  1. Aye, well done lad. :025: Watch for Brewster signing him up for County. :023:
  2. I think an expanded league will shake things up a bit with more teams having a go at the bigger teams and trying to win rather than not lose. SPL quality players having to play Division 1 football? I believe it will work.
  3. It wouldn't be prudent to overspend which is what I think you are suggesting. Above all else the club must operate within its budget. The club really needs to develop sustainable revenue streams away from footballing matters so there is income all year round to support all the incentives you suggest. I think a 16 team league would freshen things up a lot and I'd wager there would be quite a few shock results from the newly promoted teams. A reduced league is anti-competitive so to speak.
  4. You do know that makes you a glory hunter, don't you? :D
  5. Really? :D I blame the Rocket Man! :D
  6. Barcelona FC, so loyal to the club they bought it.
  7. 16 tems and remove seeding from all cup competitions. All teams start at round 1 giving the smaller teams a boost in revenue and the bigger teams a run out with an occasional upset. Make the cups interesting with a Europa cup and Intertoto cup place up for grabs.
  8. Should've used :D hey ho. :D
  9. It's their flocking nature.
  10. That is another reason why I hope that County get promoted next year. Can you imagine the Central Belt whining! And Queens too if the set-up is expanded. no wait :D :D
  11. Sorry, but how is funny? Is it related to Dundee in some way? (Genuinely don't have a clue!) http://dundeebarryleighgriffiths.blogspot.com/ Get your teeth sunk into that, and all will be revealed. Reading it now. Fecking brillaint so far! Only down to the end of Chapter 2 as well! :D It's teckle! Billy likes futba!
  12. I'll bookmark that for later :D
  13. :D wtf? :D
  14. Last one out puts the lights off. :) :cry01: Seriously this season has been a truly eye opening one for me, like a rollercoaster of emotions. I didn't believe up until a few weeks ago now I just can't believe the position we're in. FANtastic. B)
  15. :) That's what Willis was talkin' about!
  16. Didn't realise Borough Briggs was sold out every home game ! if anything that shows their dedication to the cause... That's support for you That's poverty for you. How many of their support do you suppose don't follow another team in Scotland? Caley jags without the bus ticket? :)
  17. Oh the irony. :) The best footballing side is the one with the most points accumulated. End off. I'm not being complacent but 18 games without defeat is tremendous and is bound to end sometime, just not this weekend hopefully.
  18. The lyrics are wholly appropriate though. I get knocked down but I get up again, you ain't ever gonna keep me down. Ooh, I'm getting all warm thinking about it. Can't wait 'til Mayday.
  19. I prefer this. And it would sound pretty damned wonderful coming out of the PA tannoy at TCS before the Dundee game. And of course a bit of Beastie Boys for the Dundee faithful.
  20. Hey some of us couldn't drink because of our jobs. Made up for it later though.
  21. Agreed, let's get this one over with and then reassess.
  22. County have 6 games to play = 18 points to play for add 49 points they have = 67 points. Dundee have 4 games to play = 12 points to play for add 57 points they have = 69 points. We have 64 points. 3 to play. County and Dundee are not out of it yet, mathematically which is what this thread is about.
  23. No need for that is there? How many travelling fans did we have after we beat Celtic in 2000?
  24. 1-1 FT
