  1. after reading that no wonder that there are a few concerns....how do we know what will happen if a black hole is created....is someone just chucking a guess out there that it will just evaperate...haha we're fecked...
  2. i was asked if i HAD to choose...that would be my choice from the caley team...not that i would because your right... as for vigurs your spot on there...the boy has limitless potential...
  3. wow...broadfoot is the luckiest player of all time and all time to come...hahahaha has anyone actually taken time out to watch this guy throughout a game....he is technically the worse player of all time..he cant pass to save his life..his balance..well he has none...but for what reason i dont know people see something...anyone want to tell me what it is??????
  4. well its tuff, but maybe don cowie, but hopefully the young lads will progress well enough to maybe get a call up sometime in their career. its really tuff to say though. its always gonna be hard for ICT players to get a shout in when it seems only central belt teams exist when it comes to international selection.
  5. yeah he has a couple of times. he hasn't had much playing time with them though unfortunately.
  6. two players that could be good enough with a couple more seasons playing first team could be iain vigurs and duff. then again they might not even be caley players in a couple of years. vigurs played under 19 scotland and i think duff might have done.
  7. I would stick with Duff and Maguire . In the 3 league games they have played together we have only conceded 3 goals in total .Neither deserves to be dropped, furthermore there is no way Grant can be match fit,i dont think he has even played a reserve game. true...munro might not be fit enough to start this sat, but i would like to see munro and duff as our two first choice centre backs when he is fit enough. saying that obviously they need to be able to perform well at the same time. i reckon they would make a good partnership though. mcguire might just be getting past it a little...maybe..
  8. i think its interesting...especially the fact that its stirring up a few concerns from a few scientists. however, todays tests seem to have gone well. but they were only testing the beams going in one direction at a time...clockwise first then anti clockwise.... but i guess we wont know exactly how well its really gonna go until they try out with both beams going at once colliding into one another....hmmmm....sparks will be flying..
  9. im very pro to keeping in the young ones if they do a job....and duff has done a job...it has to be munro and duff at the back. keep them two together and a brilliant understanding between the two will happen. unfortunately munro and mcguire dont have that.
  10. Think Vigurs deserves to keep his place after Falkirk, although this time I'd play him and Cowie on their preferred wings. Possibly I'd have Duncan in for McBain and Barrowman in for Wood, even though Wood did pretty well against Falkirk IMO. Won't do Imrie any harm to start on the bench again if his reponse when he came on at Falkirk is anything to go by. We must have quite a few players desperate to stake a claim for a start now, which is encouraging. yeah i completely agree, i wonder though if duncan will be fit enough to start?! i always think that the two wingers should be switching with each other throughout the game, just to mix things up a little for the opposing defenders. nothing worse than having to defend against a different person every ten minutes.
  11. i cant see brew changing the team that beat falkirk to much... especially not the midfield...the midfield just ran the show at falkirk. vigurs---mcbain---black----cowie
  12. six changes from the team that beat Falkirk...that's a lot?
  13. yeah i would include them on the bench to begin with. no point chucking them straight back in there. munro might get a start. not sure about duncan but i think proctor will most certainly start on the bench. unfortunately its gonna be tuff for guys coming back from injury to get a start if the replacing players are doing well and possibly a better job for now. great to have them back though.
  14. well done to ian black. yeah i think all he needs to add to his game now is more forward penetrating passes. once he adds that to his game then there's no limitation to how far he can go.

    Sportscene

my point is that there should be more coverage, football is huge in scotland...people want to see more of the games. the simple fact is it's not good enough the coverage we do get. we don't even get line ups at the begining of the game unless it is the feature game, and lets be fair Caley are only ever the feature game when we're playing one of the old firm. it's just lucky for me that i do get to go to most of the games to see what you don't get to see on sportscene. not everyone has that privilege.
  16. i dont think it matters what side either of them played on...regardless of what the players stronger foot is...wingers i think should be switching all the time throughout the game at this level..obviously more so when playing 4-5 across the middle. i can't understand why they don't do this...I don't just mean ICT noone seems to do it in the SPL. just an observation.
  17. yeah i reckon one of the youth would have played, however, obviously brew is playing at the back in the reserves to get some match fitness..im sure he would have played up front but he clearly needed to give barowman and McAllister priority.
  18. yeah i guess so... regarding who brew will play at the back can only be answered once Munro is fit...you never can predict....football is a funny game It sure is - but if Duff is to play alongside Munro I expect Brew to play Munro on the right and Duff on the left. yeah i think so too, it is an interesting one though, i am looking forward to see what does happen once Munro is back fit. nothing like a bit of competition....

  20. i think brew and the board need to make it a priority NOW to sign cowie on a new contract, give him the money he wants coz frankly he deserves it. the main thing is getting him signed on a longer deal....the worse that can happen after that is someone else comes in for him and pays good money for him. i know for a fact that all footballers want to go as high as possible as they can in football. if cowie keeps up his form from last season then i'm sorry to say he won't be at the club for much longer unfortunately, no matter how much love he has for his home.
  21. Are u trying to compare Phil McGuire with Roberto Baggio? And how can u tell from watching highlights that no-one shouted? And anyway he's meant to be a "Professional" footballer so he should've dealt with it :thumb04: i agree, he is a professional and so is everyone else around him so i find it hard to believe that he didn't have a shout from anyone. it was his error. i think Duff has shown up McGuire so far.
  22. i'm afraid that you might be right, however, i hope that this doesn't happen, i think that if duff is kept in the team he'll become our most reliable central defender... the only way to get experience is to be played. it won't take long for duff to overtake McGuire. hopefully brew will realise this and keep faith in the younger lads...it's so vital the likes of duff, vigurs and wood get a good run and aren't just side-lined because everyone has this concept that youth can't cope..so far they have...more so than most of the senior players. anyway i can only hope.
