Appreciation Thread
Lets give a round of applause to the players. :thumb04: :018: Despite being shuffled and changed throughout the season, being forced to watch others take unfair precedence, being forced to play out of position, being forced to play in some ridiculous tactical ploys, having to reluctantly and professionally accept evident favouritism, having to accept ridiculous substitutions and probably having no say in things - due to the arrogance of the manager and the total frailty of the management. They have kept fighting fer the cause - possibly due to making a point - and going four points clear of the bottom. Hope they can keep going under the present regime. Three points on Saturday would be a worthy and needed return - if not another nail in the coffin - wish they could ditch the peeple who are feckin up this club. Keep on winning boys - the erseholes always get found out in the end - I can live with staying up and getting rid of the disease.

With a manager prepared to admit his mistakes and change his tactics and selections - maybe ?

ICT -V- Falkirk : Matchnight Thread
The man is drinking in last chance saloon - he cant be seen to make mistakes - I am sure that he thought that if he changed it again and fecked it up that he himself woule be fecked. Lets face it - Esson was the saviour at Hibs - Brew UNFORTUNATELY got lucky. How long do we have to stand this nonsense. Or fortunately Rooney has something to prove - or was that managerial brilliance ? :thumb04: Look on the bright side, at least we only wasted 45 minutes instead of the usual 88. Agree - but it just goes to show his tactical ineptitude - or desperation.

Is that the Imrie favouritism again ? Baz on the left I suppose

Unfortunately Brew is playing it safe and he probably feels that he will be exonerated by playing the same 11 and the same formation again - well the selection is flawed fer a start (always was) and playing at home is different to playing away. He sticks by Wood and then he hooks him (again) - what the **** is he playing at ? Shurely - as the radio is suggesting - he is not playing defensively and on the counter. Is he playing Cowie and Imrie on the wrong flank - may suggest to the few Brewites that this is NOT working. Where did he play Vigurs ? How has Proctor fared ? How much more of this tactical ineptitude do we have to suffer ?

Why not just enjoy it ?
What a load of Pro-Brewster protective tosh. Read some of the post - watch the games - Imrie and Cowie isnt working - that is the feckin poiny ya rosy tinted speccy *******. Does McGeady and Nakamura play on the wrong flank fer the whole game ? It was the feckin manner in which Brew dumped Wyness that wound us up. I am just totally fed up with Brew chopping and changing things and usually getting the tactics wrong.

Hello all!
If he is a Leeds supporter he will probably be on a benefit scam - he should fit in nicely in Foyers.

Heads on a Plate
**** me ya muppet - the first part of your sentence was spot on - and the reason why we havent been getting good results - and whos' fault is that ? Plus could you imagine Ordiles saying Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
-
Wide players
Hairy ya muppet - Did you not notice that at Falkirk - and it happened at Hibs - that Imrie hugged the feckin touchline and Cowie did likewise. When they were defending - especially at Falkirk Duncan and McBain really struggled. We lost the middle of the park at falkirk and we werent doing much better at Hibs until we scored. We looked at our most dangerous when Cowie got fed up and moved to the right - as in the second goal. We tried to get at least ten men behind the ball at all times at Hibs - we defended full stop - but it paid dividend and if we had swopped the wide players it could have been even better.

Duff V Proctor V McGuire
But who in your "opinion" is that? At one point last season I would have said Proctor, but after now seeing Duff and realising Proctor can be pretty useless and McGuire is well unreliable at best, I would have to go for Duff. I would agree - and I am encouraged that Brewster only makes duff decisions.
-
IF ICT folded........
If ICT go defunct I could see at least Brew and Proctor being attracted to Galashiels.

He Believed.....
I much prefer Brewsters' ring.

If you met Brew tomorrow...
Are you bisexual ?

Team for Falkirk
The past 2 games, we have been 4-5-1 however its not really worked as Steve Lovell looks uneasy up on his own. I see Falkirk 4-3-3. PS Latapy coming on is rare these days and when he does hes not done much. Flinders McNamara Barr Aafjes Holden O`Brien Arfield McBride McCann Lovell Higdon Well that is a 4-4-2 as McCann is a bit of a luxury and will drift in between - but even more evidence that we should play 4-5-1. Thanks Yogi.

Wide players
What absolute rubbish Hairy - wide players dont congest the middle of the park !! the best evidence of that was yesterday - when Brew compacted Black, Duncan and Vigurs - good tactics even if he did get lucky after the goal - but Cowie is obviously a right foot and Imrie is a left foot. Have a look at our second goal yesterday - created by Cowie's natural wont to go rite. Top European sides interchange - what do you think Man Ure fans would say if Fergie played Ronaldo on the left fer the whole game or Giggs on the rite - or Gooners about Van Persie on the rite etc., etc. They use it as a tactical switch not the full game plan. If we had used the interchange at Falkirk we may have won - another example of managerial arrogance.
-
Team for Falkirk
As I have alluded to before - we DONT have a striker capable of running the line by themselves. The selection will be very interesting - I suspect that Brew will stick by the Easter Road team cos his job is on the line - me I would put: ESSON PROCTOR DUFF MUNRO MCBAIN COWIE BLACK DUNCAN VIGURS IMRIE ROONEY If Brew survives fer much longer this will be the line up.

IF ICT folded........

Wide players
I totally accept that but why play them fer the whole 90 minutes in that position - I am all for interchanging and I can see how that could work As do Cowie and Imrie. Did you notice which foot Imrie used - did you notice how many times Imrie went at the bye line and crossed with his right - or played a first time ball - and the same fer Cowie. We have one above average wide man and one average wde man - play them fer 60 - 70 % of the game on their chosen peg. They are both evidently frustrated and the non verbal response by Bazza to a few shouts said it all. Perhaps you were played on the left cos ya were the last name on the feckin team sheet.

If you met Brew tomorrow...
To be honest I would say - Hello Mr Brewster - and check whether he had his feckin shoes on the right feet - or the left and right feet - and I would glance at his groin region to check his immediate perception of ma adonis like figure. I would then say - "Can you get rid of Mike Smith?".

Hibernian -V- ICT : matchday thread
Whoa boys - Hibs controlled the first 20-30 minutes - our goal changed the game - and we got the roll of the dice for once and we desreved it - but Brew was playing a mighty strange midfield system before the goal and changed it afterwards - before the goal Vigurs was practically the holding player and was doing a Royster impersonation - after the goal Duncan went back into the hole - Vigurs was given more freedom and excelled himself. IF Hibs had scored first - well - but lets not dwell on IF's.

The ICT Catchment Area
DOH - Fraser, Munro, Wood, Duff, Sutherland - SPL not feckin ***** SFL. Feckin asterisks - qypsy

Credit where credit's due
Sorry guys - but Brewster is a minor irritation - if ya follow a club it should be driven from the heart - I have been feckin cheesed off fer weeks but I am as high as a feckin kite today - and I have been taking my Lithium !! ICT is a feckin drug - Caledonian was a drug - (Thistle was a depressant but we wont go into that) - I go games cos I am totally addicted but I especially love the peeple I meet on ma travels - we are all kindred spirits - well apart from Ralf Milnee - ICT is the best medicine ya could take - take a dose 1-2 a week and feckin see.
