  1. What about the Football Times ?
  2. ;) :015: :thumb04: How could any eejit respond in full to that ? FilthStand has real issues - Ive got yet another adulating stalker. :018:
  3. The question is about feckin wind - these must be the only cnuts on here who would ask the stoopid question and proffer a serious answer. :thumb04: :018:
  4. Sorry - complicated word - its another word for jealousy darling.
  5. Renegade is a feckin Brazil nut - I suspect he requires my professional help. :thumb04:
  6. I think that it has been said on another thread Gillian - but Blackie would only even consider staying if he knew that Butcher was as well - that could be the crucial factor. As Yngwie says that is a "biggie" all round. Blacks decision may lead us to the other. Of course it was down to Brewster and the muppets - some of us saw what was happening way down the line - there cant be any now who can see how poorly Blackie was treated.
  7. Aye - but according to Mannie's formation he was playing in the "hole" behind the front two - now could that be a sign of the times.
  8. This forum is becoming increasingly intriguing from a psychological perspective. Many individuals appear to be trying to uphold a sense of optimism - possibly over - optimism in some quarters. Bickering and petty feuding is becoming a common place occurence. Name calling is at an all time high ? Are we trying to compensate for the fear that we may not actually survive. Are we projecting our anxieties on to others ? Are we stressed out and showing vulnerability ? Any form of criticism or wit is being scorned upon - is that again a form of denial, projection, intellectualisation, displacement or rationalisation ? Some posters are displaying pathological defensive mechanisms and others immature and neurotic - the stabler posters - like ma good self - are displaying mature defense mechanisms. Lets face it - this has been the worst season EVER - we are deep in the doodoo - we are on the brink of relegation - we have a manager trying to scrape everything out of an inherited squad - we have a team playing without a recognised striker - we have a team collected in a frantic / panicky January transfer window - we have a team lacking in togetherness and match fitness - we have a team that has been damaged by the management prior to the Butcher appointment. I am feckin really worried - Relegation is a real threat - it is a distinct possibility - I BELIEVE - but that belief is significantly more tenuous than it was in the first season - at the moment I am praying and hoping - I aint convinced. This could go to the wire. If any of yas disagree with that you are fooling yerselves. So what can we do ? If ya criticise put a clear rationale behind it. But lets do all of that after 90 minutes and after the last ball has been kicked. We have a weakened squad who are probably doing their uptmost even though some of them may not be up to the standard required. Committment and fight may overcome the odds. God bless ya Terry Butcher - our life is in your hands - and that is good enuff fer me.
  9. Have a peep at the Memorial Thread on the Pie and Bovril - Highland League. There may be a lot of bitterness etc on there but they all come across as being true, genuine Caley Fans - I am sure that there are equally as many true but bitter jeggies as well. CB / Mantis - where can i access the old scores / fixture lists etc. I recall most of the memories but not the dates !! But how many of the pre merger brigade are now supporting ICT ? Why did you start supporting ICT ? What do you think of the stay away population ? ME: Evidently I am - I stayed away fer the first 3 seasons - went reluctantly to a game and got the passion again - but it took me another 2 seasons to admit to it and then I got hooked. This site and the Internutters welcomed me with open arms and it has felt like a "family" ever since. I just want to support Sneckie football - most games I think I am supporting "Caley" anyway. I can really understand why many feel bitter and betrayed (especially Jeggies) but I cannot understand their venom at times. It is akin to a Blocked Grief Reaction - To me the Howden End is dead and buried but it will live on in my heart for ever. There were some great memories both on and off the park.
