  1. hmm not sure if Barnes & Dalglish would attend...We did cost them thei job. although i do like the idea of some Ex Liverpool players attending....What about Kev Macdonald...old Inverness boy & Liverpool player
  2. sounds like a positive response...i will have a rake of my musical brain ans see what i can come up with
  3. Hey someone in a previous thread mentioned that the song "Bring it on home" is not being played anymore due to copyright issues...which is fair enough if the songwrighter (who i know) wants the money. But i wanted something put forward via the Supporters Trust and dont know how to submit an idea..perhaps someone from the trust can reply. Apart from supporting ICT and working like everyone else, i am also a musician/songwriter with my own studio in Edinburgh...so basically i would like to help solve the copyright issue by writing & recording a new song for ICT to play "copyright free" at home games. Do we need a song ? To be honest i always thought "Bring it on home" was a bit cringeworthy and was written after the merger issue... So what do our brothers & sister think? peace
  4. Alex...no mate; i totally agree with what you said and i didnt Interprate your words wrong.. I suppose what i was getting at was that aside from ICT having interests locally "and we toally should" that we should also be trying to make the league a better one and try to break the current "Old firm obsession"...I hope ive clarifed that
  5. ive just looked at the Spain squad and he's not there...strange oh well i guess its just Boruc, Eff- off efflehump & our Marius
  6. Surely Spain have inluded Cuellar....he's been phenomenal for Rangers defence this season
  7. Good post Caley D... I dont think getting rid of CB is the answer right now. A Manager need more than one season to get things flowing in the right direction, so as much as i think CB is not the one for us...we dont want to take 2 steps back by sacking him. Priorities - SPL survival/Attracting supporters Target- Top 6 & or cup final win Hopes - Keeping Niculae and signing a strike partner Expectations - at least 1 of the above I think 2012 is a good target year for gaining a Euro place through either a 3rd place or SC final win And its not the case that the "highlands Deserve it"...the Scottish game deserves it. Im sick of hearing about the top 4 or the Old firm domination through the biased media. The SPL needs us and with the right mentality from CB, the players, the fans & the board we can stay a permanent fixture in the league
  8. really...fortunately we dont get the P&J in Edinburgh thought for a minute that CB was becoming another media w*hore like a certain J Calderwood
  9. get rid of that Ne**ie dude for a start...its embarrasing Ive never believed that a mascot adds anything to a match day
  10. yet another story about CB chasing AB...tell us something we dont know http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t..._ct/7419208.stm
  11. Didnt Peter Corbett have a newsagent in Grant Street
  12. I attended the BB's behind the Methodist Church on the river for a few weeks.....got bored and joing the 6th Ness cubs in Dalneigh cubs were a lot less regimented for me
  13. Does anyone know if ICT publish their end of year Accounts; if so can they be viewed. Most buisiness do publish their accounts, and while Football clubs do indicate profits/losses...there does seem to be a certain secrecy with the accounts thanks
  14. losing Rankin 3-4 defeat to the dandy dons the Ian Black situation CB's tactics
  15. I was in the club shop..sorry i meant Portacabin after the game on Sat and there were loads of folks asking about the tix for the Liverpool game...i for one cant see a reason not to sell tix after a game. spare a though for those of us who live in Edinburgh...i do hope to have a friend pick mine up next week and Gordyfromshneck...."you can take the club out the highland league but you cant take the highland league out of the club" peace
  16. you know what...I really should read these things before opening my mouth. I didnt realise that the under 8 deal was for the kids of Adult ST holders... So im gonna change my mind slightly on this matter. I agree that it looks a tad unfair, but its on the right path....the club need to attract kids to these games and there was a lot of young kids at the St Mirren game which was great to see... My nephew wasnt bored and sang along with some of the singing and asked questions about players...he even spotted the photographer getting his laptop smacked by the ball...v funny but my point of the thread is how do we attract more fans...i thought being the last game of the seaon that the crowd would be more than 3,500 people..ok the FA cup was on. But i thought at least there would be free entry deal for kids at the last game..but no shame really
  17. Hey I took my nephew to his first ICT game on Saturday...by doing that i believe he will go back and not fall into the " i support Celtic or Rangers" trap...so we need a couple of thousand others like me to take their kids/nephews/neices to ICT games and get them hooked I think the recent free season tix for under 8's. And i hope they have more incentives to generate the next generation of ICt fans...
  18. the season has been dissapointing but not a disaster. Next year is judgement year for us & CB.... Also its a double edge sword...ICT cant buy the players we need if we dont increase our home crowd....and it seems people stay away because there are no big players at the club ( not my words!!) CB has another 12 months to improve our record
  19. the last 15 minutes against Hearts at Tynecastle in our 3-2 win... a penalty/a sending off/ an equalizing goal then our winner...pure edge of the seat entertainment...althought the win againt Celtic wont be forgotten either
  20. looks like the late 70's to me...the strips & the ball look of that era
  21. Great news for Marius.. He deserves it.....but as always there is a little cynic in me that thinks that some of the ICT board will be rubbing their hands if he plays a blinder at Euro 08
  22. Stewart Kean is as bad in FM08 as well as in real life..so art does imitate real llife sometimes
  23. Er didnt you write that? I might just do that...it will go nicely with my "Caley all the Way" book that i still have from years ago
  24. Thanks Charles...I must admit ive only hear rumours about the Anti Merger lot over the years...even some that they were still going with their court cases only a few years ago.. anyway thanks for that Peace
  25. Oh jeez..maybe i have opened old wounds...which was not the point of the post I dont think its important these days who did what at the time...it was a long time ago and we stand side by side now with one voice what is important is ICT and the future of this club we love so much
