  2. Long lie in, breakfast in bed, then down to watch Scotland at the 20/20 world cup in another Scottish glorious failure. 4 race meetings on the telly, mixed results, flipping tv between Lions game, 20/20, and racing all afternoon. Put bet on evening football and watched Wales game. Lovely Dinner. Watched Northern Ireland game, all this sprinkled with a little trampolining and play station singstar with kids, and 6 out of 7 on my football line made for a lovely relaxed and profitable day. Still can't wait for a normal Saturday though.

Give him a cance you say, so what were the 32 appearances in the last year. He had 32 chances to show what he could do and 2, thats 2, goals(the last one being 27/9/2008) is the clubs return on wages on approx ?75000. Why can someone on this sort of money not adapt to the way the team played rather than the rest of the squad adapting to him. I am all for giving someone a chance, but I think Barrowman owes ICT big time this season.

Thats a good draw for me. A nice end to the Honeymoon and a game I can take the wife to and win. She has an 8 games and 0 wins record so far so this should break the jinks
  5. we can buy a new Andy Barrowman :D Or help pay for the existing one. :( Or pay off the current one
  6. Been there, done that. The Beeno's were my team when I moved north in 1988. But then the mighty ICT were born Good luck

I certainly was not blaming ICT for anything to do with fixture release day. I was mearly pointing out to Caleymad that some fans need time to organize in advance and I would be happy with as much time as poss to sort stuff out. But I totally understand it takes time to sort things out and I am happy with middle of June for the fixtures.

I dont know why people are in a rush for these fixtures. the first league game isnt played till August anyway I for one need time to plan ahead for lots of reasons. Travelling from yorkshire, booking ahead for good deal on hotel rooms, I have to tell ex which dates she will have the kids, next Mrs Dude has to book time of work, like to know which games are on during honeymoon, to get as many games in as possible, I am taking one of the boys up for his 6th birthday need to arrange where we are staying for this, etc, etc Not a problem if you live local, but for those coming from further afield it takes a bit more planning than fall out of bed, go to pub, go to game.
  9. Lewis Mackinnon came on as a sub for last 4 minutes for Bingham v Raith in a 3-0 victory on 14/02/04 Never to be seen again!
  10. On the official site it says you can pay over 9 months with no deposit instead of the 4 months last season.

I read somewhere the fixtures are announced 3rd thursday in june. That would make it the 18th. The club told fixtures the day before. It will be on SFL website then I would expect
  12. I thought it was the CIS cup on the 1st august?? Or have they changed it when I wasn't looking? CIS cup games are traditionally mid-week affairs so I'd expect the first round games to be on 4th/5th Aug. This was the article that says CIS starts on the 1st Aug, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...rem/8060108.stm Its all very confusing to an old git like me :P

  14. Let her go shop in the club shop :D Your having a giraffe!!! She went in for a scarf on Saturday and spent ?42 in 5 min. Once I came round, and got off the floor, she looked OK in the scarf.
  15. I do, 22/02/2003
  16. No option for future Mrs Dude. Thats 8(EIGHT) games I've taken her too, and, nothing, bug*er all, zero, fk all. She has agreed not to go to next league game and I have promised to give her ?5 to go shopping so that will be 3 points . She is to change her name to Jinxs at wedding!!!! (I know what your thinking,, but wedding is already paid for)
  17. As usual IHE nearly spot on. I wouldn't have wasted the x 2 on Imrie. Headless chicken X 2 would cover his contribution. Foran, lost all respect, walking off without acknowledging fans (again) . Good save or shocking miss? Rosscoe, even now, I think he was unlucky. Linesman didn't wave his flag to say foul. Most cowardly lino's wave flag after ref blows, this numpty just looked at ref as if to say "whats that for" Fans North Stand :D :D :D :D :D

I take it we won't be doing the Italy or Denmark thing this year, or are we? hope not, I'll be on honeymoon in Scotland last 2 weeks in July so hope to take in couple or 3 games. Just tell new Mrs Dude its sightseeing.
  19. I had a very good win on horses on Tuesday and have put some silly bets including Lionel first scorer 1-1 @165/1 Tokley first scorer 1-1@145/1 Black first scorer 1-0@90/1 Not bothered who it is as long as is enough to stay up!
  20. With your local knowledge is it worth going through Caputh and Stanley to avoid Bankfoot Roadworks at Bankfoot supposed to be suspended over the weekend. http://www.transportscotland.gov.uk/news/A...oliday-weekends
  21. Looks like we will have a convoy going from West Yorkshire :024:
  22. :crazy03: for the ticket office, tickets arrived already, well done to them all for such good service at such a busy time.
  23. I'm pretty sure a few people have said they have got them online. Maybe they are only selling them at the ticket office now? We have definately not sold it out already. I booked mine online on Saturday evening so hopefully be ok. Must stand up for ticket office staff, I had an e-mail at 8.57 to tell me about ticket arrangements, and a phone call at 9.10am in reply to a message I left on Saturday. So they where on the ball first thing today. Hope the tickets get here on time now.
  24. I've had an e-mail this morning from ticket office recommending buying tickets for home support. Falkirk fans are Pay at the gate
  25. Heading up from Yorkshire on Friday, stopping at Perth. Then up in Inverness for a few before kick off. B)
