  1. Cabbagetown here I come!!

Floodlights were certainly on at Grant Street tonight so it could have been there
  3. Setting aside the rights and wrongs of the use of the "g" word, my message would be this - please be careful people. If you get lifted and charged for saying something deemed inappropriate on Sunday it could have adverse life changing effects. That may sound a bit melodramatic but, from working with the Supporters Trust in recent times, I have seen and know it to be true.
  4. Didn't know Jonny was a Jonathan. You learn something new every day.

A lot of effort went into that video. Some good memories, though.
  6. It will be a good test of how good or bad we really are. Will be an interesting one.
  7. out thought, out fought, out played and, too often, out of their depth. A dire first half performance and still not good enough in the second. :(

Glad the club have taken the initiative, apologised and are aware there is a problem. They cannot in future have a situation where you get a top notch pie in hospitality but a crap one in the stands. That just won't do. Good quality pies throughout the stadium please!!
  9. Don, you'll need to get a County shirt so you can do a Paisley Panda. Good work, though, but you'll need to choose your old gits a bit more carefully before asking for comments :(
  10. This thread might just remain on Page 1 till May. I sure hope it does!!!

Truly awful. Makes the new Newcastle away strip look good.

Keep up the good work, Don.
  13. It really looks gloomy for them. I feel very sorry for their fans and employees. They need a big injection of new money from somebody sensible or it's goodbye Livi.
  14. Liked the look of both Hayes and Eagle. Will we be adventurous enough to play them both week by week?
  15. Thanks for the feedback. I certainly didn't expect as many people as there were there. It was a nasty night but all I was getting was positive feedback. Glad people found it beneficial.
  16. So... Why not come up for this gig? Short notice as the mental Health of Lancashire is in my hands next weekend - on feckincall . Anyway it is going to be a "regular" event - As far as I am concerned this is the best news I have heard in 3 years but I want to see it repeated. As I am no stranger to public speaking I would love to stand up - in a few months (sober - soberish ) - to acclaim a new dawn. And I am serious about that. As long it is not at Megabowl !! Despite what a lot of peeple think - I only ever had the heart of this club in consideration - the last two seasons have been a feckin nightmare - What appears to be happening only has to be applauded and encouraged. Pack your clients into a minibus, drive to Fleetwood, hijack a fishing boat and have a One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest type outing north, arriving at the TCS next Friday at 6.30pm. Your radio mike awaits!
  17. It looked like there would be 4-5 people working on each day. We really needed roughly double that.
  18. After some discussions this morning between the Trust and those managing the project, we have decided to postpone the painting. I'm afraid there were not enough volunteers to make serious inroads into the work that needed doing. Thanks for volunteering and we will try again at another time to see if more names come forward. David Sutherland ICT Supporters Trust
  19. Hoping to get painting this weekend, starting at 10am on Saturday and Sunday. If there is any change I will let you all know but please confirm if you are still able to come along.
  20. We still need two or three more volunteers. Come on folks!!!!

    Happy to contribute.
  22. You know how we sometimes talk about a manager who has lost the dressing room. Well, I think it's got to the stage that Lionel has lost his team mates. There was evidence today of their annoyance with his errors and I think he may be becoming a worry and a distraction for the other players. I feel really sorry for him but we need something better in that position.
  23. L is for Lionel but also liability. It's a long time since I've seen ICT players give a team mate such a hard time. They were raging with Lionel at times and who could blame them. If Hastings isn't fit get McBain in at left back for Wednesday. Not ideal, I know. LDZ lost us a goal against the Midden and may well cost us again if we're not careful. I still feel Esson shades it over Fraser. There's little to choose on shot stopping and crosses but Esson deals with pass-backs better, distributes the ball more quickly and effectively and can save a penalty.
  24. The cynical side of me can't help but think that both ourselves and Falkirk have become the playthings of the SPL and Setanta who felt that putting the bottom two teams in the league together in the last weekend of the season would increase the chances of last game drama at the foot of the table and, consequently, some exciting TV viewing.

While we're on the subject, how do you pronounce Filipe?
