I'm interested to know what income bracket DornochCaley thinks the working class fill, and what income bracket his "upper" classes fill. Ideals are wonderful but when it comes to practice they fall down. I'm a supervisor and my staff earn roughly the same as each other. The quality of work they do for me ranges from unacceptable to exceptional. Human nature being what it is, after a few years of a communist system it will stall. We will not do others work for them indefinitely without reward or recognition while they reap the same benefits.

In my opinion Butcher is no more than a tradesman in much the same way as many of our players are. They're not going to set the heather alight but will do a decent job on their day. Unfortunately for Butcher, when it comes to management when you do a poor job everyone notices and when you do a good job no-one notices. The jury's still out.

Even though he is more than capable of playing in this division? Absolutely, he could make a massive difference to a club like Elgin, not so in the First Division.

On which subject, does any one know where you can buy an old fashioned "record player" these days? I have loads of vinyls but nothing to play them on since the old one clapped out a few years ago. By old fashioned do you mean Hi Fi seperates? My mum has my brothers Linn Sondek LP12 in the loft and has done for years. The stumbling block you may have is stylii.

I voted yes but realistically Barry should be looking at the likes of Elgin. He still has something to offer on the field but his experience could possibly be better used in the dugout. I would dearly love to see him pull on an ICT top again but doubt it will happen.

Previously known as "The Other Record Shop", I used to head up there from college at lunch time to play the state of the art video games (asteroid & galaxion) and be late back for class. Record shops are going to fade out as electronic media moves online. The few that will remain will be for collectors and anoraks.

I was just pointing out that we have a colourful past ourselves. As have France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, in fact if you go back through history most countries have had an unjust war and/or oppressed/exploited another. We are all as bad as each other.

Before criticising other countries for their foreign policy you should possibly read up on the history of our own nations treatment of foreign countries and their indiginous populations.

Agree 100%, if there was no money for Marius' wage then where did the cash appear from for Barrowman? pissup, brewery, etc., etc.

If the man who reportedly recruited Marius been part of the decision to "let him go", I doubt that this fees mess would have happened. It did happen so I blame the man who carried the DVD into TCS. :D

There are 2 actions at present, The one that FIFA have ruled in Marius's favour for 142,500 Euros and there will be a hearing in Feb next year in the Civil courts for a further 100k Euros. Not a bad bonus for a years work.
