Stevie Naismith Saga
I see they are forking out a fair bit of cash for Lee McCulloch and yet they aren't prepared to offer a reasonable fee for Naismith who is already a better player :017:

[merged] Squad/Tactics for Rangers Game
Hart didn't play in the 3-1 home defeat so I'm guessing tin Can Fan means the game we won 2-1. Anyway I'm a bit surprised everyone has picked Wilson in there team I have a sneaking suspicion he will be replaced by Cowie this season and be more of a super sub.

Hastings wants to take free-kicks
From stv.sport...... Inverness left-back Richard Hastings expects his return to favour with Canada to have a positive impact on his club form. The 30-year-old Caley Thistle defender played five internationals for Canada over the summer and had only two weeks off due to his involvement in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He said: "It's a great lift to get my place back in the Canadian team and play in every game, so it gives me confidence for the new SPL season." Hastings, who joined Inverness in 1995 and has spent all bar three seasons since then at the Highlands club, is now back with his Caley team-mates. Their first match in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League is at home against title hopefuls Rangers on August 4. Let's hope the fact he's only had 2 weeks off doesn't catch up with him

'Inverness hold Niculae talks'
Let's face it it's HIGHLY unlikely we'll get this guy but the club should be applauded for at least trying. It's brought a great deal of positive publicity the clubs way and shows we are at least heading in the right direction :clapping03: Now let's try and find a quality defender :022:

MERGED: McDonald signs for ICT
From Sky Sports Today.... Inverness Caledonian Thistle are closing on a deal for Gillingham striker Dean McDonald. The SPL club are hoping to sign McDonald on a two-year contract, just 12 months after the player joined Gillingham from Ipswich Town. He weighed in with six goals in 30 appearances for the Gills, but Inverness boss Charlie Christie feels the 21-year-old is capable of having a better impact in Scotland. "We met Dean for talks and were greatly impressed by how he spoke," Christie told the Daily Record. "We asked him if he regarded this as a step up and he said he viewed it as two steps up from Gillingham. "I've had very good reports from people who know him, but he felt he didn't figure in Gillingham's system and style. "Director of football Graeme Bennett is working to finalise an agreement with Dean's club and I'm just waiting for the call now to say it's done." Inverness are also due to hand pre-season trials to Dominique Taboga, of Austrian club SV Kaptenberg, and Admira Wacker's Benedict Bauer. Christie added: "We'll take one or both with us to Italy depending on how they show up next season. "They are keen to play in Scotland and know the size and structure of our club. Their CVs are impressive, but I need to see them play."

Hibs star signs for English championship club
On his day he can be a match winner but that doesn't happen very often. Bit of a one trick pony relying on his pace. They can expect a few red cards as well - bit of a temper :004:
