In the Catalan region of Spain, healthcare is miles ahead of the UK, Education is excellent, Roads? well if they see an obstacle the build a bridge using standardised supports or build a tunnel again using standard components. Public transport is unbelievably cheap, accessible and reliable, refuse collections are every day (for health reasons) including Saturday, Supermarkets are closed on Sundays, Sunday is a family day where generations gather every week which has held the fabric of family and community values together. Taxation? Around 11%. They also get more sunshine. And a decent football team (Espanyol :( )

They are applying for planning permission to expand to all seater status which is a prerequisite for admission to the SPL. If they don't have this permission they would not get admission should they qualify in the league. This is a sensible approach by County, they would likely have to groundshare in their first season which as we can confirm is not a good option. The sooner the ground is up to spec the better. I concur with Mantis about the bridge though, it could turn out to be a safety issue when the big guns are playing. Good luck to them, they've got a better set-up than us now and are flying high.

Och i dont see the harm in it , theyre only having a laugh & anyway i'm sure many of us do things we shouldnt at work ! If a member of your family was in an accident and the ambulance needed a polce escort to clear the path to hospital, how would you then feel? Not ridiculous if they should have been elsewhere. If they got a shout would they leave one at the bottom of the hill and then be a man short or would they take an extra 5 minutes to respond? The riot shield would no doubt be covered in scratches rendering it unfit for service. Emergency services are paid for by us to do a job. They can have a carry on when they're off duty using their own sledges. We pay their wages, we can't sledge at work so why should they?

A stick on chip issued by DVLA with your road tax to fix to your car and a reader on every pump nozzle would be the simplest solution and could be implemented quicker allowing untaxed, uninsured and/or non MOTed vehicles to be excluded from fuelling.
