I suspect the actual date may be later than March 2009. ICTFC are running a number of events in the spring of next year and another legends night might not be advisable at that time. However, it WILL most certainly happen again and The Mantis will be amongst the first to konw about it.

Fair question. 1. Well connected, having played for half the teams in Scotland 2. Articulate 3. I believe he's keen to move into management / coaching 4. Using untried managers is a model that has worked well for ICT thus far - we've still to sack one 4. Affordable - at least as he starts to make his way in the management game

I really hope Brew does fantastically well next season. It's going to be challenging and a really good number of new faces will be required this summer. Sooner or later, though, he will jump or be pushed. At that point I would like to see the name of Billy Dods considered as a potential replacement.
  4. Once again I'm flummoxed by representatives of the Supporters Trust jumping to the indefensible defense of the club when really there's no reason why they couldn't have obliged fans on Saturday after the game. They might be doing it as a courtesy, but when they advertise they are selling tickets until "close of business" then that's what they should have been doing. Seems to me that they were all far more interested in shutting up shop ASAP so they could all join the end of season p*ss-up in hospitality. I'm not trying to defend anybody. Just making a statement of fact that some people are probably unaware of.
  5. I can understand some fans' frustrations here but please also remember this. This game is not being organised by ICT but by Barry's Testimonial Committee. ICT staff are selling these tickets over and above their normal duties as a courtesy to Barry.
  6. It strikes me as a good idea and BornCaley has the right idea :022:
  7. Thanks to all who came along. As usual, it was a really enjoyable evening. Great to see Messrs Black, Imrie, Proctor and Wilson in attendence also. Finally, as the newly appointed Chairman of the Trust, it's only right I pay tribute to Maimie and L_G who did the bulk of the organising. If I didn't say that they'd batter me! :015:
  8. Tonight's the night. Still time to get your name down. Always a good event.

Ah yes, here we see who is hardcore and who is soft centred. I'll be investing in another season ticket.
  10. Get your tickets sooner rather than later. I believe that season ticket holders are nearly all buying up extra tickets and interest is great from those who can't buy tickets till Monday. So, if you are eligible, try getting them before Saturday when the ticket office are anticipating a busy time in the run up to the St Mirren match.
  11. A final reminder to all and sundry about this event on Monday evening at 7.30pm in the ICT Social Club
  12. It's a well known fact that that the stigma of coming from Hilton only decreased (and then marginally) when 10CC became ICT manager.
  13. I'll see you right but my hand's going nowhere near your sporran.
  14. Give me a CEEEEEEEEEEEEEE A Howden Ender and proud of it :003:
  15. No probs GJ, I'll make sure your name goes on the list.

While everybody is entitled to their opinion, use match day to be positive, getting behind the team and management. Personally, I don't like to see such banners at the stadium.

Give the wee man a break - he passed his driving test today. :clapping03:
  18. The panel for the football forum is now known Malky Thomson - ICT Assistant Manager Alec Cleland - ICT Youth Coach Stephen Kasiewicz - P&J's main man covering ICT Dave McGinlay - ex-ICT and now with Touchline magazine Should be an interesting evening.
  19. Jock McDonald, Norman Miller, Fiona Larg and Norman Cordiner amongst others.
  20. Arthur Fraser had the job before Hugh Watt. I remember noticing a few years ago that the chaplain had his own marked seat in the main stand. Unfortunately, it was spelt Chaplin - as in Charlie! Wonder is it still like that.
  21. It would appear the gudgie cofs are no wiser after their recent financial woes.

A mascot's for life not just for Christmas. :007:
  23. Wonderful stuff.
  24. When will the first ICT game after the split take place? Is it 12-13th April which is Cup semi final day?
  25. DJS replied to L_G's topic in Caley Thistle
Thought all our best performers were in defence and we rarely threatened at the other end. As has been mentioned Celtic had Sno playing but also a very uninterested looking Riordan and their new striker Ben Hutchison who scored a good second goal. Apart from that it was what you expect from a Celtic second string - a Diarmid, a Ryan and an O'Somebody.
