  1. Never given the opportunity to show us what he can do and I wish him well. Fair play to the guy as well for being brave enough to move up here when other players have quaked at the prospect being so far north!! Will Hart and Caff be following him out the door next month?
  2. In paper today that he will be joining Kilmarnock in January
  3. I think Hart, Wilson, Markus P and maybe McCaffrey deals run out in the summer. Not sure about the younger lads who were promoted to the first team this season
  4. Brown made a really good save in the first half from Niculae but Fraser's was even better. Need to see it again 'cos I still don't know how he mamaged it well done that man :clapping03:
  5. McGeady kicked Black. It was blatant. Then he had the audacity to mouth off to the ref after squaring up to Black
  6. WOO HOO :021: My faces hurts from smiling so much :001: What a SUPERB result!! :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: We played some glorious football at times and thoroughly deserved the 3 points!! I though Rankin was immense today and was MoTM although Black ran him close. Can someone explain why wasn't Pressley sent off and Proctor was? Both last man. Did Pressley even get booked? It was great to walk past all those devastated Celtic fans after the game as well. They looked dazed and confused. Hilarious Got back to the car only to hear Strachan's whinging :020: Glad the rest of the pundits shot his comments down
  7. My first car was a wee crap peugeot - I called him Ken after the bass player in Bros (thanks Viz) - the rest is hostory :021:
  8. I think this sums up the Caley forum. Third win in a row, third clean sheet in a row (against a good Hibs side). And still posters find time to criticise. This was a good, well managed, team performance. Sorry if that's not what you're looking for. If you had bothered to read any of my previous posts you would have seen both praise for both the team and the manager. I was a posting a personel opinion of one player. Many of you might not agree with my view of said player and that's fine. Just get the facts right. iIm sure you were all for booing Fraser a few weeks ago WynessLegend
  9. Roy had a good first half but I though he faded in the second - the commentators seemed to think he'd picked up a knock, though he was fizzing at being hooked. Ah the enigma that is Roy McBain :024: Just can't see what, if anything, he offers the team. He was by far and away the least effective ICT player today quite ably combining new found chameleon skills with his usual invisibility powers :tic01: Some folk on here really seem to rate him - I just want to know why?
  10. We totally deserved to win today especially with such a strong first half performance :021: Some great individual displays from Niculae, Rankin, Black, McGuire & Fraser. We were very lucky not to lose McGuire and concede a penalty in the 2nd half but the officials were so incompetent they missed pretty much everything today. Well done to Brew and the team. :clapping03: Now I just have to decide who to give the PoY points - not an easy choice today :003:
  11. Rankin started against Rangers so last weekend wasn't his first start of the season. Anyway that's ancient history. Hopefully today will be all about Hibs missing Jones more than we miss Wyness. I think the giant juggernaut is an integral part of the Hibs defence so fingers crossed he won't play. I feel we can cope better without Wyness than Hibs can cope without him!!
  12. Why the feck should we be cheering the Celtic reserve keeper? He got his round of applause for past services on January 28 2007 on his previous 'last' visit. Another undeserved & VERY luck last minute victory against us :018:
  13. If you are going to go by that article Hart's position looks shaky as well. I'd like to see MacDonald at least be given a chance, if he's not up to it fair enough
  14. At least Parkie wasn't out of work very long New Assitant Manager at Raith Rovers :clapping03:
  15. I don't want to take anything away from what was a fantastic result for the team and manager but I can't help wondering if we would have played the same formation if Wyness had been fit? :024: Not that it matters now of course. 3 points = a good day at the office :021:
  16. GREAT result. :021: Didn't expect it but it's the 3 points that matter. Well done Brew & the lads :clapping03:
  17. According to the article in today's Courier...... LINK Park was all for leaving when CC resigned but Bennett persuaded him to say. It goes on to say Park is leaving the club at 'a good time' whatever that means. Apparently he hasn't seen his family for 2 years :024:
  18. I think any points we get from the next 4 games will have been well earned
  19. think that would be a bad decision too ..... these guys seem to have loads of potential ... way more than some other youngsters. Totally agree Scotty but can you honestly see Brewster playing Zander? Woods might be safe as he's younger
  20. It doesn't make much sense to move on 2 of our best, young players especially when you consider that 2 of our starting midfielders on Saturday were 33 & 35!! :rolleyes02:
  21. Good shout Alex :022: If only!!! The last thing we need is for Brewster to get appointed a "yes" man like Thomson. That's part of the reason I liked Parkie being assistant as he wouldn't just do what Brewster said. I wonder if Barry Wilson might be given the job :024:
  22. I agree it was a great result Johnboy but holding on by the skin of our teeth against 10 men at home is far from a superb victory Nevertheless 3 points :022:
  23. We have played much better than that and lost so maybe today's result should be taken in context :024: We definitely rode our luck and if the shoe were on the other foot we would have been gutted to lose The ways things have been going of late 3 points is a nice early Xmas pressie :clapping03:
  24. Winning the 3 points is the main thing :021: Not quite sure how we managed to hold on to the lead to be honest and we certainly rode our luck in the second half but there you go. Job done and some much needed breathing space between us and Gretna Was this the commentators? What were they saying? I thought he played pretty well today.
  25. Is there not a clause that County will get a percentage of any transfer fee?
