  1. Perhaps I should have said have we the experience and the bottle ? - when I look at the other teams we are on a level with Killie and Hamilton but lagging behind Midden and the Bairns. I actually think that it is the rose coloured erseholes like Absent Friend and Sorted - who are probably sweetie rustlers who tut tut at the yoof - whose whingeing is sickening. Our support - in the main - especially on Saturday - is as good as Stoke or many - at least we turned up in force - and some of us sang and sang and sang. This is the place to sound off and complain - but some erseholes tut tut at that as well. PATHETIC. When the decrying do gooders sit with the Sesh Army and join in - then they will gain respect.
  2. Cue more abuse - I Believe but I am beginning to have a few nagging concerns - I just hope that Butcher drops his apparent favour of certain players and puts a more attacking emphasis on the system and plays the BEST X1 every feckin week. I'll be truckin till the death.
  3. Butch has put him to the bottom of the pecking list - I would be interested to know why ? I would be playing him in left mid as soon as possible - I would be happy enuff with McBain in there as well.
  4. :thumb04: :018: ;) Thought that post may bring out the erseholes - sad to see Charlie B joining the sensitive Prlcks !!! Suppose it shows that we are all getting very nervy. I was actually being very serious from my personal perspective - some (who have joined in the debate and not concentrated on slagging me - again) have agreed with me to a degree, made some good points and it is all about personal perspectives - that is what a feckin fan forum is about. I believe in Butcher and I think that he will keep us up - He has inherited a team which isnt his fer fecks sake - he is learning as it goes on - I would love to challenge him face to face _ I am sure that he would probably give a rationale. But he does appear to be making mistakes tactically - that is why I ask if he has local knowledge / direction. We are now going into survival mode - we cannot afford to take on passengers. I would have hoped that he has susse out the squad by now and stopped his nonsense of if you play well you also play the next game - that may have been needed initially but it now has to go - as he is beginning to do. I want to survive - I want Butcher to stay and build - but he aint a Messiah - we all make feckin mistakes. I aint telling him how or who to play - I am voicing my opinion. And the total feckin erseholes who suggest that it is anti management are just sad feckers. Well except the feckin Muppets who dropped us in it and only succumbed cos the Fabulous Twenty and the Supporters Trust ousted them. :015:
  5. :thumb04: :018: ;) Does dead wood fancy Lionel or wot ? Was that ULTRA defensive or what ? I said it was part of it fer fecks sake.
  6. Well I may as well be the first fecker :thumb04: I would love to know who exactly is providing Butch and Miss Pass with the local background knowledge as they should be the first fecker/s jettisoned into the Firth via the sewage. The two saviours are beginning to make a few mystifying decisions and I am concerned as we are in the biggest scrap of our existence and they are making - what I consider to be - errors of judgement. Why are they not playing Granty and Pavels as a right/left combination - which appears to work better - but insisting in playing Granty as the marker which is clearly not his forte. This is very serious but how can the Assistant Manager of a National Team - a feckin centre half - continue to play Lionel - That is actually VERY worrying. He must realise that he has Hastings or McBain in the background. I would expect him to look at Hastings experience and pitch him in NOW. I would favour McBain but he is an unknown/untried quantity to Butcher. Why did he hook Pavels yesterday - that appeared to be the worst decision of his short spell with us - It simply had to be Lionel - He should have gone Rosscoe - Pavels - Munro - Unless Pavels had picked up an injury ? Surely Black and Kerr are the favoured central midfield We have no width - playing Proctor and Foran does not provide that - or is it a deliberate defensive ploy ? What is wrong with Morais - or especially what is wrong with Vigurs ? Why didnt he come on yesterday. Can understand the forward problem BUT why not play Foran as the main man - Imrie isnt the answer and neither is Rooney - yet - with experience maybe ? Why not combine Foran with Obdhiambo and Morais and drop Imrie back or introduce Vigurs.
  7. In the aftermath of the Killie and Falkirk games - I am actually beginning to have doubts. We are looking very nervy already - the "honeymoon" Butcher period is well and truly over - and I think that we need to get in the experience. Everton called them the "Dogs of War" and I reckon we have to call on the likes of Rosscoe, Munro, McBain, Black, Kerr and Foran to take a lead here. (no pun intended !!) We need a settled team fer the split and we havent got that at the moment. We have to ruthlessly throw out the flotsam. The experience of Bullen, Presslie and McNamara plus the enthusiasm of the lesser lights shone through yesterday. We now need to settle in a backbone. This could go to the wire and this is no place for sentiment. Play the best X1 every week - even if somebody stepping in has a good game.
