  1. Is that how you celebrate a win? I just had few beers myself. Beers, sheep, victory beers is hopefully the plan for Saturday.
  2. Might be a Scotland fixture happening at pittodrie?
  3. Should be played every time we score at home...
  4. Theres a thread like this on p&b. Worth a read
  5. Good old iPhone predictive text! Meant proctor!
  6. The thought of porter playing in the CB position is a scary one!
  7. It would be good to have Terry and Mo come on to the chatroom for an hour to discuss things. Wonder if it's possible to arrange?
  8. Basically I agree with that, but let's not get carried away here - it's not like we've beaten the best team in the league today. True. But we've beat a team 'around us' which is a good start.
  9. I like your line up tbh renegade but I'd swap Hayes with McBain and Foran with Odihambo. Hopefully we'll have a real go at them. McGhee is clueless - we have a great opportunity to pick up another three points.
  10. So here come the sheep with their hordes of thousands of fans. Where are we placed with injuries? I'd pick: -----------Esson Duff Tokely Munro Shinnie ----Ross Duncan Hayes ------------Foran -----Rooney Odihambo Our bad run of luck at the TCS has to come to an end soon. We need to attack Aberdeen, get an early goal (or two) and settle in for a battle for the remainder of the match. Surely Duff will have a point to prove against his former employers.
  11. I heard that too Miss ICT and I can't remember where I heard it.
  12. The midweek game was a financial bonus for the club - nothing more. I only went (2nd visit to that dump in the slums) because it was a cup game and Celtic were only getting half of my very hard earned cash. Anyway, back to the point, I spoke to a few of the "best fans in the world" who had been at the game at work the next day. One of them said it was the best he had seen Celtic play in 4 years. Consider they've spent in big way over the summer and failed to progress in Europe, it was pretty enevitable we were in for a horsing from the kick off. It really was a David v Goliath midweek. On a brighter note, our deprivation tour has come to an end so you can breath easy. (Btw that deprivation reference was coined by ICTChris so I'm not going to pretend that I came up with that.) Are you going to the game on Saturday Mahonio? Have a green from me. The club needs more young guys like you supporting the team. There's too many up north following the infirm. Stay positive fella - don't let stinking thinking drag you down. And I wonder if Terry did that glass of red wine post-match with Neil Lennon...
  13. Well done to Shinnie too. Hopefully he'll continue to make first team appearances for us on a regular basis, regardless of injuries.
  14. Delighted we got the win today. With the resources at hand, the gaffer is doing a great job. Long may he remain at the helm. Heard Odi and Granty were superb today. Roll on the sheep.
  15. Safe? We're aiming for top 6 fella! Only out of it by 2 goals today
  16. HT: 0-1 FT: 0-3 1st scorer ICT Hayes 1st scorer Opp: N/A Crowd : 3622
  17. Quite keen to see Peles huntly v clach in march.
  18. Where's yer team mun?
  19. Good point! Thank heavens we've got two great goalkeepers even if the defence will be off full strength.
  20. Disgusting tackle. Looked like a potential career-ender. The club should complain
  21. I like #100
  22. With the cup upsets last night, it got me thinking on the train back to Edinburgh. If ICT were an English club, which club would we be? I was thinking we're pretty similar to West Brom. Waaaay to big for the Championship, but a little lacking in resources for the Premier League. Purely hypothetical and comes from a little too much thinking after that tanking last night. Who would you compare us to and why?
  23. C'mon Mahonio, the club are working on a tiny budget compared to Celtic. How much have they spent on players during the summer? Think about the difference between the two clubs. That 3-1 game was a massive match for us back then - probably the biggest of that season by a mile. Last nights game was a part of a much bigger, tougher campaign where many of the players are having to find their feet playing up a level.
  24. I think getting to the semi stage of the cup could be achievable. I'd much rather see us pushing up the league though. We came up with a huge amount of momentum and have merely been unlucky with injuries. Outside of the infirm there's no team which (with a full squad to choose from) we can't beat. A semi and top six spot would be great. With the size of the squad though, and the injuries the players are picking up, I'll say give the young lads experience, get a semi appearance and stay up. Top could well be do-able next year.
  25. I think to drop Shinnie after last night might have a big effect on his confidence. (Purely a guess though.). I thought his performance last night was decent hence his inclusion for me.
