  1. The eleven disciples gathered in the long corridor in the holy land of Tullochius Caledoniaii, listening to the words of their lord and master. "Right you b@stards, roll this fecking rock away from the door, let me out, and we'll say no more about it."

The teams around us have been improving, and we won't have Gretna to save us next year. The promoted club next season will not have as bad a time as Gretna and will pick up more points. The time to get it sorted is now, we will not be "safe" next season unless we do.
  3. Let me stress that I was not advocating booing during the game on Saturday, I believe that would be counter productive. However, if you are not happy with things after the game, then please let your feelings be known. If the board, the management, and the players can't see where we are going, then lets feckin point it out to them. It's our club too...................................C'mon ICT!
  4. I agree with all of you, don't boo the team while they are playing, we all support ICT, but if things are'nt right let the b@stards know how we feel! "We can't play on the park... Hear us now We can Bark Bark, Bark, Bark." " Who let the dogs out?"
  5. Hi guys, fair comments both, but what I'm suggesting is not booing our team, the bark is to let them know we're there and not happy. It would be a way of letting them know something they seem to have forgotten................................ It's our team too!
  6. As a group of loyal supporters, our voice on hear is'nt worth the bytes its printed on. This maybe a bad patch for the team, but how long can it be allowed to go on before the sh!t hits the fan and we start contemplating a swift return down the leagues? The board and chairman have made their choices, the manager has made his, our players are showing their feelings to the current atmosphere at the club, and we the fans are getting seriously p!ssed off with not only the results, but the lack of guts showed by all connected to the club. If we do not get our act together, we will be in relegation trouble next season. I do not advocate boycotting any of our home games, that would not help the clubs finances, but I do think it's time we let the club know how seriously we feel about how this season is going. To the dogs. I'd like to see and hear every fan barking on Saturday if the result does'nt go our way. I think this would be a very vocal, and would get the attention of those in charge. Discuss. :dog01: Meet the thread mascot, Woofer woeful the Third.
  7. I would have difficulty arguing with any of that, well put ictchris. :clapping03: The lack of "spine" is what is hurting us. C'mon Brew, show us what you've got!
  8. I agree about Skelton, but what if that is at the expense of Denzil? Oh no, I feel a conspiracy theory coming on. :crazy07:
  9. Just heard on the radio that Gretna,s players have been given permission to sign for other clubs with immediate effect. I wonder if we will be looking at any of them, and without stirring too much, did our club know this was coming which would explain the contract saga?

I sit right behind the away dugout and on Saturday yogi was at his very best. At one point he asked to borrow my hat because of the sun in his eyes, he put it in for a few seconds and then gave it back to me saying, " F*ck that, I was better of not seeing that sh!te" Followed a few minutes later by " And they wonder why I fecking drink". Absolute quality.

I liked him singing "Angels" :003:
  12. What have i said to you about reading tabloids... :016: The Gretna fairytale is a surreal existance, the fans probably had a deep feeling of 'When is the bubble going to burst?' well it has now. I hope they enjoyed it will it lasted. Sometimes even they get it right, BBC Scotland are reporting betweeen 1.3 and 3 million quid in debt. Can't see them lasting till the end of the season if this is correct.
  13. Amalgamation? If the SPL could lift their heads out of the trough this would make sense for all of Scottish football. Not holding my breath.
  14. Some of the tabloids are saying he is in real financial trouble.........looks like the dream is over.
  15. I thank you! But seriously, if you combine several of your players not knowing where their future lies, and a club uncertain of where it's place is in the league, you have to admit there is no surprise that we are currently struggling to play as a team, the thing that got us to the SPL in the first place. One bright note...................................................... We're not Gretna.
  16. Sorry Scotty, but I do not blame the B.E.N.I for our current plight.
  17. I believe that recent results are down to the board and management not knowing where the club should be going next. Yes we are now an established SPL club, yes we are safe from relegation again this season, yes on our day we are a match for the old firm, yes on our day we are capable of beating the rest, but are we improving? No! I had a conversation with one of our players after the Hearts game, and the impression I was left with was that a lot of our players feel insecure about their jobs, not knowing if they are part of the future of ICT, not knowing what direction the club is taking. Breaking the wage structure with MN while denying other players an appropriate wage is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not blaming CB, nor ignoring his role in team selection, I'm just worried that as a club we have no direction. Do we remain stagnant as an established SPL maker upper ( and flirt with relegation ), or do we invest in playing staff and make serious efforts to attract more supporters and get into Europe. I look to the board for leadership. Bring it on.
  18. One of the greatest moments in my life was singing "cheerio cheerio" to the Celtic fans as they streamed out before the final whistle. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up when i think of the pure joy of those moments, never to be forgotten. Heroes to a man, and woman, players and fans alike. A truly magical night. :clapping03:
  19. If anyone is up for it, how about Culloden pitches this Sunday, 11am -12 for a kickabout. I'll bring the jumpers.
  20. I would be happy with this idea if some of the money earned was distributed around smaller clubs and youth training, but it won't. It's just another marketing plan to enhance the "brand" and further line the pockets of already rich owners and players. The ethos and money in the game today is obscene. :33:
  21. They seem to have lost the support of the local population in that part of Inverness, historically their main income stream. Plus ICT may have attracted a few away. There seems to be a lack of support for football across the board in Inverness, with ICT having a lot of empty seats and Clach attracting only 300 at the weekend. Both clubs need a kick up the erse to start attracting more punters through the doors, starting with visits to schools and workplaces by players. It's in their own interests to drum up more support.

Watched the Hibs v Gers game on telly. When did JR learn to cross like that, or was he played in the wrong position in his time with us?
  23. How much do we get from the Robson / Celtic deal?
  24. Caleyd, the voice of reason, who would have thunkit? But he is spot on, working with the club on this is without doubt the way to go.
  25. Would it be feasable for ICT to absorb Clach as a feeder club / training facility / youth development initiative. With the experience ICT has gained over the years, and with good financial management, this could be good for both clubs, benefitting both. Just a thought, but it would be a sad day for Inverness not to have representation in the Highland league.
