They were asked in May so it could be a Brewster / Shearer partnership. Given the happenings of the last 18 months I would feckin grab them. This club needs sorting out and quick.

Fair comment SP but all I am trying to stress is that he has not impressed me. When you get a "superstar" and a player on four times the wage then you expect to see something special. He was brought in to entertain us and bring more people into the ground.To me it has been nothing out of the ordinary. IMHO his inclusion cost us the last 6 points. probably becos there was pressure to start him before he was ready. The other players, do not forget, are also professionals and if they have any feelings similiar to mine they will be an extremely pissed off bunch. Lets hope he does improve as his fitness returns. I will be the first to extol him.

This is going to be REALLY interesting. Will the Board go for another puppet on a string character or will they actually approach experienced, strong minded individuals who will not take being told what to feckin do.

What surprises me is that it is so much of a shock to everybody but that also shows how little fans know what is really going on behind the scenes !! Charlie handed in his resignation in January but was convinced to stay. He also made it clear that he wanted to go after we failed to get into the Top Six. Charlie was made a scapegoat. Many of the fans decried CC for some of the errors seen on the pitch. The bottom line is that Charlie had little say in regard to signings etc. His resignation has little to do with the fan reaction - his health forced the issue. Charlie was hounded by individuals who are rumoured to have our club at heart but they manipulated him and eventually sacrificed him. I hope the two faced bestards are choking on their feckin breakfasts this morning but I expect that they will be lauding themselves in the Press, voicing their shock and not their feckin guilt. :008:
