Start charging the players?
Don't get me wrong I think Latapy is a great player and would love to have him in the team but if ICT are going to progress as an SPL club then we can't be looking at a 40 yr old player, when we are clearly trying to rear our very own Latapy in Ian Black. Black will hopefully give us a few years of service on the pitch and if he did move on we can hopefully obtain a decent fee. ICT are only going to survive as a club if we look to lower divisions and our own youth system, we do not have the resources to buy the better players from clubs in our own division and probably never will. Anyway, as I already said our problems are on the wings not in the centre of the park.

Dargo Airs his Views
He should be fined by the club for speaking out of turn

Striker in January?
was only jehsting but he could probably do a job for us... Willie McLaren is another young winger i'd love to see in the team.... infact anyone that can hit the byline and put in a cross

Start charging the players?
:006: that's what Rankin was bought for and what Black was trying to do yesterday... how can you go on about progress and then suggest Latapty being the answer?? The truth is that we were poor on the wings yesterday full backs and out wide they played a 4-3-2-1 formation with their wide 2 acting almost like another 2 forwards that is why we were caught on the break so often and why our only 2 real chances in the game were when McBain and Wilson made use of the extra space and crossed for Bayne to head the ball.

Give Brew a chance?
If he came back I don't think I could face going along every week... not exactly a sign of progress

Striker in January?
We should bring back Sheerin.... guarenteed goals from midfield

"Charlie Isn't The Man For The Job"
O YE OF LITTLE FAITH Although yesterday wasn't the best let's put everything into perspective here... Christie has picked up far more points during his career than Brewster did. Our home form, which was the major problem last season, has been a lot better and we have just played all the 5 teams in the league apart from Rangers... we aren't exactly scraping the barrell here Sophia, Midge, Bozo, Sandy... where are you getting these high expectations from because we are currently doing better than we ever have done before :017:

The bottom line
I don't like the guy but he's gpt a point :016:.... some people need to realise it could be a **** of a lot worse and although yesterday was a very poor performance we aren't walking the green mile

A Four Letter Word for Todays Game..................
That truly was pish Motherwell sat their defenders deep and asked for us to show what we could do and we answered with a big fat zero. There was times when I was watching the game and I thought they had an extra player than us we were mince... in fact kencar hits the nail on the head "spineless" Broonie Can't complain Tokely Should have been sent off after his 2 footed challenge and didn't do anything to redeem himself after that... woeful Dods Was all right until he committed suicide, never deserved MOTM but to be fair there weren’t exactly any real candidates Munro Decent enough Hastings Caught out of position all game and gave the ball away anytime it landed it at his feet Wilson Looked very old today, and how he managed to miss that 1 on 1 with Meldrum?? Black Can't fault his effort but constantly gets caught out of position... was probably one of our best today though Duncan Probably the reason it seemed Motherwell had an extra man, was anonymous most of the game and then every so often he would pick up possession only to pass the ball straight back to the feet of a Motherwell player.... can't see him starting next week McBain Considering he has not been my favourite player this season he was one of our better players today Dargo Didn't really get any opportunities to do anything... strange time to be substituted Bayne Looked like the Bayne of last season... headless chicken Subs Hart Looked sharp whenever he got the ball, obviously desperate to get a start in the team and hopefully will get a chance next week McCallister I gave RIG some abuse for slagging Christie's choice to bring Rory into the game and hoped he would do something to prove me right but alas with him and Bayne upfront we had 2 headless chickens instead of just one Rankin Didn't get a chance

Unfortunately I can only give you examples from the net I can't introduce you to people I know... I thought it was almost common knowledge or else I wouldn't have brought it up trust me. I never expected I would be accused of being a liar even after giving you that 4-4-2 article which, if anything highlights the fact that there is/was issues between the 2 sets of fans. as I said already I can't really do much else...

How will we keep Skippy and friends quiet?
Broonie Tokely Dods Munro Hastings Wilson Black McBain Hart Dargo Bayne Motherwell will be fired up for this after beating Falkirk but CC must realise this is where we need to pick up points. Next 4 games Motherwell (h) United (a) Kille (h) Dunfermline (a) :005: 12 points anyone??

Christie comments
It's a lot better than listening to Brewsters "eeehhhh well eeeehhh I think we won because eeeeehhh we scored more goals" There is nothing wrong with trying to be realistic and judgingby some of the posts on this board it is probably a good thing he is lowering expectations

23 :006: Scotsman "Also, Hearts have a far bigger problem with sectarianism than Celtic do. Celtic fans aren't saints, but thanks to the bigoted little country they live in, they're far often more the victims of sectarianism than the perpetrators." Scotsman Have a read of the comments at the bottom of the articles, I don't agree with a lot of stuff that is being said but still gives some sort of examples of what I mean

Your history lesson is correct, but justify your above statement. Show me one report of sectarianism connected with Hibs in the past decade? :018: Are you trying to tell me, being a Hibs supporter, that you know of no Hearts or Hibs fans that have sectarian opinions?? I find that hard to believe.... I stay in the central belt and know of at least 2 Hearts fans that would happily admit their hatred for Hibs fans and not just because they are city rivals

**** sake get a grip do you need written statements? :006:

A simple "ok I see you have a point" would be sufficient :014:

Some more light reading for you all.... from 4-4-2 magazine HEARTS v HIBS IS THE SECOND OLDEST city derby in British football (Nottingham takes gold), but the clubs have vastly differing roots. Adorning the reception area at the refurbished Easter Road, a wall plaque confirms Hibernian's humble Irish Catholic roots. Formed in 1875 by members of the Catholic Young Men's society, the club became linked with the Leith area of Edinburgh, home to many of the city's Irish immigrants. Hibernian's founders were openly sectarian and unashamedly political. The club was originally - but no longer - an organisation for Catholics only. Their shirts sported the slogan Erin-go Brah (Ireland for ever), highlighting the club's Home Rule leanings. In Unionist Scotland, the club was viewed with suspicion, and Hibs' initial application for SFA membership was refused because it was deemed to be an Irish and not a Scottish club. As the early champions of Irish Catholicism in a Protestant Scotland, the Edinburgh club was keen to go forth and multiply; indeed, Hibs played the part of the midwife when Celtic first drew breath in 1888. The Edinburgh club assisted its Irish cousins in Glasgow financially, practically and morally, and was repaid when the Parkhead side usurped Hibs' place in Scottish football history. Celtic's early success rankled with Presbyterian Scotland, provoking a reaction in the shape of Glasgow Rangers, who soon found themselves the footballing Protectors of the Faith in Glasgow. In Edinburgh, meanwhile, Hearts' local rivalry with Hibs meant that, almost by default, they became the city's 'Protestant club'. The romantically named Heart of Midlothian, named after the old Tollbooth under the tower of St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, and borne purely from sporting motives, is uncertain about its age. Officially, the club claims its birth to be 1874, but some evidence suggests that it may well have been a year later and, indeed, after their rivals. Although (as I stated earlier) it is not half as bad as the goings on in Glasgow it still does exist..... Happy??? More???

Best Part Timer
Marco De Baros :016: I'm sure half our current squad were part time at one point or another but would say Alan Hercher although that would require a lot more than just full time training :015: Christie obviously!!
