  1. Sure it wasn't highly UNpopular. No way the majority of fans wanted him back after such miserable failure.
  2. ...said nothing really...
  3. Hmmm, not too sure about this one. I remember his time with Spurs, where there just wasn't any tactics other than run forward. I need convincing.
  4. Imrie's been one of our best attacking players in a system where getting to the byeline has not been the tactic. If he's third division standard, how come Jim Jefferies wants him?
  5. I took ICT into the top 6* and am currently holding Cardiff steady, despite very little budget. I'll be pleased to return to Inverness if appropriate compensation can be worked out. (* thought best not to mention that relegation I got sacked for)
  6. Have to agree with Ralph (who is he then? Malky?) about Donald Park. Sometimes two people just can't work together. That's it. Not necessarily a blame game. Just a clash of the way things should be done. As for training, I can imagine the likes of Munro, Tokely, Duncan etc probably benefited from the uber-fitness regime. For Black and Imrie, touch is far more important to their game. Seems as though that wasn't addressed. Really needed, if not Donald Park, then someone in that way minded.
  7. The manager needs to be here in days. I doubt we could get the compensation sorted and all the moving etc done with an already attached manager. Yah, boo, yer granny sucks eggs!
  8. What has Craig Brown ever done in club football? And again, why Stevie Frail???
  9. Got to hit the ground running in this the most challenging of times. The manager has to be totally committed and willing to work hard straight away. Robbo, Christie or perhaps Pele. Can't see anyone else in that category.
  10. You can just imagine it... "where's the money, Grassa" "lost it all!" "how? you selected Ian McCall!" "I know but Robbo was such the obvious choice, I couldn't help myself" "back to buying from Ross County?" "Nup, lost it all. Erm...how are Elgin City doing these days? Any strikers?"
  11. Hi, not sure where the 'ill-health' stories are coming from????? Ill-health as in pyschological illness. Quite well known his demons of drink and gambling. No idea what place his head is in to these days. BTW, the voting's working again. Why Steve Frail? He's only had one manager's job, where he was awful. Honestly, why?
  12. Charlie did give an interview some time ago about how he didn't resign due to pressure and that he fancies another crack - even being prepared to move away to another club to make that reality.
  13. 'Ralph Milne' mentioned Dargo a few times (check his posts). I'd be surprised if a move wasn't on the cards
  14. Can't seem to vote but I'm going for Pele or, if ill-health precludes, Robbo.

  16. P&J are saying Barry with Robbo his assistant. I would've thought the other way around myself... http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1036984
  17. I didn't think Tokely said anything too bad about Robbo. Quite the opposite. He just wouldn't be drawn on who the board should pick. Given that Black has said about training in public, who do you think the source was? Could be black again but why?
  18. Collins just took up a position in Belgium a couple of weeks ago.
  19. dont talk drivel. you obviously do not know the guy I don't. What do you mean then?
  20. When did Robbo fail at Hearts? 'Coz he left rather than be mad Vlad's plaything? Did Burley also fail at Hearts? Did Fergie fail because he was sacked at St Mirren? And what lifestyle is wrong? Coz he's a bit overweight? Always has been. Seen Paul Sturrock? Huge! Great manager though.
  21. Incoherent babbling
  22. I doubt he ever realised that. Look at what he said about Dundee United. It was all about Levein getting success from his work in bringing in the players. One thing our Craig never doubted was self-belief.
  23. I take it Craig was trying to bring Dargo back then.
  24. I would bring fit players from Latvia as long as I get the half time pies!!! now it is coming together, IHE psychologist or Psychiatrist, only asked!!! Actually, most of us are a bit more interested in ICT staying up than your posts on here about Inverness not signing Latvians. If they're good enough, show them to the next manager.
  25. Was Butcher a failure everywhere? Coventry - guided them safely from the relegation zone, whilst making a profit from the club - a surprise sacking. Sunderland - kept them in roughly the same position they were in but avoided the threat of relegation, so average. Motherwell - successful. Brentford - have you seen how many managers they go through? No time to establish his own team. Sydney FC - a director calling for his head after a fortnight? Again, what hope was there? He wouldn't be my favourite but I think his poor management skills are grossly over-exaggerated.
