  1. I'm not sure there will be any changes for the Celtic game - could be a case of CC giving everyone 'one more chance' At least we know there will be for the Dundee United with Roy finally being taken out of the team because of suspension. I'd like to see Black & Rankin in central midfield with Markus out wide left and Rory being dropped for McSwegan
  2. Is it time to be looking at the bigger picture? If Dargo leaves at the end of the season as many suspect he will we could be in real trouble. Denzil would be our No 1 striker and unfortunately his shoulder problem could well curtail his career (fingers crossed not) leaving us with Bayne & McAlismisstasitter who have to date been impotent up front. McSwegan lasted 90 minutes in the last reserve game so how casn't he be fit? What do the players do in training? Kintting?? Even if he isn't up to 90 minutes surely he could last an hour. Can't be any worse than what's up front just now :006:
  3. I think you will be in a minority of 1 with a statement like that. How can anyone like long ball football? Its boring, reflects a lack of skill or vision which has no place in the modern game I'd rather we lost every week playing a passing movement game rather than be subjected to such p**s :008:
  4. Don't see anyone asking for CC's head on this post or indeed any other (in the last few months anyway) I would imagine most people are just disappointed with todays result - I know I am :009:
  5. Suggested a change last week and we had the same line up again today. Chances are it will be the same 11 next week :006:
  6. Oh dear :007: Just read the match report on the BBC website, sounds like we deserved what we got. Danny Murphy's flighted free-kick found MacDonald unmarked in the box and he headed the ball past Fraser from six yards to give Motherwell a deserved lead. That just about sums it up really :007: Bottom 6 for us it would seem

Apparently we have won our last 6 away games at Motherwell - here's hoping for number 7 :023:
  8. Why hasn't Vigurs even been on the bench for us yet??
  9. I don't think many will be worried about McBain's suspension. Out of all the possible central midfield combinations we could have at the club him and Duncan together is the most negative and uncreative pairing. I hope whoever comes into the side plays a blinder and keeps the position but I suspect Roy will just come straight back into the side no matter what :007:

He's been fit last few weeks and played in reserves on Tuesday but didn't play very well from what I hear. The big Finn played up front in that game and McSwegan lasted 90 minutes - would think either of them would be a better option than Rory
  11. Handy skill actually. There are many, many women out there who don't possess it :023: :004:

Interestingly Robson is statistically the dirtiest player in the league (according to the SPL website) conceding the most free kicks and for yellow/red cards - just ahead I might add of Graham Bayne :010:
  13. That's part of the beauty of being of being a supporter RednBlackComeback its all about opinions - ultimately no one is 100% right Saying that when your most potent goal scoring threats are unavailable you need a bit of creativity/class from midfiled
  14. I didn't hear or see any of the action of today's game but I'm wondering if its time we time brought Black back into the side. He seemed to be slated and condemned by many on here (somewhat unfairly in my opinion) for his red card against Falkirk and from what I'd seen of his performances he was way off the form he'd shown last season. Saying that with the loss of Wyness & Dargo our limitations up front are obvious all too see so surely the onus is on the midfield to contribute more. Surely its obvious to see that Black has more to offer than certain players that our manager continues to play week in week out. Still maybe suspension will rectify that :006:

Could be a good day to be playing the jambos they have quite a few folk rated doubtful and several more unavailable. Saying that I don't even know who 1/2 the players mentioned are :017:

    Oddly I get 276 + 25 which makes 301 :017:
  17. LINK His dad's a local - maybe we could get him on loan? :016:
  18. Does this apply for the following games: CIS Cup v Dumbarton CIS Cup v Falkirk TSC Cup v Dundee United Your point caller? :016: The Dumbarton game was certainly lower prices, Falkirk can't remember and the DU pricing turned out to be a mistake. However, it's Celtic coming to play us in the 1/4 finals and demand will simply outway supply. I may not even get a ticket myself but that doesn't stop me wanting to go to what could turn out to be a historic day. Would there be complaints about the ticket prices IF we made it to the final?
  19. It's the Quarter final of the Scottish Cup and a one off game If you don't want to pay the price stop complaining and don't go!! Someone else will take your place :006:
  20. kencar replied to davieB's topic in Caley Thistle
I spend more paying per game in the north stand than a season ticket in the main stand costs but thats my own stupidity really :014: Season ticket holders should realise the money they save probably more than covers them for the cup games anyway Season ticket for me next year :016:

Why all the fuss? Are those not just the usual charges when the OF come to play?
  22. Good draw for the bank balance but I'd have preferred an easier draw :006:

After a good display against Celtic I was hoping for more of the same yesterday but we didn't get it. Looked disinterested and he contributed very little. Maybe McSwegan should get a start - can't believe I said that :023:
  24. I'm afraid you can only get a Chick Young award for talking gash after at least 15 years of service. In your defence it seemed like it was the refs first game in charge of any game of football :006:
  25. kencar replied to RiG's topic in Caley Thistle
The problem with Robson is that unless he's in your team he is an erse. He's come on leaps and bounds since he left us and we'd be delighted if he was in our team now. Still an erse though :016:
