  1. I never really rated him in the SPL but as a left midfielder in the SFL - he could be the business - whats the craic with the man who can ignite the away support ?
  2. Alex MacLeod mentions this on post no 5. Means we will have to put out a young team, which is the norm for this competition Boner Bridge depends on the climax.
  3. This has got to be a measure of Butcher and the muppets - If we are go up - he is a MUST - but will the Muppets give Butcher the spondoolachs to make it happen - Morais - fit - has the makings of a legend - could even be more Bingham-esque in this division.
  4. :D :D :004: :004: WHY ARE SO MANY POSTERS NOW APPARENTLY BEING AFRAID TO SAY WHAT THEY FEEL ? I certainly have doubts about Butcher being a tactician - but he deserves a clean slate this season - so if you think that it was the Muppets and Brewster to blame - just say it - I say it was 100% down to them - they should have apologised but - hey - lets leave byegones behind us - they have had a cut in their wages and they have learned their lessons - and they will never put us down or let us down again.
  5. So does the non response mean that he has actually done feck all fer this club - I am being serious here - honestly - what has he done or what is he doing fer this club ?
  6. He's a hero. Hope he scores the goal that gains us SPL promotion! That would get it right up a few of you Lionel-hating Anti-Zadis on here. Yip - could be an upside down header from his own half. :D :D :004: :004: :D
  7. I think he was referring to playing On line Bingo.
  8. Romani Gypsies - now where have I heard that before ? I would be careful of the terminology you use in case it is viewed as being racist or defamatory.
  9. No - it has developed in to a wider subject - why dont you put it to General nonsense ?
  10. Feckin great news. Another Brewster/Muppet disaster.
  11. Wish they would stop peeple pm'ing me - its full of feckin complaints. Never knew Jacko was a big West Ham fan - apparently they are playing their anthem at his funeral.
  12. If I supported Newcastle I would be going to watch somebody else as well. And leave the man alone - most cnuts from Mackemland can only afford to go on one trip a year.
  13. It is no coincidence that his return and evidently his continuing presence has been a major factor in the club retaining a lot of the squad. I have a sneaky suspicion that we are now not far off the completed squad - I was hoping - even though I do not wholly agree with the concept - that Butcher may well be also able to attract a couple of loan players for a season as well. Gawd - I am actually beginning to look forward to the season. But how I wish that Butcher had arrived last November / December - still I suppose you cant blame anyone for that.
  14. Well every press release cant be as good and the word resign can lead to one forgetting that there is another meaning - Proctor and Zadi have signed up.
  15. This post by IHE has been removed by Johndo MacKenzie
  16. I think that the major factor was that it now appears that Butcher is going to carry on and I am reliably informed that there were doubts and that evidently was a factor in regard to the players and contracts. I really hope that the Butcher factor in conjunction with the Setanta flop may lead to us starting the season with the same squad as last season, minus Black, Fraser and Kerr. Then we have a REAL chance of promotion. I would love to sign an out and out forward and a playmaker in midfield - I would look at Cregg and even Lovell who the Bairns have jettisoned.
  17. Cannot understand how my original post was debarred during a period of moderation as I was actually trying to point out that paplazaroo was a devoted ICT fan and, if the post was not sarcasm laden, that it spoke volumes for Mr Smith. Believe it or not I have met him and he comes across as an intelligent, articulate and professional individual. I can only also admit that we clash due to our disagreements - and he got the job I applied for !! I asked for people to leave out the personal stuff and tell me and the rest of the forum exactly what this guy does and what he has achieved for ICT - From my perspective he is an erstwhile management figure but does he liaise with the public ? Does he raise the profile of ICT ? I know that it was a joke but there was no Job Description or Job Specifiaction for the post.
  18. Why dont we get renegade to simply talk to the opposition for 10 minutes prior to a game - If that dosent do their frckinheads in - then what feckin would. Dont you just worry about the yoof these days ?!! :(
  19. Personally I am just delighted that Butcher is back and at the helm. This is a real BIG chance for him to really prove himself as a coach, a manager and a motivator. He talks the talk but he aint exactly been a raging success. Now is the season to show his worth. I reckon that the strong rumours about Butcher and Falkirk have led to some players waiting to see if he was still going to be around and I suspect that they would be more reassured talking to him about their futures and the clubs instead of listening to the ramblings of one of the muppets. hoprfully Brewster if firing out the fines as well as the laps. :(
  20. Not a topic I get into as it infuriates me - As part of the Trauma Response I actually worked with the family of a victim from a wee village close to Chorley - There is far more to this than has been published. I evidently cant talk about it but feckin wish that I could. That specific season I was following Everton and we went to Hillsborough on the Bank Holiday prior to the Cup game - ended 1-1 as I recall - I was in the same standing section behind the goal - and that day Everton fans broke through - or were allowed through a gate - and the standing lower section was packed. In retrospect there wasnt the same crowd there as I recall that many of us moved to the side to let the others in - but I can always remember worrying about the rush and that a crush would happen and being confined shoulder to shoulder like I hadnt been for many years. That day the cops eventually let the lower section in to the neighbouring home stand and making a demarkation line - again that could not have happened at the disaster - Many Everton fans have pointed this game out since as it felt that the media were saying that it was a one off. As far as I am concerned - it was an accident waiting to happen - but not in the scale that did. And as the Toffees say - They werent just Scousers / Reds - They were football fans - There by the Grace of God etc. These were families that lost their loved ones, their "babies" - until you have been there you cant truly understand that.
  21. Have to give my apolgies again - Mrs IHE is in the Costa de Sol on a hen weekend and the mentally ill of Lancashire are dependent on me - plus I am doing things in moderation at the moment. Somebody shake the better half's hand and give the lesser a kiss from me - Love ya Paul :002: xx
  22. If decisions are made between moderators - then may I paranoidally suggest that there is a lot of two faced-ness going on.
  23. Said it throughout last season but the only safe place is out of the back four - but I think he could be put on either wing - preferably on something sponsored by Fly be flying South.
  24. Aye ya feckin Bino **** - i'll put some spondoolachs in - Can I be resurrected on your forum though as I am on the point of being banned from this one.
