  1. :021: :021: :021: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: Well done everyone. I think we proved a lot of people, myself included wrong, there may not be as many glory hunters at TCS as I thought. Great news about the increase in kids ticket sales too, the future's bright, the future's ICT. Well put. I think this is a real sign that the people of inverness and the surrounding areas want to get behind the team and help get us back into the SPL. Not that I want to p!ss on anyones parade.... BUT, in the story it says that there are a 20% more children than last year... how many are "free" or ?25 per year tickets? :024: Its easy enough getting bums on seats at that price - but at the end of the day, its down to profits for the club.... The kids seats may be cheap or free, but, whilst at the game they will probably be bought food and drink, a programme, merchandise if available. All adding to the clubs coffers. As well as thinking ahead, tell their mates what a good day out it can be and encourage them to go to a game and maybe carry on supporting ICT in years ahead.
  2. Queen of the South, who play in Dumfries. mmmmm, April 10th I see. Might try and make it to that. Think i'd rather go to a home game though first. :P I would go to an away game first, a home game might put you off :D . Better craic at away games. Took the wife(who enjoys a drink or 6) to her first ever football games last season, all, bar 1, ICT away, and she really enjoyed them dispite results. Took her to Annan game and she couldn't believe the difference in atmosphere, and attitude of the fans around us. But we were in the main stand. But you would go to the North stand for a home game. Much better. Don't have to wait until April. Playing in Dumfries 5th December.
  3. There is a bigger world out there beyond Inverness. There are quite a few ICT fans living out of the Inverness area using the site. As well as other teams fans who come on the site for a nosey to see what pearls of wisdom they can read from the wise ones on here like... well maybe they just come on for a nosey
  4. I've never been convinced by Burley as Scotland manager. I thought he was going to suprise me for the first half hour and get a result tonight, but a few shocking ref decisions, a deflected shot later and Burley has the chance to prove he has the ability to sort out the team during the game. He failed miserably. Wrong subs, wrong tactics Wrong manager! He will claim decisions went against him, but thats football, deal with it. He didn't deal with it.

  11. Has to be North Stand. We had our first experience of the Main Stand on Saturday, and if the ignorrant, pompus, petty, small minded, "I have a season ticket for this stand" attitude is the norm, they can stick it up their tartan blanket.
  12. You are not alone, I also dont see the comedy in Little britain. Others I don't get are Harry Hill, whats funny about big collar and big glasses?? are they to distract you from the fact he can't tell a joke? Russell Brand and Ricky Gervais are 2 others who baffle me. Lenny Henry is past his sellby date along with Jennifer saunders Dawn French, Jasper Carrott, Chubby Brown, Jim Davidson. I think Billy Connelly is loosing it, the richer and more detatched from his roots he becomes, the originality and humour is disappearing.
  13. My 2 younger boys were given over the phone diagnosis of having swine flu. The system 2 weeks ago was diabolical. One of my boys started feeling unwell over the weekend so I called NHS direct, First call was at 8.30pm and operator, after numerous questions, put me through to a nurse, who, after the same numerous questions, told me to call my own doctor, who's answer phone gave me a number to ring for West yorkshire urgent care, who's operator, after the same numerous questions, put me through to NHS direct in London who told me, after the same numerous questions, a doctor would call in next couple of hours. I eventually got the call, after waiting up until 2.30am, at 5.15am. And, after yet again the same numerous questions, all he did was tell me to call my own doc in the morning. In the morning I phoned the doc and suprisingly enough she asked the same numerous questions, and told me to get someone who had not been in contact with boys to collect the Tami flu Shocking system at the time. Both boys were fine in 4/5 days but had to miss my wedding as doc said they couldn't go to any large gatherings for a week-10 days.
