  1. I dont believe that the context makes it racist. He is only stating to Australian press that england is being run by a Scotsman, and as an englishman he, and many like him , are peed off about this. Just as some Scots would be if an englishman was First Minister. He is trying to show the Australians how rediculous our political set up is in the UK Maybe the fact some Scots find whats been said offensive and racist, maybe he may have a point in some cases..
  2. Whats the problem with what he said? Gordon Brown has one eye, True Gordon Brown is Scottish, True Gordon Brown is an idiot, True (in my opinion) As I have often been called an idiot , I am offend to be associated with Gordon Brown. Who do I complain to?
  3. see posts 8, 11, 16, 19, 23, and few more on matchday thread!1
  4. Maybe we can all send e-mails to Ian Wright at Talksport radio on the drivetime show and remind him of this special time http://www4.talksport.net/contact_us.asp
  5. Draw at Hampden tomorrow lunchtime
  6. INVERNESS CT CELTIC Possession 44% 56% Shots on target 4 2 Shots off target 8 5 Corners 3 4 Fouls 18 15 Stats seem to suggest we more than matched the "champions" Well done lads onwards and most certainly upwards
  7. He signed for gillingham on 25/08/2005 played only 11 games (inc 7 as sub) before signing for Livingston 0n 11/01/2006 . So not a great success down south
  8. I am another not sure. Its hard to say if its the right decision without seeing his team play. With the fans getting behind him at the start, it will give him a good chance of saving us from relegation. He has a great chance of being a local hero and all he has to do is move one place up the league to succeed. Only then the board will then be judged as making "the right decision" on who the manager is and wether they left it too late in bringing somone new in. Good luck to Butcher
  9. What a joke this board is making out ICT. Just when the club are in the worst position in our league history,( facing relegation for first time in case they hadn,t noticed), they are trying to appoint someone with 2 other jobs!!!!!!! Since when has the ICT managers job been part-time? How the hell can he possibly give 100%. As well as his managerial record being average at best, Its just a mad appointment. :thumb04: Having said that I will still be backing the team and hope to be proved wrong!!!!
  10. Butchers managers record is at best mediocre games won lost drawn Brentford 23 5 13 5 Motherwell 175 60 78 37 Sunderland 43 13 22 8 Coventry 60 20 26 14 I feel that we should bring in someone like Robertson until the summer, and once we know what division we will be playing in, Then decide on the permenant replacement.
  11. I wasn't at the game yesterday, but the "ladies" are probably the ones I encountered at the Fir Park, and at Falkirk They did nothing but moan, tut and tell everyone to shut up anytime anyone dared to question their hero Brewster. I think they must be watching the game through the blankets they always seem to have!! I don't understand their argument that if you want to moan and complain you must have a season ticket :thumb04: Football snobs,? So ladies if you read this :018:

  13. I am number 37 in the poll, and I think I can say with some confidence I will not be the last, TO THE BOARD SHOW SOME BALLS AND DO YER JOB SACK BREWSTER!!!!!
  14. " goodness gracious GREAT BALLS OF FIRE"
  15. Substantial investment---- Richie Byrne
  16. I hopr you pointed out or are going to at least, that better football or not they got pumped out of the cup (in a nice way though). :thumb04: Rest assured he has been suitably reminded of the result
  17. I have just had a reply from the journalist who wrote the piece on Saturdays game. His claim is that his report was edited by a sub-editor because it was too long. He carries on that not much positive could be writen about ICT anyway, apart from the new signings looking the part., and Partick played the better football. Sounds like passing the buck, but fair play to him at least he replied.
  18. After opening a tin containing a new Bosch electric screwdriver yesterday, I found it taped down. On the tape it had the legend " Remove after opening"

    Morais

Just read some stats for Morais. Looks like he is made to play for us, Last league win he played in was 12 games ago against Kilmarnock.... March 2008, but he did score :thumb04: So he is due a win. Still congrats for display on Sat and good luck to him.for rest of the season
  20. Dont fret - I only sit next to intelligent peeple. you got a bus to yourself then? ;) I know the organizers dont mind making detours, within reason, but I think they may draw the line at going via Chorley. So I suppose coming via Dewsbury is out of the question?
  21. Not a new thing in Aviemore. In Late 80's i seen a guy murdered outside Smiffy's chippy. Guy only got 7 years . Blackie hope you don't mind stuck a couple of ALLEGEDLY'S in your piece, just in case they haven't got to court yet
  22. I never had any problems in Inverness anytime I had a night out there. Carrbridge was a diffrent matter. Lost count of the amount of scraps there. Now here in Dewsbury I wouldn't dare go out at night, gangs roaming about looking for targets, druggies looking for trouble, stabbings, taxi's have no-go areas after dark because they get shot at etc. Apart from that its ok here
  23. Kilmarnock seems to be the only team we can beat home and away so if it a Prem team, Killie, otherwise Peterhead or East Fife would see us through safely. Though wouldn't really like to go to Methil again, Is there a more depressing town in Scotland?
  24. Ha, one in the eye for the serial moaners! Doesn,t take much for the pro Brewster peeps smugness to come out, does it. Its Partick thistle from the first division. At least we should get 6 points off them next season
