  1. Fraid that injuries will delay our ability to gauge progress and only a favourable outcome and an improved performance will suffice. The question as to why we always seem to have a spare of early season injuries remains unanswered and worrying. Dunc has the same excuse as Dodds should he wish to use it ?
  2. I initially thought that it was Sheridan Smith as she would be a real distraction up front. But I suppose she wouldn't have gone for a short contract and the thought of showering with some of our present team would also have been a turn off.
  3. Oh what cherished memories - the Animals day trips to Morayshire
  4. Perhaps not in the right forum but Dunc will be devastated by this as most Evertonians will.
  5. in the late 70's and early 80's - probably.
  6. All I can say is - Thank feck we are not financially dependent on Donview and Naelifts.
  7. As Abraham Lincoln once said to me in a Manhattan diner - "Johndo, don't worry when you are not recognized, but strive to be worthy of recognition." And I would also suggest to any interested party to refer to the latest findings by the UK Groundwater Forum where the presence of Devonian Carboniferous-Older cover has been confirmed in the area containing the stadium and the Longman area.
  8. It probably simply confirms that we do not have the requisite squad replacements for injuries to an injury prone first team. Any news about Welsh ?
  9. Could be actually the start of our season - big Dunc would have learned a lot.
  10. Dodds is probably shocked at being dumped and may well have been double crossed !! What a feckin shame. Perhaps Robbo may receive a farewell e-mail on his jollies !!
  11. I have only one request to make to Dunc - "Can you job share with Sean Dyche ?"
  12. Of course he was fishing but he does have a degree of validity. I would say that the large majority of fans who followed Inverness clubs - in the 70's and 80's - also had affiliations to "bigger" clubs. I went on a road trip with four mates - all Caley fans - we travelled to Glasgow - I watched Celtic and the other three watched Rangers, Dundee and Aberdeen. When you consider the "Caley Animals" we all had affiliations - mainly to Rangers. Dougal was abnormal and was a Howden Ender alone. Now perhaps that should be applauded ?
  13. I basically have faith - only in Dunc - that he will take us to survival - and that there will be changes in the New year - but WHO is backing all of this ? That is the BIG question ??
  14. Everton forums are buzzing in support for Dunc and ICT. The Z cars welcome would be something special.
  15. Feck me - get the orange tops ironed and play God save the King before kick off. 3 year contract? Have we found an anonymous backer ?
  16. Oh no - one of my footballing heroes who I idolised from the Gladwys Street. There were a lots of side issues at Forest Green and he was lauded as a coach at Everton. But this is an expensive ploy by Gardener. "Ambitious Club". CEO has sprung a big surprise and some would say 'coup', putting him in a strong position for the now. Will also say that three years gives him the time to get us back into the Premiership.Good excuse to keep Robbo as he will say that he will advise about Scottish football. Dunc is a very approachable and open guy and I look forward to having a wee chat. Oh I want him to succeed but I am far from confident and we need to know where the spondoolicks came for this move. We may now have one of the most expensive hierarchies in Scotland and the least expensive player budget.
