Oddquine - do you need everyhing spelt out ?!! He is making a stance against Butcher by going public when nobody else has done - I suspect for the future of the club and not fer personal gain. That will spook a few people who have tried to keep the wraps on the underlying unrest for some time now. His main beef is that he has asked to play for his place. And, yes I do have a lot of respect for Mr Tokely - as the large majority of true ICT fans have.

Yes - the "power" of the football agent today is alarming but come on peeple - are you trying to say that Hayes had no say in this move and that his "tweet" was a pure cover up.

I have just spoken to Craig Brown who said "of course its true Johndo" and blew a raspberry down the phone. I then spoke to the grandmother of Johnny Hayes who informed me that wee johnny was always " a bit of a fibber". I think I must have got the wrong number for Terry butcher as the respondent said "Feck off" and slammed down the phone when I said who I was.

I just thought that it would be a shrewd piece of PR to "rubbish" all the false reports that are coming out of Aberdire - especially when Johnny is clearing stating that they are all untrue.

DOH - can ICT not offer a statement following assurances from Johnny Hayes that this is all feckin tosh ?

It is a deadline for feedback not contracts - I now really fear that Gillet will be the next one to jump ship.

The club only issue statements about Gavin Morrison. Johnny Hayes "lying" on Twitter about a move being brokered by his agent is about as believable as Ross Tokely "lying" to the media about his discussions with the club about his future !!

Other players past and present have parents as well. IHE could get a job at the Sun putting 2 and 2 together like that and getting anything but 4 I would never get a job fer the Sun as I only post seriously when I am well informed and always do in the strictest of confidence - even when it is direct from the horses mouth. It doesnt always take too much intelligence to work out when I am on the wind up or not !!

I started this thread and added to it in a serious voicing of concern. As Kencar stresses - if you were not worried at the end of this season you must be now. All we need now is for the King rat to jump ship and move in to a position in the Govan Shipbuilding business.

Oddquine - He doesnt want to feckin leave. He is making a stance and that is probably sppoking a lot of people. He CARES for the future of ICT. CaleyD - your basically anti - Tokely rant defies a response. You dont have to be a born and bred Invernessian - it is your sevice, loyalty and committment to the club that counts. Tokely is an ICT Legend - full stop. He is "running" to the press to hopefully enlighten a lot of rose tinted glass wearers to what is actually going on. He IS NOT saying that he wants more money or a better deal - he wants to be given the chance to play fer his feckin place.

But then there are media grabbing, **** stirrring, glory hunting parents and then there are the really genuine, honest, very grounded, down to earth ones. Sun fer some and feckin gospel fer others. Why are some fans doubting the words of a loyal legend ?

Unfortunately some of our players actually play as if they were fixed to a feckin wobbly base and this would never work for us - the pictures are not big enuff to capture the feckin hoof from deep defence well in to the opposing half.

What I was alluding to is that many of the individuals who our "scouting network" have unearthed are no better, often inferior, in comparison with the likes of Ross and Morrison who are then shunted on to the bench at best whilst we provide a playground" to individuals who are merely using us as a stopgap or an addition to their CV's.
