    Flag

The remaining banner is a good one. All it needs is an eagle on it. I take your point on board Alex. However I recall seeing a flag many years ago which was, IIRC, red, blue and black squares - one square inside the other. It was this was this one which i was referring to. I can't find an image of it online though.
  2. This is not a criticism, merely a suggestion. Could other events be organised to take place on weekends of home fixtures?

A lion rampant with a blue background instead of yellow would look good.

Jacobite flag - blue and red.
  5. I'm getting in to Dundee at 1258. Going to hang on for Alternative getting in to the station.
  6. Hmmmmmm. Union jacks. Prefer flapjacks myself.
  7. Never will I complain again about BBC coverage. That was horrible having to listen to those 'commentators' tonight. One of them even thought the Moray Firth was Loch Ness. Onwards and upwards from here on in in the league. Top six is still a possibility.
  8. Gutted. Absolutely gutted.
  9. I hope that's sarcasm. 6 goals without reply? Did you expect Tuffey to score?! No, I thought Tuffey did do well in that game. Were you there PMF? Even if Esson had been playing we would have lost heavily. I do recall Tuffey pulling off some great saves in that game hence my statement above. I'd pick Esson over Tuffey for tonight as I think he commands the defence more vocally than Tuffey. The defence will need to be sharp tonight.
  10. Esson. I thought JT actually did well in the previous cup game against the green mob this season but Esson it is for me.
  11. Seems unreal this one isn't going to be picked up. A lot of real Celtic fans won't be able to make it up from the East End of Glasgow. I doubt St Johnstone v Brechin (no disrespect to either) will achieve big viewing figures.
  12. TheKnowledge are you getting a train up from Glasgow or going via Edinburgh?
  13. Apologies for starting this thread before we've played on Wednesday (weather permitting). Who all is going up / down / across to Dundee for the game on Saturday? I bought train tickets today to go up for it. Hopefully we'll get two games and two wins this week... I wonder if the ever so friendly steward with his tupperware box of keys will be in attendance this week.
  14. Interesting point ICTChris, Surely the game would generate a lot of interest especially with the 'previous' we have with them.

    Covers

Ross county bought a tractor and caravan type trailer thing for selling merchandise out of with their cup run cash last season. If we win the cup invest the cash in covers? Last thing we want is European matches being postponed next season.
  16. Just left Aberdeen on the train back to Edinburgh due to the south line being closed. Gutted the game won't be shown on TV. Could the BBC pick it up?

How far down are the USH pipes? They must be pretty near the surface if the pitch can't be forked. Gutted about the game being off - I won't make it on Wednesday.
  18. Don't get me started on the A9 and trams...
  19. I hope it will be covered by Sky.

Dougal's Saturday night wind up thread. Getting a bit tired eh bud?
  21. Tweets from @roadscot look like a good source of info for those travelling.
  22. Forecast looks horrific. Heavy snow and 29mph winds forecast for Sunday. Don't fancy it at all. Going to have a think about wether or not to come up this afternoon.
  23. My buddy can't make it so the tix still going.
  24. I've bought my tix but I've got a bud who is unemployed just now - he would love one.
  25. For a 'squiggler' a season I don't think he's worth a wage.
