  1. I would argue that Jimmy is a victim of timing. Had ICT been around in the senior leagues when he was a "young" keeper and put in performances such as we witnessed on a weekly basis against teams both big and small I am sure he would have gone a lot further. Lets not forget that as a 'lower league keeper' he did keep both Nicky Walker (a former international) and Les Fridge (ex Chelsea and St Mirren in the top flight) out of the team !!! Good luck to all these youngsters ... the only one I have heard of is Polworth, due to his publicity at getting into the Scotland Youth setup and also because we all pretty much know of his dad, but I am willing to listen to others that say they all have a good chance and hope they manage to grasp it with both hands (especially the keeper :party01:) Jimmy was never a "young" keeper, he was a young centre forward and Alan Rough was slim when he started out.
  2. For who though?
  3. two words ........ Jimmy Calder !!!! Ok slim, I typed that then thought better of it. Jimmy didn't start off that size. Full time training will benefit the lad.
  4. The best player in the world has been told this in the past. Did I hear a whoosh? Great to see the youngsters return to the club after a years absense.

  10. I hope you enjoy supporting your national team in South Africa as much as I enjoy supporting their opponents.
  11. I thought Pele's thoughts on loyalty were topical considering Tokely has been our most loyal player. I hope he stays but if not he shouldn't be criticised.
  12. Interesting article from Pele (the other one). Pele: Loyalty, Greed and the Universe
  13. The hat and scarf in question, remain on Everest I believe.
  14. If you want bukake I suggest you look elsewhere. I have a brother living in Texas, so I'll be supporting USA on saturday.
  15. I prefer this one. Not that I'd be buying one at my age though.
  16. So you support ICT for a laugh then?
  17. Am I the only one who thinks that is a bit ironic? Perhaps you should be
  18. Can we add Strathspey Thistle to the swear filter please. :D
  19. Chick has an Algerian great-grandmother on his mothers side and a Slovenian Uncle on his fathers side. I'm sure he'll be checking his geneology for more distant relatives as the tournament progresses but hopefully he won't need to. :) This is why some of us refrain from buying a TV licence.
  20. Dammit, I knew I used too much bait. :P
  21. You ethnic minorities want everything your own way don't you. It's bad enough you elect our government.
  22. I would not be surprised if a certain Mr Leighton were to join the staff at ICT. That would be something, 3 internationalists on the coaching staff. How many SPL teams could boast that? 223 caps between them. :P
