  1. [move]WE'RE 13 POINTS OFF RELEGATION!![/move]
  2. BBC Link "We are taking in three games tomorrow across Scotland with a view to looking at three players in particular and it would be nice if one of them made a real impression," :024: any ideas??
  3. To be fair mate you were going on about managers playing at a high level.. anyway as it stands Mourinho 41 Benitez 45 Wenger 57 Fergie 65 Chirstie 40 So he has a few years on a couple of them anyway. I never said Christie would be as good as any of these and was obviously using them as examples... Is that the standard of manager you expected at ICT?? Is this why you are not giving him your full backing?? Another thing similar to Christie's appointment that is consistent with Wenger, Fergie etc. is that they were all doubted by their fans in their first season... are you going to be one of those "fans"?? I have already had almost the exact same conversation with Midge, Sandy, Bonzo and tbh can't really be ersed going through it again... so you have your opinion and I have mine, let's leave it at that??
  4. You obviously ignored my last post re Wenger etc. who also have not had 15 years experience playing football at the top level... so if they can hack it in, arguably the best league in Europe, then I'm sure CC is at no disadvantage. Yes, the job might have come too early for him but you could easily say that about Robbo and Brew but yet they have not received half as much stick as Chirstie has... Name the top 4/5 managers of all time.... then count how many years they were in charge of their respective clubs... success comes from persistency and if we have a manager that cares for the best interests for this club and is giving his all then he is going to learn more and get better the more seasons he is in charge.... it really is as simple as that! I believe that knowing the club inside and out is a more attractive resamay than half the journey man managers that were on offer at the time... not to mention, as you have, the loyalty issue we have had to deal with on the last 2 appointments. "why do you support him so much anyway" because I have had no reason not to... I will give the club and manager every inch of support I can, I have done since I had my first season ticket in 94 and will continue to.... call it blind faith if you want but I think CC is doing his up most to make ICT into a major SPL club and although mistakes will be made along the way... criticising his appointment isn't going to help.
  5. He was immense today my MOTM
  6. Eigh we sit behind you lot... banter is generally good in section E but it's about time the rest of the stadium joined in
  7. :015: :015: Fair enuff but the midfield was well balanced today, Duncan played the holding roll well while McBain, Rankin & Wilson rotated
  8. I don't think anyone actually wants rid of Ian Black but how CC is responsible for him being a mouthy **** is beyond me... Black needs to sort himself oot. It's all very well saying that Scholes, Parker, Keane, Savage etc are important players to the team but maybe temperamental if they are getting carded for trying to win for the team... Black seems to be more concerned with being the centre of attention at the moment.. which is no use to any team
  9. I think CC had the team set up specifically to win at all costs so that moaning ba5tard IHE would have nothing to complain about.. obviously it didn't work
  10. The first half was the best performance I have seen from ICT all season... Wyness and Bayne were superb and Rankin always looks dangerous. 2nd half we were a bit too defensive but it's natural to sit back after having a 2-0 lead your not sure whether to defend it or leave yourself open by going for a third. Great start to the year... lets hope it contines Broonie... what a save :010:
  11. Charlie has sat in the background while Robbo and Brewster were in charge and had a very close relationship with Pele when he was in charge so that's where his experience is. CC has progressed with the club and cares for it more than any other manager ever could, he has definitely made some wrong decisions at times this season but he will ultimately learn from them and I personally think he will be at the helm for a very, very long time.... so all you doubters get used to it!!
  12. Have a good one everybody, see you all 2007 :001: :001: :001:
  13. my way is better :016:
  14. Take the second turn off past the big prudential building.. drive past the delight that is the Raploch... you'll come to a small roundabout then 2 big ones, go straight on passed all of them and you will come to the industrial estate keep driving and you should see signs to the stadium Google Map
  15. :025: :025: :025: I was going tosuggest the exact same thing
  16. agree completely ..... I think our fans need to remeber where we have come from and not over react to a bad result, especially after praising the team heavily for pulling off an excellent result against Rangers
  17. by the castle, you honestly needing somewhere to stay?
  18. maybe Black is a wee fanny that needs a reality check?
  19. IHE talks out his
  20. IHE I didn't have you down for a boo boy..
  21. as has been said already CC is learning, just as every manager has to.. you mention players not playing at a high level not being good managers.... how about Wenger, Mourinho, Ferguson, Benitez... etc. etc. I have played under many a manager that I have not got on with and not agreed with tactics implemented but ultimately I knew it was down to me not letting the team down... a manager can only do so much and yesterday I thought we were in set up well...
  22. 10 men went to moe... quality chant :003:
  23. he was good but only because we let him be.... I'd certainly have him at ICT but he's no Henry
  24. :015: CC is god.... CC is the messaih.... CC is Father Christmas.... will I book you a Travel Inn?? :016:
