I agree. Hastings has been our most consistent player this year :025:

Schmeichel was abused for being Danish which was taken in a light hearted manner. Latapy was abused for being black which quite rightly has caused some offence. :024:

A 16 team league won't happen just because Rangers & Celtic would only play each other once home and away

Apparently if the SPL 2 comes about the favoured structure will see the SPL becoming a 10 team league. It could be that the season after next 3 teams will be relegated with 1 coming up
  5. Very true but County have played him wide right all season and I suspect we might do the same
  6. With respect it's perhaps the chance for others eg Hart, Paatelainen to stake a claim for a regular starting place. Assuming Cowie has been signed as the replacement for Wilson his appearances next year may be limited to a super sub anyway??

I'm guessing that was about his dancing ability as he was an ok keeper :016:

With the benefit of hindsight and not seeing or hearing any of the Rangers game commentary before the hi-lights I did take Harts apparent good performance against Rangers with a pinch of salt. Today I did see a very good display from him which I may have been over critical of but as a player he just frustrates me. He has all the attributes to be a great player and on his game he should be a first team regular but he just seems to be too erratic. He is very popular amongst the supporters but I often feel that's just because he is a local boy. He's entering his final year of his contract so I guess it's up to him to prove his worth to the team. To quote a cliche at the end of the day if he proves to be our star player from here on in I will be the first to stand up and applaud him :021:

Not sure what you are on about? I thought we could have and should have won today as well. I just thought after we went behind we were lucky to get the draw. I also said I though Hart had a good game I just didn't think he was the MoTM -I thought Mcaffrey was!! That's my opinion. If it doesn't agree with yours tough :016:

Obviously they would have been but 100 shots off target still doesn't equate to 1 goal. We could have easily been 2 or 3 nil up by the end of the first half but none of our chances went in!! When we play well I think we could and should beat the likes of Falkirk. It's all well and good raising our game for the likes of Rangers and Celtic but the games against the likes of Falkirk, Motherwell and Dundee United are where we should be looking to pick up 3 points at home!!

and yet we didn't and were incredibly lucky to get a draw :006: Latapy was the best player on the pitch

Were you at the game Alex? Not having a go just asking? We weren't robbed we were bloody jammy to get the draw in the game we could have easily won!! The Ref was pretty poor but the linesman who gave the goal kick when the Falkirk player kicked the ball out stole the show!! Hart played pretty well but he wasn't MOtM he made some truly shocking passes out of the field of play but for him it was a decent performance. Of course that's a personal opinion and for what it;'s worth I thought Stuart McAffrey had a pretty decent game today and he was my MoTM match. I'm still amazed why Markus didn't start the game and then when the hapless Rory was brought on instead of him I had to admit I feared the worst. Still we scrapped a draw at home which we made every attempt to lose :006:

I'm not sure about negative tactics more so lack of tactics. Falkirk had 2 big centre half's one of which (Milne?) is basically a giant. Our plan? Punt the ball up in the hopes that Bayne and Dargo!!! may win something in the air! What was the point in that? Going to the match I was expecting to see the same team that lined up against Rangers starting albeit with Mcaffrey replacing Dods. Really not sure why Wilson was brought back into the starting line up at the expense of Markus. Then Wilson gets injured - looked like cracked ribs and Mcbain is brought on? Why?? Mcbain was not brilliant. He came on and did OK at best but Hart was playing relatively well in the middle (no way was he MoTM by the way - I had a laugh as that was announced and he duly passed the ball straight out of the park!!) then he was moved wide right and it could be argued that his powder puff tackle at the half way line lead to the Falkirk goal!! So Falkirk score and I fear the worst. The bugle sounds and Charlie brings on.....Rory McAllister!! The fans heart sink. I'm sorry I've run out of patience with him. He isn't going to make it. His contribution today was a truly dire pass whilst in a promising attacking position and nearly nicely settin up a second goal for Falkirk. I feared the worst we got an equaliser. We should have won this game but didn't. I'll take the draw simply because we probably didn't deserve it :008:
  14. He certainly seems to play a lot better in the away fixtures. Could that be down to the 'support' he gets from some of the home fans? :006:
  15. Club hopeful that he will sign a 2 year contract on Friday which is VERY good news. Fingers crossed!!

The article said it was Cletic's idea to farm him out for a season so I'm pretty sure it's OK with Strachan :015:
  18. Levein was saying yesterday that the way it stands Robson will only miss 1 game but if he were to be booked again he's be suspended for 4 matches - not quite sure how that works though :017:

Radio Scotland had Russell Duncan as MOTM so it sounds like quite a few of players had very good games :025: Let's hope they can keep the momentum going for Saturday

For red cards you automatically miss the next game
  21. Well that must be a first!! How did the midfield line up today? Was Hart in the middle or wide right?
  22. Where are the boo boys tonight? Clacher, Bonzo, Midge and IHE?? :015:

Your mission Agent Morgan is to ensure second division football for our backward neighbours This message will self-destruct in 5 seconds........ :016:

He'll be suspended for 2-3 games at least as its his 2nd red card this season and with only 6 games to go that might have been his last appearance for ICT??
  25. Well said that man :025: This result is all Charlie's fault as well :016:
