  1. They'll need to get their running shoes on!!
  2. Dunfermline Town station to East End Park is well under a mile - especially with the shortcut through the park. Kirkcaldy to Starks Park is well over a mile. For me the galling thing is that the train goes right past Starks. Either way, another team on the East Coast is handier for me. I'll be glad to see the back of Hamilton - it's a bit depressing.
  3. Bridies ergo Pars (a new Latin motto for them?) Falkrik and Raith Rovers grounds are a hassle to get to by train. At least with East End Park it's only a 5 minute walk. Oh, and the Bridies are good - did I mention that? nom nom.
  4. He never lets us down with his negativity I'm going to sound just as negaitive as DC here, but I'm really not looking forward to the remaining games without Hayes in the team. He's the spark of brilliance in the side.
  5. No goals for Rooney... Good game?
  6. Top six next year maybe? Now I have to pay AM in to the last away game of the season.
  7. "Hiya Craig! Hiya pal!"
  8. Just did an internet search for 'The Real Radio Football Phone In' - this was the result. I too live in central beltshire. I can't bring myself to listen to them.
  9. I heard Colin Calderwood on BBC Radio Scotland this morning. He thinks Hibs can still make it in to the top half. Surely we can do it.
  10. Bit rich coming from him. Why was our infamous cup victory postponed again? Was it due to their crap stadium falling apart? I lol'd at the 'Celtic fans being the lifeblood of Scottish football' - what a topper!
  11. Dougal is obviously a county fan. Only county fans are negative about ICT and obsessed with seeing us do badly.
  12. They need each other. They market themselves on their 'history' and having one another is essential to do this. Hypothetically, if rangers do go bust, I would envisage celtic moving south. They could probably find an 'enemy' there (Chelsea perhaps?). At least it would leave the rest of us to enjoy our game in peace - and the possibility of ICT winning the SPL!
  13. True.
  14. I know who you mean - yes she's lovely and very sound. I'm thinking of an incident during the Morton cup game though where a steward was completely out of order though. It was very disappointing and sad to see an adult speak to ICT fans in the manner she did. This isn't the place to discuss it though.
  15. But a police officer in that situation doesn't come over being aggressive though. They'll communicate with the offender and probably ask them what they've done wrong. Surely there's a difference between breaking the law by speeding on a motorway (which could result in fatalities) and breaking a rule by standing at a football game? It doesn't help when the stewards get in the faces of the paying customers though - the customers who are paying their wages. I stood during our 2-2 game at celtic park - I had to because if I had sat I wouldn't have been able to see a fair amount of the play due to the wall. The stewards were ignorant, unpleasant and downright rude to be honest about it. Think back to the way the stewards acted at st mirren park a few months ago - bang out of order. Even at our ground there is one steward i can think of who is OTT and is putting people off from going to games. (I very much grudge paying her wage to be very honest). There's only one solution to this - don't go to games and don't pay their wages.
  16. A small observation here. I recall hearing a radio programme once on BBC Scotland where the presenter talked of the cultural impact of the Kirk on football in Scotland - I'm not talking about bigotry here. I think it might have been Stuart Cosgrove who made the point. He likened singing at football together as being the same as in church. I think most congregations stand up when the minister comes to the pulpit, and most stand when signing hymns. Comparing it to football, most people stand when their team comes on to the pitch and therefore standing to sing at games must come naturally?
  17. I couldn't go to the game CaleyD has posted about. Regardless of what happened, I won't be back at Tannadice as I don't like the way the Dundee United staff treat their paying customers.

I was at the Scotland game which means I have watch Scott Brown for another 90 minutes within six days. Who seriously thinks this guy is a footballer? Ugh.
  19. The only loser will (hopefully) be Ross County.
  20. I think the clubs should get together and create a charity shield (Highland Shield) event every year, alternating the venue between the two grounds. Pick two local charities and split the takings.
  21. I suppose for me it's the performance Roy put in against celtic in that 3-2 game. Stellar performance from him when he was on the park that day. Good luck to him at Brechin. I'm sure he'll be a fine addition to their team.
  22. I remember going to a Scotland V England game at U15 level back in 1997 (I think). Sure it was free to get in at the time.

I saw the title of this thread and thought he'd been called up to the Scotland squad.
  24. Hatred of the OF if you don't 'support' one of them is a given. Accies are a dirty side who try to cheat their way to a draw in almost every game.
  25. Livingston Hamilton.
