I was at the Scotland game which means I have watch Scott Brown for another 90 minutes within six days. Who seriously thinks this guy is a footballer? Ugh.

I think the clubs should get together and create a charity shield (Highland Shield) event every year, alternating the venue between the two grounds. Pick two local charities and split the takings.

I suppose for me it's the performance Roy put in against celtic in that 3-2 game. Stellar performance from him when he was on the park that day. Good luck to him at Brechin. I'm sure he'll be a fine addition to their team.

I remember going to a Scotland V England game at U15 level back in 1997 (I think). Sure it was free to get in at the time.

Hatred of the OF if you don't 'support' one of them is a given. Accies are a dirty side who try to cheat their way to a draw in almost every game.

I wish they would use the cash to fill in the potholes. Don't have a problem with them using the cash to sponsor the tournament though.

We have? You do? Finally you get to the point and we all learn what the real agenda for this thread has been. Get him telt. I was wondering where this thread had gone tonight. I was searching through General Nonsense - a fail of epic proportions on my account. IF Thistle and Caledonian were still in existence as separate clubs, both would probably still be in the HL and there would probably be even more 'fans' of the ugly sisters in Inverness today. All very speculative of course.

You've reminded me of a rampant Lion I spotted in the wilderness that is Blair Drummond Safari Park five years ago. It mounted every Lioness in sight in a space of five minutes. Dirty beast. On this basis, the Lion Rampant flag - I'm out.

What about the Iceland flag? It's pretty similar. Unionism and perceived religious connotations don't have a patch on the Icelandic and the way they brutally kill whales. I can hear the chants now... You only sing when you're whaling. There's nothing wrong with the flag I posted. It has not political connotations and, if anything, expresses Highland identity. This was the flag raised apparently at Glenfinnian.

There's it! (To quote the Inverness song doing the rounds...) Bit pink though in this picture. When I saw a replica it was a strong red. Much better than a Saltire just IMVHO. The Saltire is a flag I associate with the Lothians - not the Highlands.

I like that team and formation. Will either of those left backs be fit though, or will it be made do and mend with Duff and Munro as the full backs again? I'd go with that. I really hope we can hit the split. A win tomorrow is vital.

Zibi the Hibee. Just for comedy value likes. Being serious, I think Esson is the best 'keeper we've had. It's scandalous that he's not in the Scotland set up.
