  1. Dont forget his comment about "we have had a good season"...priceless
  2. Like me Rossco is Born Caley...It'll never happen
  3. Now im not a big Brewster fan either, but i dont think we should be changing managers that quickly either. Yes his loyalty was in question during the Dundire Utd situation, but i am willing to put up with another Brew season
  4. Appears Gus Mcpherson has made talks with Wyness official http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ren/7382023.stm
  5. I cant remember his name but i met him in a pub in Edinburgh a couple of months ago....and for the record he's a Jambo.. My jaw dropped when he told me that discgraceful!!!
  6. Thanks guys for all your positive replies. I didnt realise there was so much of us who thought the same I agree with all the posts, especially regarding Niculau..we definately missed an opportunity to exploit a market in Romania. Marius is still a big deal over their. Keep them coming...Hopefully someone at the club reads these posts. PS good to see Rory & Vigurs get on the scoresheet today. peace Chris
  7. Ok. First off i dont want this post to come accross as negative, but i wanted to see what other ICT fans thought the club's vision was. Can we as an SPL team see further south than Aviemore or North of Dingwall. Listen we spent many years in the 3rd,2nd & 1st Divisions, biding our time until the day we got into the SPL...but i have still to see ICT have the vision i think an SPL club should be. If you look at the bigger SPL clubs, they have a vision, they can exploit markets across world...Celtic didnt just buy Nakamura because he was a talented player. It also offered a lucrative Japanese market in terms of TV rights & Merchandising. What is raiding R*ss C**nty again going to do for us. Yes Barrowman has banged in 29 goals....but the 1st div is a different ball game...well its not but you know what i mean, lol. I appreciate ICT are a young club and it takes time, but i just want Caley to talk about this and ease the minds of their supporters. We dont just care about the results on the park. Ive followed Caledonian/ICT for 30 + years and my dream was to follow them into the SPL & Europe, but i dont see Europe happening without financial investment from somewhere and the vision required to take the club further up the league and stop Inverness kids supporting the Old Firm. We have out own SPL team now and they can see Old Firm players at the Tulloch Stadium 4 or more times each season I lived in Edinburgh for over 10 years now so i dont hear whats going on with the supporters in Inverness. But im passionate about the club i first saw when i was 9 and i still get to as many games as i can. So i hope this post makes sense and hope my brothers & sisters can help me get my head around the mentality of ICT So to finish : You can take the team out of the Highland League but can you take the Highland League out of the team Peace and see you tomorrow for Gretna Chris
  8. Thanks for that Gordon...i also heard about the Gillingham & Yeovil trials, but not the Toronto one....interesting Ive been dissapointed with ICT making a fuss with Dean when he signed and then nothing. And as for his size, i dont think that means anything...Archie Gemmel or Nacho Novo anyone. I think Dean is suited to a attacking role from the midfield/wing, so his stature is suited to that type of role. Anyway...i think we have talked about this to its end. There is obviously those who feel he should go and some who want ICT to give him the chance. Peace out
  9. Gringo Jr...i m glad someone else agrees that Dean has the potential, so should get the chance in a 2nd season. I get the impression that CB isnt interested because Dean was a Charlie Christie signing
  10. For me it has to be the Gascoigne & Laudrup partnership at Tannadice..jaw dropping
  11. Ive been noticing a few negative words being mentioned about Dean....has he really been given the chance to prove himself apart from the odd sub appearance and a pre season tour.. what do you say brothers & sisters...is he worth a chance?
  12. to be fair a season is not long enough for a foreign player to adapt to a different game...Granted he has not lit up the SPL but we cant deny he has talent and he has shown us that in bits Hope he is with us next season to show us what he has... btw his goal against Killie on Saturday was a peach Chris
  13. Well thanks to The Rev for introducing himself....sorry i got the Rev Watson from this site, so i guess it needs updating... Maybe you can have a word with Marius and keep him here next season, because once he lights up Euro2008 the 1.8m price tag banded about here maybe become a reality Chris ( ex Howdenender)
  14. If brew does play the last game of the season, i will certainly be making the journey from Edinburgh to see that... my Jury is still out on him as our manager, but he may have something to prove in his last game Chris
  15. I totally agree with Tug's comments, but dont forget people that we have gone through this all before...Remember 1993/4 and the merger. I am a proud ICT fan who stood in the Howden End since the late 70's at Telford street...for weeks I didnt know if i had a team to support...I watched friends fall out with each other because they hated the idea of the merger with Thistle and im sure our Thistle brothers went through the same crap.... Jesus i used to get threats for wearing my Caley scarf So to add to Tugs plea to the board. We were there in 1994 and we stood by you through all that....and here we are again and we will still stand by the club we love, but for gods sake sort it out and stop testing our patience Oh and PS stop using County as a feeder club....remember what division your in...the SPL Chris
  16. Ok someone explain why we have a club chaplain and what is his purpose at a football club....His name is Rev Arthur Fraser Strange comments anyone?
  17. Hi just wondered if anyone knows what ICT's plans are for the close season i.e Summer camp/ friendlies /trips overseas etc etc Surely this must be in the planning stage by now? Chris
  18. Hmm, something is not right, as people have rightly said Alan Savage has been noted in the press as paying Marius's wages. On the point of Charlie Christie...I have been led to believe that he left the manager post because he was kept out of the loop with the signing of Marius Niculae...which was all Savage and his business contacts in Romania
