  1. "It was such a pleasant surprise to pick up the award. The players deserve a great deal of credit for it because for the last six weeks they have been doing the business on the park and getting the results. The award is not just for myself and the playeers but for everyone at the Club as we are all in it together." ICT Off Site? There's your praise for the players then!!!
  2. David Pleat is like the Archie MacPherson of England, he talks absolute pish but is tolerated because he is an old senile bar steward!!
  3. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: Think I need to take my own advice in future obviously posted before full time :023:
  4. See what happens when you all get ahead of yourselves!!! Celtic 1 Hearts 1 :014:
  5. Ah well didn't last long 2-2 now :017:
  6. :015: I've been practicing, just waiting for the oppertunity to put things right :004:
  7. 2-0 away against Morton... :010: :010:
  8. Off to a good start then... already 1-0 and who else but Bavidge :015:
  9. maybe it just urges them to make more effort to impress him???
  10. :015: Any idea what position he plays?
  11. :025: :025: :025: Superb! :003: :003: :003:
  12. Anyone seen anything?? I see that they have give Stokes young player of the month but can't find anything about manager????????
  13. Exactly - so why change it? Likewise, you along with others have been very positive towards the teams eprformances and rightly so but the formation has to be changed? Doubt it. Is this a hint of boo boo coming out here Gary? :016: And I totally agree but you know the best way to do it? Pass the **** ball and get rid of this long ball stuff. Mind times when we came up against Hibs - the best passing team in Scotland™ - and we have destroyed them? By out passing them and we did this with 4 - 4 - 2. That's what we do best when we play to our strengths. So lets do that! :001: I'm no boo boy nor happy clapper just say what I see and try to support the team when they need it!! I can see what you are saying about the "don't broke don't fix" 4-4-2 but my point is I think it is broke and has been for a long while at home. We have done well over the last few games but our away form has always been good but since Brewster was at the club 4-4-2 has not worked for us at home(especially against Aberdeen). I can understand us trying to keep the game tight when we are struggling at the bottom of the league but when we are doing well why not have a real go????
  14. Didn't help when watching everytime a foul was called before he had even seen the incident properley Tyldesley had it called as Chelsea. Drogba was a disgrace all game... don't get me wrong none of the Barca team are saints but Chelsea were obviously told to break up the play so Barca would never get going I struggled to watch!
  15. I don't deny the guy is a very clever manager but if he needs to rely on upsetting opposition before every match he can't be that good a football manager. Notice he only ever does it to people that aren't likely i.e. Rijkaard, I'd love to see him have a go at Ferguson he would be taken down a peg or 2!! Considering he was slating Barca for diving I thought Chelsea (Drogba) were a lot worse last night. Gudjohnson was a loyal Chelsea player and fan, for Mourinho to slate him to the world just shows how under hand his tactics really are... I hate the guy, hope he never wins the Champions League with Chelsea & Man U get the league this season
  16. ... and if I was playing FM07 my formation would be Broonie Tokely Munro Dods Golly Duncan Black McBain Hart Wilson Dargo :003:
  17. I could quote you on 3 or 4 different threads saying how the team aren't playing well but are picking up points. It's only a matter of time before we are found out, especially at home when we have come up against Dunfermline & Falkirk who are 2 of the poorer sides in the divsion and have only scraped past them. The team has obviously done well to get where we are at the moment but it's time for us to have a go at a team for once and properly break this home form curse. That's why!!
  18. Was thinking about posting something similar... he really is a erse
  19. 1 of his players is probably paid more than our entire squad... **** right I'd complain!
  20. Brewster isn't fit to clean the player's boots!!!!!!
  21. I'd love to finish work early on a Friday and travel down to sneck for a game to kick off the weekend... only on the occasion though, I think it wouldbe a major improvement on Monday night football!! :006:
  22. We scraped past Dunfermline with a late minute winner, we had to come back from 2-0 down to win against Falkirk & the 2nd half "performance" against st mirren wasn't exactly flowing football. I think Wilson & Charlie have both been quoted saying that the performance against St Mirren was not good enough and I'm sure CC would have noticed we weren't in the game against Falkirk until he made the changes. Charlie is in an ideal situation at the moment, in that he has got us enough points away from the bottom of the table that we can actually have a go at a team for a change and even if we did lose because of him trying something different it would be forgiven by the fans because at least he is trying to bring the game to another team for a change.... I think this is the first time in a long while we are in the position where there is no real pressure and we can try and play attacking football for a change saying all that I wouldn't be surprised to see 4-4-2 again :016:
  23. Fancy something different... 3-4-3 Broonie Rossco Dods Munro Wilson Duncan McBain Rankin Wyness Dargo Bayne Aberdeen are on the back of some excellent results but IMO Anderson is their only good defender so if we have a go we are more than capable of getting 3 points.... if we sit back they have the likes of Severin, Nicholson, Smith, Miller & Mackie in their team to run riot
  24. I demand a recount... Leishman went first :023:
  25. Paul Sheerin, Prunty & Mann have done alright for themselves at a lower level but no player/manager apart from maybe Robson has competed on a similar level after leaving ICT. I think Robbo might eventually do well at aclub if he sticks with them for more than 2 seasons but he seems to prefer playing hot potato.
