  1. flicking through channels and found it on live on the Welsh channel 134 on SKY
  2. Excellent idea. I wouldn't be adverse to paying a small fee for commentary/updates from home games in particular as I do get to a few away games. Hope it can happen

  6. Not watching now, knackered my scorecast and first goal scorer after first minute
  7. I think you will find goal difference is the difference between goals scored and goals against. Yes we didn't score enough goals last season, but shipping 9 in 2 games v rangers and falkirk certainly didn't help also. I'll reserve judgment on wether or not we will be up there with Dundee until we see the final squad that will be playing. at the moment our midfield will probably struggle. I'm sure the management are looking into this and I can understand them waiting to see if they can get a bargain or two from the setanta fall-out.
  8. Hope they don't go bust. This season anyway. I've already booked my Travelodge for game in January, and I don't see any other reason to go to Livingston.

I am from Callander in central Scotland originally and when I was young I followed my brother following Rangers, until as a 8 year old going to my first game at Ibrox, they wouldn't let me on the supporters bus because I was brought up a catholic. Or as they told us "there's no f****ng fenians getting on this bus" I turned my allegiance to my local team Stirling Albion. Best game being the 20-0 gubbing of Selkirk in the cup. I have had no allegiance to Caley or Thistle before merger. I was working in Carrbridge when merger happened and it was easier to follow CT/ICT than the Beano's. I get to 7 or 8 games a season now and I am now turning the next Mrs dude into an ICT fan as well as the kids(one born in Inverness 2 born in Lincoln) turning her away from Man utd .
  10. Might be pushing it a wee bit but John Robertson took the field for a part of a game during a friendly tournament in Oban .
  11. So, in nearly 4 weeks since relegation the board have told us; Lee Cox signing- 1 signing so far, and announcing 2 on trial in nearly 4 weeks whilst most of our competitors have been snapping up players and I asume the better players that are available. BOD changes-giving out new titles hardly constitutes ground breaking work. Friendly fixtures- I found the first 2 friendlies on SFA website a week before officially anounced, surely not beyond the board to announce something like that on official site. At least that would have been something for the fans. League dates/fixtures- Nothing to do with the board. Released on SFL and BBC websites. Board could hardly take credit for releasing them. I have not really been critical of the board in the past(except incompetence over sacking Brewster) but even my patience is wearing thin with their apparent non action and lack of public relations.

  20. What a rediculous thread. If and when Butcher leaves would be the time to do this. It is not even half way through close season and he is contracted untill end of next season. Seems like another thread aimed at undermining the managment(Our Tel, Butcher is offski + other posts on various threads) How about supporting Butcher and Malpas instead of another talking of Butcher not being here.
  21. Its a lot better than Aviemore. Beautiful scenery, good roads that get cleared in the winter, friendly people, even found a bar done out in tartan, and in the winter brilliant snow and night life and was really cheap when I was there. The local food is a mixture of French and Spanish(Catalan). Snails and Quails night was excellent.
  22. At least ICT are finally being seen to be doing something in the transfer front. But.. A relativly untried 18 year old from Leicester? I was hoping for a battle hardened, experienced player or two, that would have the experience of SFL. We won't have time to let unexperienced youngsters learn their trade if we hope to get back up straight away this season. I look forward to see who else comes in. In mean time welcome to Inverness Lee, good luck and show me that I am wrong.
  23. 7th July according to this- http://fitbadaft.blogspot.com/2009/03/scot...y-fixtures.html
  24. Caley P writes--Perhaps it is, but we were safe, then butcher started fecking around with formation and team selection, in my eyes that is unforgivable. just look at his stats, they aren't exactly brilliant, in actual fact they are horrible, you can't ignore those stats just because he was a good player in his day. I just have no faith in Butcher as a manager, until he proves otherwise i won't change my opinion, he hasn't even signed a damn player yet. At what stage were we safe under Butcher? When he took over we were I think 5 points adrift. And with "fecking around with formations and team selection" got us playing in the last game of the season with a chance of staying up. Yes he made a couple or 3 strange decisions regarding players and where they played, but under Brewster and his formations and team selections we would almost certainly have been relegated by end of March. I am not ignoring his stats, and I couldn't give a toss about his playing record, but as you said about Barrowman, "lets give him a chance to prove himself at a lower level and see what he can do". Even Brewster got a couple of months into the season before people were calling for his head. Give Butcher a chance. I will take stock after a 12-15 games We should know by then if he is the man to get us back up.
  25. The end of next season.... Do you think it will take as long as that? Probably not in my opinion. What some people on here see in butcher i don't know, there is no proof that butcher knows what he's doing now or in the past, one fluke season with motherwell and a whole load of mess to fill up the rest of his eventful career as a manager. I know someone who played under Butcher at motherwell that season and he even said he was a terrible manager. Here's my proof backing up my opinion for all those Butcher lovers out there. Butcher's career as a manager: Coventry - BUTCHER SACKED Sunderland - BUTCHER SACKED Motherwell - Left on a high, probably before he fecked it up. Sydney FC - BUTCHER SACKED Brentford - BUTCHER TOLD TO FECK OFF BY FANS...SACKED Inverness - Relegated Anyway we'll see this season. Any chance Butcher securing some signatures anytime soon, get the fecking finger out. Why are you so anti Butcher and not willing to give him a chance in the 1st division. He almost saved us from relegation, and probably would have if he had come in a month earlier. I don't understand why you are willing to give Barrowman a chance, quote from you on Barrowman thread "I have slated Barrowman in the past but i feel we must give him a chance, completely agree with a player performing better with confidence, lets give him a chance to prove himself at a lower level and see what he can do" Why do you not want Butcher to be given the same chance?? A bit hypocritical perhaps>