  10. Is it fair to single out and ridicule individual players ?
  11. Is it fair to single out and ridicule certain individuals ?
  12. Shall I pm ya roddy or are you going to the Killie game ?
  13. Fer fecks sake - has anybody actually bothered to read the first post - and he accuses me of self importance, talking keek and being over critical. :thumb04: :018: ;) Butcher is clearly committed to the 4-4-2 and I suspect that he will continue to stick to the back / midfield 9 as long as they are a winning outfit. It is very much nine men behind the ball away from home and hit on the counter tactics. At home he looks to having at least 6 behind the ball with two holding players and two forward movers. I still feel that he will change the front two - he surprised everybody by his Castle Greyskull formation. I still hope that he is awaitng the fitness of Foran and Morais before giving them a new role - Rooney I suspect will be his substitute card.
  14. heist ? cos anything else is a feckin asterisk As in stole the scene - stole the show etc., etc.
  15. Spot feckin on - There is no comparison to that three.
  16. Possibly the most sensible post of this thread - Bless you my son - I think I will just suffice with a Knighthood in honour of my services to Scottish Football.
  17. I note that there is a bit more slating of Lionel going on. Isnt it not time that we gave him some slack and let him get over it. Lets face it - the man was psychologically damaged by the Brewster regime - his confidence and esteem were rock bottom - he was on the verge of ICT extinction. Yet Terry has breathed life into the deflated baloon and Lionel is beginning to get himself pumped up again. He is loyal, he is brave, he is willing to put his body on the line, he is fit, he has a bit of a pace. OK he is lacking in some of the more technical elements and natural talent but he will not let us down again. Mark my words cos I am rarely wrong. Oops - missed ma tea time Olanzapine. :thumb04: :018:
  18. :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: Post of the feckin thread - get yer knickers untwisted or push the Ignore button - At least I got ya excited and animated - hit yer footballing G-spot. Have I not created animated debate and here is me willing to listen to all of you and then I get shot down fer voicing my own opinion. You have criticsed as many players in one post as I have in my career. You and I have every rite to criticise Duncan and Munro - after the game. I am simply saying it as I see it and I reckon that I support ICT as much as the next person. My posts are primarily positive in the main - I always give rationales and try to add positives - they are critical but constructive. But I do appear to be able to pull off the odd admirable wind up as well. :D
  19. :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: :D :P Keep yer feckin wigs on peeple. Such envy from the pitiful masses - I suppose I am the ICT Forum equivalent of Jason Gardiner, Simon Cowall or Craig Revel. The problem is that I am an "expert" but I say it as I see it. Some peeple cant face the blunt truth, especially when they have an affinity to a certain player. Fortunately the large majority of posters and ICT fans agree with me and that is good enuff. The pitiful few are so up their own erses that they cannot see their bias or their matriarchal and patriarchal protectiveness. As with ma peers - Jason, Simon and Craig - few stop to actually read my posts and put them into context, realise that I am putting down the positives and the negatives - from my expert personal perspective. Marius was a fine player - he could produce a great piece of skill - he had class, he had a great first touch, mature positioning, played it simple and could play a mean first time pass but he was slow, immobile and carrying a long term injury - that has all been proven. He was an asset at home and a hindrance away - until the final weeks of the season. My main venom was that I slagged him off from the start but I was alluding to the fact that he clearly wasnt fit and should not have played from the start - even Marius admitted that. So now peeps - go back at my mixed reviews on Lionel - as per usual I will be proved right in the end and dont bother to apologise.
  20. Here is a new avatar fer ya MrsICTFC I actually find maself attracted to it
  21. Note that on the Killie team thread that nobody is going fer Imrie up front - well apart from Dead Wood and well - I really feel that we should start Foran up front and drop Imrie back - I did consider Rooney but I think we need some pace - I would go fer Morais rather than Eric in that respect. Can I have some responses but keep it civil.
  22. Aye ah can see the logic there - but is Rooney ready and experienced enuff fer the scrap.
  23. Yes I can understand yer answer dearie but in football it often happens that tacticians, coaches and managers look at how a player has performed in a wee bit more than in the last six games. Now go and do the ironing and leave the football thinking to the lads. I take it you model yerself on Marge ??
  24. Just checked it and yes it should have been 1/4 - cos yer answer to number 4 is feckin tremendous sarcasm and deserves a point.
