Charlie Christie resigns
I aint been warned off by anybody on this occasion and as Scotty may well verify I am cagey becos a.) it has been threatened before as it has against CD and Scotty (twice to me) - not by the club b.) That I evidently get fed info and I will NEVER say where from and c.) The "warnings" from any club source come "second-hand. Or is it more than twice Scotty ? :001:

New Manager
As I said on another thread - it is a question of knowing when I am on the wind up and when I am not. :003: This time I am 100% correct. :001:

A plea from the heart
Exactly. The health issues have been constant since January at least. There were cries for help in January and March - according to Grasser.

From this mornings 'Herald'

From this mornings 'Herald'
"The first I knew was over the weekend when Charlie told me the stress of management was becoming far worse than he had expected. He felt that, in fairness to his wife and family, he needed to step down." "Charlie is an emotional guy and can say things in the heat of the moment. In January and then in March there were similar scenarios." The two statements dont tally. I suspect that the words of Grasser do actually reflect guilt and remorse which is encouraging. Being a close friend and a "line manager" is a very difficult position to be in. As I said on another thread Grasser is talking the "party line" but the "bottom line" is that this should have happend at the end of last season. I describe stress as the "pint pot of life" - CC's was brimming at the top fer months and I cant help feeling that the signing of Niculae and the circumstances may have led to CC's "pint pot" frothing up and overflowing. That would be the straightforward psychological formulation. As with most aspects of life we will never know - but I fer one am going to confront certain individuals face to face. This statement oozes personal emotion and professional restraint. Reading between the lines helps me put my feelings on this to bed. Another Saturday beckons, CC is "free" and I will be there shouting on my team - and criticising if appropriate!! O2 feckin B :003:

Bennett confirms Brewster shortlisted
Oh - I actually think that Brewster and Shearer will preserve our SPL status but I bet the subject of Niculae was high on the agenda. It is the manner in which it has happened that sticks in the throat and IMHO will leave a bad taste for a long time to come. Just empahsises that football is a cut throat business these days with no room fer sentiment or loyalty.

HEADLINE CREATION
Now you really do disappoint me - I thought that you were one of the more intelligent ones who could judge when I am taking the P and when I am not. :001:

HEADLINE CREATION
Now that really is beyond the boundaries of belief. Colin Hendry is an ersehole. :rotflmao:

Cometh the Hour
Why does nobody want to talk about Marius. It is not as if he had anything to do with CC's resignation. This is his big chance to become another Sneck Legend.

Bennett confirms Brewster shortlisted
Fer fecks sake - of course it is a done deal. It was practically agreed at the end of last season. And then - hey presto - Park disappears and in comes Shearer. So that means that it will be announced either just after the game or on Sunday morning. THIS STINKS.

A plea from the heart
May I remind you of your first contribution on this thread. And then your second: And then, like a complete and utter ersehole, ya actually prove yer dimwittedness with a pathetic attempt to ridicule me. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Charlie Christie resigns
I have a sneaky feeling that Charlie would have given this forum a wide feckin berth. IMHO a lot of the criticism was justifiable and even Charlie admitted a lot of it at the end of the season. He had far more stresses than CaleyThistleOnline.

Positive Messages to Charlie
So I would say - personally and professionally to CC - You will always be a legend in my eyes and many others. You have helped ICT out in their hour of need but it is time to put yourself and your family first.

Who should replace Charlie Christie?
What about Razor Ruddock and Vinnie Jones ?

Most Likley problem why the Club is not performing On and Off the Park
It has just dawned on me that Charlie does a lot of standing up during a game. Perhaps he has been ejected from the stadium to set an example to the Singing Section.

Charlie Christie resigns
Yes name names please. Surely this would have all bubbled to the surface long before now?? Well I fer one have named names in a certain situation before and almost ended up being sued - and I have been warned already on this occasion as well. I totally agree with Caley D - ya can all put yer own conclusions and assumptions to the content. Wanderer - Sub judice it is not but the right of freedom of expression is unfortunately open to defamation actions on the grounds of libel and slander. Me - I am more enraged that the management - and I will in this instance point the finger firmly at Grasser and Alan Savage - as they APPEAR to have allowed an employee - and also a friend - to become unwell despite the fact that Charlie admitted to be struggling and quite evidently was. It would appear that Charlie may well have been cajoled and manipulated into staying and his love for the club was used as the emotional bait. For this reason alone, if I am correct, I hope they both feel as guilty as feck. They may well have done it for the good of the club as well but personal health needs appear to have been sadly missed. As fer me - I have learned to use double meanings and sarcasm as a defence mechanism. I have been regularly posting about this situation since the beginning of the year, in my protective ranting. I am actually finding it quite scary that many people are genuinely shocked and in the dark about some of the behind the scenes rumouring.

Brewster NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
But just contemplate the partnership of Brewster and Niculae !!
