dennis Wyness
Totally agree, all is fair in love and war. For 90mins he's a St Midden player and as such we are entitled to hurl as much abuse as stewardship allows! At all other times his legendary status remains intact

Latest FIFA Rankings
What better incentive than knowing victory over Macedonia on Saturday followed by victory over Iceland the following Wednesday could see Scotland leapfrog Engerland* in the next listing of FIFA World Rankings *Assuming of course Croatia do the biz.... Olympic Football
BOA chairman Lord Moynihan seems convinced there will be a "Team GB" for 2012. Whether this consists soley of Englishmen or a composition of Brits remains to be seen. Surely a better option would be to bring back the Home Internationals in 2011, playing home and away with the winners representing "GB" at 2012? That way a British Olympic football team would not affect the privileges of the four associations as members of Fifa

Team for Burnley
I know it was only a friendly and thats the first time I've seen Caley play since CB returned but in my opinion Rossco is simply not good enough, Hastings didn't fair much better, Munro seems incapable of passing to a player in his own team and dont get me started on McGuire.... Totally agree with Exiled ICT complete lack of pace out there - on this evidence we are gonna struggle big time this season. For the first time since we won promotion to the SPL I am concerned for our survival. Anyway, on a brighter note, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Burnley and found the ladies most accomodating
