  1. I did think about it after i posted...thanks
  2. Hey just wanted to gauge some opinions on who is the better site. I rarely use the official website anymore, due to their iceberg pace in announcing ICT news Does anyone know who runs the the official site anway, they need a kick up their a*se if you ask me. I think CT online is a far better source of news, and even the rumour threads give me the odd gem as well any comments BC
  3. Signed it...I feel its time for ICT supporters to stand united behind this and boycott all OF away games this season. Both OF teams only talk in 1 language and that is money...so lets hit them where it hurts
  4. ICT are running the risk of other players refusing to sign for us if the board cant organise said p**s up in said brewery This is the second player who has been somewhat messed about in our eyes in recent months, Mr Wyness t'other. And lastly ours & the clubs eyes should be on the future season coming up not on this shambles... I would be interested to hear what CB thinks of this while he has been in Denmark
  5. come on ICT and/or Dynamo...stop the "its their fault" tactics and get this sorted. Fee or no Fee its embarassing for both clubs
  6. much as i will miss Marius, im getting a bit sick of this now.....2 points though If he signed a contract with Dynamo B ( which the pics on their website show), surely ICT's request that he waive his % fee would have included in their contract between ICT & Dynamo, besides isnt a % fee normally between the player and the club he signs FOR and not the club he has left, i.e his personal terms with Dynamo 2nd point : its a tad cheeky for Dynamo to be displaying their player if there has been unfinished business between the clubs. I do hope this deal goes through and there is no bad blood
  7. "GUTTED" is the word Im glad i was there for his last game. He wore the shirt well and showed that he has some class. Hope CB will get some of the cash to build the team...yes we have Barrowman, Zadi, Easson and possibly Rooney..but even a 100k would get us a higher quality player... good luck Marius
  8. really wish these bloody newspapers would get it right...Klauserslauten for 500k i read today...Where ever he goes i will be sad to see him go...and i just hope that CB gets the majority of the cash to buy a replacement What will Tom CJ do with his Romanian flag huh!
  9. I know there is a George Fraser topic on here, but i wanted to ask about the ROK group. Do they have an invested interest in ICT and if so what kind of interests do they have. I see from the link below that CB has been involved in ROK PR, and someone called Kenny Cameron who apparently is ICT's communities trust chairman is also a ROK employee and a former director of ICT So my point is if ROK have an vested interest in the club, then there shouldnt really be the current "wages" stumbling block that is preventing us from making quality signings, and they have been very quiet since George Fraser took over almost 3 months to the day http://www.rokgroup.com/myarea/news.jsp?ne...onian%20Thistle any comments?
  10. Well the goss here in Edinburgh is that Elliot has agreed terms with MK Dons today....Source - from Elliots family via a workmate. Also I believe from a Hearts shareholder that they wanted to use Elliot as a bargaining chip to lure Marius to Tynecastle, so they are a bit peeved with his agent that he even speaking to MK Dons let alone agreed terms
  11. Im confused.... We have many of our ICT online friends saying the boy showed passion & talent.... We had Sir Alex Ferguson saying the boy had talent but Craig Brewster disagreeing and letting him go who do i believe?
  12. If you have FIFA 08 on the PS3, then check out where iCT play there home games....looks like the old Telford Street to me wierd
  13. some interesting points raised by TCF...I agree with most of what has been raised, but as the Mod has indicated on a few points, we are at the beckoning of the SPL and to the SFA on a number of these points. I totally agree with an affiliation with a foreign team. Normally this means ICT would get first dibs on a player, loan exhanges which benefit not only the other teams players but ICT players as well, especially our Youth team. I would add maybe 1 point myself : Our board would be made up of more people with a Football backround. Im sure if we looked at the board they are all builders & business execs.. Yes i know someone is going to point out that they have the money which finances the club and have the experiance of running a business ...but please we must all agree that money is what is ruining football clubs, unless your at the top of the football foodchain
  14. shouldnt this thread be merged with the other one from Yesterday
  15. quote taken from todays Zadi announcement on the BBC "Inverness have also announced that they will play former St Johnstone manager Owen Coyle's Burnley in a pre-season friendly at Turf Moor on 2 August. "
  16. dont think Marioosh would see that as a step up...it'll never happen
  17. the guy has an Italian passport so no WP issues http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergio_Torres
  18. I was thinking about Rodgers in Grant Street...im sure PC had some connection with it as i always remember him being in there when i picked up my folks papers there. Oh i remember Eddie Davidson had a newsagent/grocer not far from Merkinch Primary school aptly called Davidsons i believe. Im not sure if he was officially linked with Caledonian FC, but i remember him being in the main stand at Telford Street with his club blazer on. What ever happened to him, is he still around?
  19. Someone told me a fascinating story once; (unconfirmed), that Crowley after a dinner party at Boleskine House for his society friends up from from London, brought a small mahogany box into the room and opened it. He removed a pair of white stained gloves from the box and laid them out on a piece of red velvet. His guests were puzzled and asked what they were. Crowley is reputed to have said that the gloves belonged to Jack the Ripper! I have tried to find this story written anywhere but alas no!...only wish it were true. Im not a huge fan oh MH, but Boleskine house is something of interest to me, so looking fwd to the show.
  20. Well the C**nty forums only gave 2 pages to Barrowman and we gave him 9 pages of comments....makes interesting reading. There is some interesting debate on whether compensation is due to C**nty http://www.thejailender.com/index.php?opti...&Itemid=142
  21. found this post on the C**nty forums regarding Bayne http://www.thejailender.com/index.php?opti...&Itemid=142
  22. "i can hardly contain my joy"....i have a feeling of dread in me... A lot of expectation will be in his shouders...the opposite kind that was on Marius's..he has to supply the good to win the fans over quickly i wish him all the best
  23. if its true that he has rejected ICT then good riddance...lets see him get a better chance of top flight football elsewhere...jumped up little pr**k thinking he's bigger than a club what ever happened to a player playing for the jersey. He should seriously take a look at others in his age group. Mr Tokely is a good example in my opinion
  24. good point. I'd forgotten about the Warnock link