  8. I would still perservere with Munro but that - as usual - davie - is pretty spot on. Care to comment on dropping Lionel ?
  9. Well some of you will appreciate this BUT this is my last post on this thread becos I am so worried that what I said in the first place is going to come true. The Bottom line is that : He is NOT a SPL player - In the Daily Retard he described yesterday as the biggest game of his career - WTF - if he is as nervous as that yesterday what is he going to be like in the Split trenches. He made basic mistakes yesterday but got off with them - for how long ? He looked totally lost at times and his cover defensive positioning is NON FECKIN EXISTENT. What really worried me yestreday was that there were several occasions when Esson, Munro, Pavels, Black and Duncan could have played simple balls to Lionel but decided against it - that is REALLY worrying. The match report in the Scottish News of the World (SCORE pullout) says LIONEL DJEBI ZADI - 5/10 " Looked like an accident waiting to happen". He is undoubtedly a great guy, a bit of a "cult figure" but many are now worried - He has strength, he has pace, he is loyal and committed but he is a BIG BIG danger to our survival.
  10. This is going to increase my popularity but here are a few reasons that I think that Granty has been playing poorly in the recent games. He has been given old fashioned centre half marking jobs by Butcher and Pavels has been given a free role. I thought that they were better when they held a line and took left and right runners. If you ever played central defence you would understand that. I think that anyone, in our current predicament, would feel under pressure as a captain, but especially if you are a local born and bred Invernessian. It is clearly a case that he is now scared to make a mistake and resolves to the hoof as a defence. But I also think that he is clearly overcompensating and suffering from having to play a nursemaid to Lionel. Again if you have ever played in defence you must now what it is like to have an unreliable player at full back. He is covering Lionel as well and he rarely passes to Lionel like he did with Hastings. It must be a feckin nightmare.
  11. Lets get back to the point - That was as good a travelling support of "lads" as we have had in a long time. I actually believe that the stewards may have planned all along to split us. If we had all stayed together in the back four or five rows the place would have been absolutely rocking - but they split us up into 3-4 groups and it wasnt anywhere near effective. It was good to see the old gits at the back joining in every now and again - I feel 30 years younger now I have joined the SESH Army :thumb04: And it is feckin ages since I sat/stood three rows from the front, did the bouncy and sang "Sit down: Shut up: :018: The Barrowman boy was a bit of a pain though cos that is all he did - but from where I was he only did it a couple of times and was wound up by Barrowmans reaction - I did tell him to give it a wee rest. I thought Hairy Chibber should have been thrown out twice - once for arguing with a steward and then fer allowing me to kiss him. ;) Lets make it a date fer the Away Day "splits".
  12. Just watched the Setanta highlights and Finnigan looked well offside. Rooney came back to tackle but there is no doubt that the linesman made a mare. Second goal - Higdon took his marker Granty out of position - won the header - looked like Pavels left the second header to Lionel - who stood there in DOH mood - Rosscoe tried to fill in but Stewart outpaced him. They can all share the blame. Third goal - Lionel at complete fault that the cross came in - I thought that Esson was unlucky. Fourth goal - Well Rosscoe was out of position - he was going fer it - Granty got pulled out of the middle and Lionel was jogging back to cover.
