Could you imagine Brewster or the muppets coming up with that quote !! Yet another feckin slur on the club management of recent months.

What is the background Chris ? Did ya pen the Brewster article ? Were ya waving your shoe at the time ?

This is extremely embarrasing - we need confirmation that the ICT kilt has urine stains, skidmarks and an authentic lived in aroma - I intend to model the real deal at Castle Greyskull and on the Brechins Bar catwalk. I will also avail myself if any kind indidual would like to share their functions or aromas with me. -

It isnt criticism - it is concern. Perhaps he is just another "victim" of the Brewster and the muppets era. Lets just hope that history doesnt repeat itself. This year is just as much about passion and committment after all. -
What a tedious pair of toshers !! Yet another doddery twosome who cant see the meaning behind the post. I am voicing a personal critical concern which is backed, to varying degrees, by most of the unblinkered posters on here. Zebidee is doing better than anybody expected and hopefully he will maintain his confidence and get through games unscathed. At the moment he deserves to be in there but I simply feel that the likes of McBain would be the better medium and long term answer.

Spot on Stan - I drift back to his display at Clyde in the Championship winning penultimte game. He has suffered by walking in Rosscoe's shadow and he may well have had a run last season if it hadnt been for injury and very untimely suspensions. He is another stop gap in midfield who has taken the opportunity to impress. I reckon that he may be the first choice right back next season. And playing him in central defence is yet another clear feckin farce we suffered under Brewster and the muppets.

Craig Brewster Well Done
IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER replied to CBsBluenRedArmy's topic in General Football
I wish Brewster all the best - I reckon he could still do a job fer a lower league outfit - and I really do hope that he sticks around long enuff to manage Tinkerville - oh gawd do I hope that. :thumb04: -
I agree 100%. It seems to me that certain posters on here can't wait for Zadi to mess up so that they can be first in with the 'I told you so' comments What a load of tosh - I have been critical cos I simply do not think that he is a full back and I am concerned that he is in a position where he will make a mistake that could really cost us. Long may he continue to flourish but history suggests that his playing well spells are short lived. Castle Greyskull may well tell us if he really has the bottle for the fite.

I think that we simply have to put our faith in Butcher and support the team. He has certainly dragged us out of the mire created by Brewster and the muppets - We have a lot of "winnable" games coming up and the split five are all there to be won. At the moment we have to keep in touch with the rest and then get ourselves in the mix. The pressure is well and truly on. We need everyone to be giving their all - I also suspect that Butcher will soon look to starting his strongest 11 as much as possible as most are now hitting peak fitness. As I said on another thread he has been picking a team based on passion, sticking by them to send out a message to the others - he is playing some out of position becos of their style and or pace - again I suspect that will soon change - as the pressure increases.

Do you ever actually feckin read my posts ?? Have another read fer fecks sake. You really can be a very sad and bitter *******. It is called debate - airing an opinion and respecting or trying to understand the opinions of others. Still - it appears that the majority agree with me :thumb04: -

Totally agree BUT what could Butcher do about it - He obviously looked at the front line employed by Brewster and the Muppets and must have thought - Waht the feck? He is probably waiting fer Foran and Morais to hit fitness - Rooney is "raw" - Reckon that Rooney and Foran ar the chosen ones BUT we aint got time - And Who's fault is that ? -

IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER replied to IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER's topic in Caley Thistle
Starcheif - when ya have a week to do business ya go with what ya know - if TB had six weeks ?? Eric is "raw" and has the pace to upset SPL defenders - if TB had six weeks ? Tokes is a legend but he is being targetted by the likes of the OF - other than that he can be sound - but we have to look fer a replacement or some Real cover. Zadi is a real mare waiting to happen - he isnt a full back - FULL FECKIN STOP. He is going to cost us. Who do you play in place of Munro ? - Now if TB had six weeks ?? - would Elvis have come ? Pavels needs experience - just dream about Pavels / Mann or Pavels / Dods ?? Can ya afford to chuck in Duff or Maguire - Now if TB had six weeks ?? Kerr was a "panic buy" - Now if TB had six weeks - then Kerr would have been fit ?? Foran isnt fit - Now if TB had six weeks ?? - Foran is a proved natural goalscorer AND we aint got another - have we ? IT IS TOO FECKIN LATE - WE HAVE TO WORK WITH WHAT WE HAVE GOT. -
He has the potential to be a class act. Sorry - but he takes chances and has got off with them - just a few times. He has immense potential - Grant is actually the senior player - He has covered fer Pavels at times and hasnt got the credit - Pavels is yer more cultured defender - Grant is yer no nonsense defender - Ya need both - gelling - in yer system to get it to work. Butcher = Munro / Des Walker = Pavels - Get my drift ?

