  1. The more cynical amongst us might think it was a very convenient injury :024: Brew picked the wrong team today. Hopefully he will learn from his mistake
  2. At least the 1000th will be at home against the mighty gers - I hope :022:
  3. D'oh :009:
  4. I think it's fair to say we normally get whoever's left to commentate on our game's :rolleyes02: Unlikely we'll get him now :029: Brew will have to look elsewhere for Rankin's replacement i highly doubt he would of came to us anyway There was a chance as he was well out of the picture at Hibs and hadn't played much at all this season. Of course with a new manager at Easter Road everyone has a clean slate and judging by today's performance Mixu will be impressed
  5. Unlikely we'll get him now :029: Brew will have to look elsewhere for Rankin's replacement
  6. Surely the few extra ?k we might get for selling a non cup tied player would be far less than the money gained from being in the next round of the cup :023: Still plenty of time to turn things around (fingers crossed)
  7. Not sure about this team selection today :024: Fingers crossed it doesn't back fire. Surprised to see Deano on the subs bench as well - Brew seems to be picking the subs at random these days!

    Dean Shiels

No idea what his best position is. Collins said he was an important member of his squad and hardly played him :023: He seems to have been around for years but he must still be quite young. Probably a player who would blossom with regular first team football
  9. Heard this from a friend and I'm not sure if it's 100% gospel :024: Apparently County signed Danny Griffin, the former Northern Ireland international yesterday after his release from Dundee. This poor guy has been blighted by injury his whole career and on the very day he seeks pastures new across the bridge he does his achilles tendon in and is likely to be out for the rest of the season. :029:

    Dean Shiels

Apparently Shiels is the man Brew wants as/when/if Rankin goes
  11. Seems like only yesterday Brewster was saying there would be no new transfer dealings this month! :tic01:
  12. Marvellous news :021: Congratulations to both :clapping03:
  13. The Highland News Online seems to have a different version of the tale... McGuire, who joined ICT in August on a short-term deal is due back at the Pars this Saturday, but ICT are hopeful he'll agree a pre-contract which would keep him in Inverness till at least May. Bennett said: "Contrary to media reports, we have agreed a nominal fee with Dunfermline to take Phil here on a pre-contract. There are still several permutations and the exact nature of the move is yet to be decided, but he could come in until the end of the season on a pre-contract." All very confusing :023:
  14. Apparently they reported on Radio Scotland earlier today that Brew is retiring from playing at the end of the season. probably no real surprise but he was a great player in his day :clapping03:
  15. Bolland moved from Chester to Wrexham today on a free
  16. I heard he may get a 'dream' move to........Oldham :023:
  17. I think you are probably right Caley D it's probably a bit of both Dods, Dargo & Morgan managed to play for us and live in the central belt :024:
  18. Unfortunately I doubt we shall get anywhere like 100k for Rankin. Still I think we already have someone on our books who can take his place and is potentially a better player....Iain Vigurs
  19. I was under the impression he sold his house AFTER being told by Brewster he could leave in January :024: Of course there are 2 sides to every story but I can't help feel that Brew must take some of the blame for the current situation.
  20. P&J today says that talks with Duncan, Wyness & Tokely over new contracts will begin next week! :017:
  21. The original story posted was that McGuire had turned down a pre-contract agreement with us in which case we wouldn't have needed to speak to Dunfermline. If he had agreed or does agree then we would speak to them about buying out the rest of his contract so he could join us now
  22. I heard they turned down 100k for Clark :010: That really puts St Mirren derisory offer of 40K Rankin into perspective
  23. Hutton may not even be at Rangers by then! Apparently Spurs have come back in with another wheelbarrow of cash for him :010:
  24. BBC saying a fee has been agreed for transfer of Hart between Aberdeen & Plymouth and player is discussing personal terms. Offer for Clark turned down though. Surely though Hart is the better player :017:
  25. From Inverness Courier Online... "As well as targeting new faces, Caley Thistle will begin talks this week with out of contract players such as forward Dennis Wyness and midfielder Russell Duncan in a bid to extend their contracts beyond the conclusion of the current SPL campaign. "Our plan is to speak to the players who are out of contract this week to see where we are going," added Bennett. "Fortunately, the large majority of the squad is already signed up, so we only have a few players to talk too." I wonder why they have left it so late in the day to start talks?? espeically now with the transfer window open!! Same article also says a second bid for Rankin has been turned down this week LINK