  13. ESSON :015: :D He actually showed a lot of urgency and did well when he had to. His frustration got the better of him but having watched the Setanta highlights I thought that he was rather unlucky to get sent off - It looked like a slightly mistimed, genuine challenge for the ball. Still it was by the books a yellow but not a straight red and he would have gone anyway. ROSSCOE :thumb04: :018: ;) :D MOM - What he sometimes misses in skill and dexterity he makes up for with toil, sweat and effort. He REALLY looked as if he was dying fer the cause - and that is what we are going to need in the next few weeks. PAVELS :P :021: :D :D For 60 minutes looked like the only class player on the pitch - except fer McNamara - and hooking him was an unbelievable decision GRANTY :D :D :D As I said last week he has the unforgiving job of man marking and he tends to get dragged out of position instead of holding his line - e.g second goal. But I will get stick fer this but he is overcompensating fer Lionel and is trying to keep an eye on him as well. LIONEL :D :D Come on Mannie - fer 30 minutes he did OK but he got away with some basic mistakes but clobbered it - He was absolutely dire in the second half - he looked completely lost. This week the actual NOW player report was that he was an accident waiting to happen. PROCTOR :D :D We simply dont need him if we have two solid central midfielders - we need to start playing someone like Morais who can give us some width. He is a good enuff defender but he gives us nothing going forward. DUNCAN :D :D Poor game. Distribution and pasing were awful. Where was Kerr ? BLACK :D :D :D :D Another who ran his heart out - when he got possession he was often left with few attacking options - But he is dying for the cause. FORAN :D :D :D Another one with a gutsy display but where was he playing - he appeared to be interchanging with Imrie and that didnt work. Get him playing as the main forward asap. IMRIE :D :D What a lot of us knew already - He was a stop gap striker - inconsistent - get him back wide or give Vigurs a chance. ROONEY :D :D :D Certainly does a shift but lacks the final touch - but he is only learning - and we need experience.
  14. Gawd bless the Supporters Trust and the whingeing Twenty.
  15. You have finally reduced me to feckin tears.
  16. It means that the club and the fans should be indebted and the Muppets feel that they have the rite to walk over everybody and we should never challenge their decisions. Power. If it was down to business I would say fair dos but when it influences the on-pitch affairs they can all get to feck.
  17. In a manner of speaking - You have a lot to learn but you are clearly an ersehole and could be the next IHE.
  18. SESH ARMY - OAP DIVISION :018: :thumb04:
  19. :015: :thumb04: :018: ;) You dont know what youre doing !! He would be the first name on my teamsheet every week - except this week - cos I am worried that he wont be able to cope with the pressure and it is a big game and he may let us down. If Jimmy gets through Seterday he may well prove a lot of us wrong. :D
  20. Well done Pavels and Latviaman. :thumb04: Unfortunately that may be very BAD news as well - We may now be saying Bye Bye in the Summer.
  21. He came over from Gay Paris, Zadi, Zadi Said Caley are the team for me, Zadi, Zadi Hes 6 foot 2 wi lots of flair, We'd rather Maldini, but we don't care, Jimmy Zadi, Caley's number 3. :015: :thumb04: :018: ;)
  22. Which group do you fall into then? Yoof or old ****? IHE falls into the middle of them :thumb04: Mentally perhaps :015: :018: ;) Or are ya talking about collapsing into the middle of them ? By the way - who was the old **** in the North Stand on Seterday who started singing a lot ? :D Was that 5th Stand ?
  23. :D :D :thumb04: :018: I am afraid that the first sentence and the third sentence are rather contradictory !!! And he would be the FIRST name ? ;) :D :015: :D :P :021: :D :D :D :D The defence rests.
  24. Just think about it though - It gives ya the opportunity to then stand up, hold yer arms up high and laud the CALEY. When I first started going it was a Tink song - feck that - I'd rather be a Jaggie than a Tink.
  25. Amazing supporters we have - BBC radio .......''the ball has now broken to Djebi-zadi and - would you believe it - a tense silence has broken out all over the stadium, all that can be heard is the intake of breath by IHE as he prays for a mistake to back up his Forum theory'' Aye, right, we have the message!! You are such a bitter person - I have already been proved rite unfortunately. You just look at the positive attributes that I describe about him. He is unorthodox and nearly everybody I spoke to at the weekend agree with my comments. I can assure you it is not I who is bitter! Just read your own offerings re this guy! You being 'rite' that this player would make a mistake I must concede BUT you could have carried out your vendetta against Grant Munro and been equally correct. Against Esson and been equally correct. For the record, their mistakes could have a bigger impact on our future than DZ's. Our whole team of players are problems waiting to happen, we are a small team, our players reflect this and therefore they make mistakes!! Even the great MU on Saturday made mistakes and they are not a wee team!! To finish on DZ, I obviously have more trust in the management team than you do - I feel that the guy is there on merit as the competitors for his position are all back to full fitness - the pundits, the professional ones, all seem to give the player pass and above marks each time he plays - for Heavens sake , give the guy a break!! . Have you actually read my posts - They are technically and tactically correct - What I said was that I feared that he would make a mistake that would cost us dearly - and he feckin did. Fer your thick bonce I will say that he is more prone to making an error than any other regular squad player and he does not appear as technically and tactically gifted as the majority of his peers - HAPPY ??