Why ? Why are we persisting ?

Famine Song At The Motherwell Game
IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER replied to Glen Mhor's topic in Caley Thistle
Heard the Steelers singing it in the Supporters Club :018: :thumb04: Waht are the words ? -
Latviaman - Pavels is as good a signing as we can get - but HE IS INEXPERIENCED and he is STILL LEARNING HIS TRADE - He has (unfortunately) provided great hope - but over expectation as well - in his first few games - I think that he could eventually REALLY bond with Munro - tactically they are made fer each other - BUT the pressure is to bond today and NOT tomorrow. He has to stay at the end of the season - I would break the feckin bank fer him - I still think he could be a major factor in regard to keeping us up. Come clean fer fecks sake - The Muppets ignored yer tips fer ages - Brewster is getting the plaudits fer signing a **** he had no feckin clue about !! Get yer Latvian spondoolachs out and get me in to the feckin frame.

Would it be possible fer blackieforce to e-mail Tommy Cumming and invite him for a meal in Aviemore - It may not sort out the pitch but it may do this feckin site a big feckin favour. -
Just to inform the papparazzi - I have just had the tattoo on my erse copyrighted.

Famine Song At The Motherwell Game
IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER replied to Glen Mhor's topic in Caley Thistle
If they were standing up at the time the yellow jacketed erseholes - with limited intelligence - would have acted. -
We are about to enter the most defining few weeks of our short existence - What happens in March / April and May can actually have an everlasting effect on the functioning of ICT - I really think that it is that serious - I am very conerned that relegation could be extermination or a dive downwards. We possibly have matured too quickly. So I offer my - I accept - provocative - post on the Well Game thread - but I have included REAL concerns in it: Although it is a wee bit premature to start worrying about the drop I am heartened that the "honeymoon" period and the slight hysteria has been quelled and a sense of reality is returning. The bubble hasnt exactly burst - It is more like bubblegum which we have to pop back in our gobs, chew a bit more and start blowing up the bubble again. The only problem is that Brewster and the Muppets have chewed a lot of the flavour and pliability out of the bubble gum and poor Butcher will have to chew like a feckin manic billy goat to get a bubble firm and solid enuff to last till the end of the season. Butcher inherited this squad with no time to regroup and his "signings" - apart from Foran possibly - were all "panic buys". He simply is trying to do the best with what he has been given. And dont forget that this is practically a new squad fer 2009 and players and teams take time to gel and get to know each other. And dare I ask the question - "Whos' feckin fault is that?". Esson is prone to the odd bloomer - what goalie isnt ? Who is there (honestly) fer rite back either than Tokely - Zadi is a mare waiting to happen at left back - Granty and Pavels have looked a good pairing this year and hopefully it was a bad day at the office. If anyone can rally and coach the back four it is Butcher. Personally I would go with Black and Kerr in central midfield and I would hook Imrie back to left midfield - pushing Foran up front with Rooney. Imrie and Eric may run all day and have pace but neither has the composure, the forward goalscoring instincts or positioning to be regular scorers - but Butcher is playing them becos they harry defenders and can give us time and space behind them - and they make the odd hoof look an effective ploy. Imrie and Eric may well cause the Huns a few problems with their movement and pace - if only they could score as well. Butcher is doing as good as he could do with what he has got - Remember this is all about survival this season - no more, no less. . As far as I am concerned we have now really hit the RED Crisis Button - I am going to get rite behind the club at as many games as possible - We have to shout and sing and encourage - Certain factions have put us in this position but we have to turn the tide. Come on - Serious comments please - or do you disagree ?
