New Players
Says he's a midfielder on Soccerbase but a striker on Gillingham website :024:

Unfortunate Surname
The latest Celtic transfer target had an unfortunate surname possibly even funnier than that Brazilian Scheidt Ladies & Gentlemen I give you..... FANNI

Dargo is a Saint?
Perhaps not. I'm sure the distance factor played a factor in the decision especially as his partner didn't want to live up here :rolleyes02:

Dargo is a Saint?
Papers today saying he is likely to sign for St Mirren as interest from down south failed to materialise
-
wat a croc!!
Footballers continually moan that it's a "short career" so why feking complain spending a small part of that in a "backwater" like Inverness. I'm sure some of the folk working offshore or deployed in Iraq/Afghanistan might prefer it despite our lack of casino :008:

Rangers Game
Story on BBC saying it's definitely going to be Saturday
-
Dargo is a Saint?
I've always wondered what exactly Inverness lacks that makes it so uninhabitable for many footballers and especially there other halves???
-
Dargo is a Saint?
Yeah that's true. I'll feel a whole lot happier when we do get a few more players in though but we have to face facts that most teams are looking for the same sort of players we are

Dargo is a Saint?
Bennet saying on Teletext that it's unlikely we'll be signing anybody in the next couple of weeks and that the club are 'not panicking' over getting replacements for Dargo & Dods.... "we have a strong, experienced squad but we'll do our business quietly and there are unlikely to be any signings before training starts in 2 weeks time. But we're actively following leads" Anyone feel reassured by that? :rolleyes02:

Dargo is a Saint?
Dargo in press today saying that our offer wasn't all that great and he knows of a club in the 1st division who pay more
-
Inept, Inexperience, or What?
You need to get your facts right. We had him for a 2 week trial in January by which all accounts he impressed but as we had 5 strikers (including) Dargo & McSwegan his signing wasn't prioritised. We expected him to come on our pre season training camp without talking to any other clubs despite the fact he was out of contract. We got exactly what we deserved. :023:

Caley player in drugs probe
I guess this is what the closed thread about <removed> was about! IF the allegations turn out to be true he'll be kicked out of the club
-
Not a-fecki-gain
Assuming this story is true wouldn't it have made more financial sense to offer Golabeck + cash and saved ourselves a few £££'s

Our Worst Ever Player
There can only be one - Darran Thomson :029:

2007-08: Final SPL Table
1. Celtic 2. Rangers 3. Aberdeen 4. Hearts 5. Hibs 6. Dundee United 7. Kilmarnock 8. Falkirk 9. ICT 10. Gretna 11. Motherwell 12. St Mirren
-
Who do we go for then?
From what I heard on the radio this morning it isn't going to be John Sutton - obviously out of our price range Hopefully we won't try and sign John Stewart at Falkirk again!!

Dargo is a Saint?
Wyness is still the most likely player in the current squad to get 10+ goals next term. I think we may have to rely on more goals from midfield next season - Rankin, Paatelainen and Cowie have the potential to get a fair few for us - fingers crossed anyway :021:
-
Who do we go for then?
I can see us missing out on Buchanan with all the indecision as to whether he's up to it or not. John Sutton would seem to be a good call but I'm not sure we could tempt him north :007:
-
Dargo is a Saint?
At least we can FINALLY draw a line under the whole 'will he' - 'won't he' signing saga. Only time will tell whether he has made the right decision to leave. I think it's fair to say that both parties benefited from his time at ICT so I for one wish him well - that is up until he lines up against us of course :016:

PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
Potentially a game against the Qatar national team during the Italian training camp
-
Golly To Gypo Land
Good Luck Golly :clapping03: Bound to be County's biggest signing this close season :023:

What's your diddy team?
Manchester United are my 'wee' team :016:
-
Gretna Brain wave
Just like we 'enticed' many a Dons fan to our 'home' games. SPL football costs too much as it is - not many will fork out to see another team

Highland Football Academy - New Approach
I'm sure those in charge know what they are doing and here's hoping they can unearth a few gems for us in the near future :022:

Jason Scotland signs for....
I think the reported 2 grand a week might have had some influence on his decision to be fair :023:
