This post is not made in reference to either ICTFC or Ross County. Hypothetically, there's a financial case to be made for Scottish teams merging. However, I think our game will implode before we see any radical changes (or mergers). It's interesting looking at the fortunes of merged clubs from Scandinavia though - Danish club FC Nordsjælland playing in the Champions League springs to mind.

Just had a look at the odds for the league cup. Aberdeen & Motherwell are at 5/1, we're at 6/1, Dundee United are at 8/1 and Hibs are at 9/1. Hearts at 20/1 and Partick at 16/1 seems a bit strange, IMHO. Full list: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/scottish/league-cup/scottish-league-cup/winner

I thought it was good to see Polworth get on today - I'd have subbed Vincent instead of Mckay though. Without meaning to sound like a county fan, Thompson and his colleagues were completely woeful today. Bring back the foreign refs.
