  5. I'm not Roeder's biggest fan because of what he did to West Ham but currently he is unbeaten in his last 8 matches and flying high in Europe... which if anything shows that when a club sticks by his manager he can turn it round
  6. Rankin leaving already :015: We've not seen the best out of Rankin but it is obvious he is a decent player.. hopefully he'll bag a few more goals towards the end of the season. To be fair he has been just as good/bad as any of our players tis season.
  7. Think you might be on to a winner there Mrs PB but Morgan on the left and Bazza on the right I'd go: Broonie Tokely Dods Munro Hastings Wilson Black Rankin Wyness Dargo Bayne Let's get some much needed goals :003: :001: :003: :001:
  8. Pardew sacked :010:
  9. 4 - 1 :020: 4 - 2 :003:
  10. Holiday Inn Right beside the stadium... The Kerse Inn..... enter at your peril
  11. :015: :015:
  12. I'm sure the mrs would be delighted with that :015: Alex, I'm not to sure to be honest, the only pub that I can think of that is within walking distance of the stadium is the travelodge :024:
  13. There isn't really anything close to the ground but plenty in the centre worth a visit....
  14. [img width=600 height=434] I'm sure I could find a room for you somewhere :016:
  15. :025: :025: :025:
  16. I'd really like to see CC go for it t the weekend with Wyness in behind Dargo and Bayne with Black doing most the work in the centre... :003: :005: :003: :005:
  17. :003:
  18. Yeh was a decent game... Arsenal are a shadow of the team they were 2/3 seasons ago though. Mind you they did well considering they were missing Gallas, Toure & of course Henry. Good day for Sir Ferguson :003:
  19. Personally think we played worse under Brewster
  20. Thank god none of you have your finger over the button.... Clacher you are right about one thing "ict fans have had it too good since the club was founded, biggest problems we've faced have been replacing managers" this is obvious by the mass hysteria caused by 3 bad defeats in a season and we haven't even made it to January yet :010: I think Christie has shot himself in the foot by having an 8 game unbeaten streak because now our support expects this consistently throughout the season. When has it ever really worked out for a board to constantly change managers as soon as the sign of trouble? In truth what happens is the team would likely have a surge of games where they do well, like United just now, then the same time next season when things aren't reaching the same high expectancy the manager gets shifted again... it's a vicious circle started off by FICKLE FANS!! Christie has been brought in to stabilise the management side of things at the club while we have time to bring ourselves up to SPL standard off the pitch. If that means we have to take a drop of form to insure that stability then I am going to stand by it, and show my team & manager my full support . Christie IS still learning but is no more a novice than Robertson or Brewster were and yet I don't ever remember them receiving as much stick, it's as though people are losing faith in Charlie because he is from Inverness.... go figure that one out :017: :017:
  21. Come on Scotty what's going on?? :012: :016:
  22. Why don't you give the guy a break - he obviously spoke out last week (and I agree he shouldnt) because he is so frustrated after all that has been going on. after watching todays game he appears to lack a bit confidence now and I think this is because he has been getting subbed off all the time. he is undoubtedly unhappy and i dont think it does any good for people like you slagging him off. were you not happy when he was bainging the goals in last season??? we have to look a bit further and say that this is the worst football we have been playing for a long time now - we used to be a team that got the ball down and attacked, now all we do is boot the ball up the park as hard as we can and hope we can maybe pick up scraps. Sorry, but this is first division stuff. TBH we were unlucky not to get humped today as united absolutely tore us apart and could have had quite a few goals but for goal line clearnaces etc. why don't you try supporting our players through a difficult time instead of trying to slag them off! :008: I'm not slagging him off, infact Dargo is one of my favourite ICT players but he complained to the media of not getting enough chances and lets face it they don't come much better than a penalty. I just hope he thinks again next time before he starts blabbing to the media
  23. Agree now is the time we will really see what Christie is made of... Sounded much tighter on the radio and we seemed to be unlucky on a couple of occasions. United lined up in a similar way as Motherwell last week with 1 man upfront and 2 wingers supporting, think there pace caused us trouble again. Also sounded like we weren't as ruthless in the air at the back as we usually are (understandable wih Dods out).
  24. Last thread that says the exact same thing!! How ******* predictable... :008: :008: Why start a new thread when you can just cut and paste the answers from the last one on to this. Your a drama queen Sandy, we lost a game get over it!!! Your whole theory that Christie isn't the man for the job comes from 3 results this season St Mirren (h), St Mirren (a) and Motherwell (h) apart from that all the other results have been acceptable.
  25. Well talk about it on the matchday thread then :006: :006:
